Axemma is the femslash ship between Emma and Axel from the Total Drama fandom.
Canon[]
Total Drama Island (2023)[]
Axel and Emma had no direct interactions this season, due to them being placed on different teams and Axel's early elimination. The closest there was to a direct acknowledgement was Axel being determined to sink The Frogs of Death's ship in "Pirates of the Cabbage'ean", which included Emma but that was it.
Total Drama Island (2024)[]
This season, Axel and Emma's interactions were much stronger and more prominent, due to them being placed on the same team, Team Rat Face, and also both of them lasting in the game for longer.
In "The Pink Painter Strikes Again", Axel bolted across the field while Ax Hatchet was spinning uncontrollably. Emma looked at her in shock as she passed by.
In "Taking It to the Rim Reaper", Emma leapt into the 2 point slide and Axel followed hot on her heels, announcing to Emma that she was right behind her. Both of them missed their goal.
In "You Poor Saps", Emma was horrified to watch Axel and Ripper going ass-to-ass and farting a bubble of sap between each other.

In "Choosin' for a Bruisin'", Emma told Axel to pick B in regards to Scary Girl for her turn in the challenge. Emma believed that Scary Girl would rather eat Chef's cooking than let people know what goes on in her head. Axel didn't listen to her because she knew that Emma had a completely unbroken track record of being wrong every single time. Emma latched onto Axel's leg, begging her to let her help, as the latter dragged her across the ground. Axel doubted Emma when she deemed herself a people person. After some convincing from Priya, Axel finally gave in and chose to put her trust in Emma. Axel darkly threatened Emma that she hates losing so if she values her well-being, she had better get the answer right, as she slowly dragged her finger along her chin. Emma was fear-stricken and gulped, very intimidated into not messing up ... which she did. Scary Girl believed that there was nothing out of the ordinary in her brain, so she would rather let everyone know what she's thinking. Axel fell through the floor and lost the challenge, thanks to Emma's advice. Emma volunteered to go next in the challenge, to which Axel and Nichelle shared an objection. From the grounds below, Axel yelled back up to Emma about how she keeps making out with the person who cut her brakes, so she's by no means a "people person", having a poor judgement of character.
Because of Emma's incompetence during the challenge and her stupidity being the direct result of Team Rat Face's defeat, Emma was eliminated. There is no doubt in this world that Axel was one of her voters.
Fanon[]
Axemma has existed before the reboot initially released. When promotional material for the show was released, for some reason, there was an influx of fans, who thought that they would make a cute couple, based entirely off of their physical appearances and names, as this was the only information available about them at the time. However, during the first season, there was virtually no direct interactions between the two to help fuel their shippers in the fandom. Fortunately, by the release of Season 2, Axemma had an adequate uptick in popularity, thanks to them having more interactions. Most notably, their extended bout in "Choosin' for a Bruisin'", which has kind of become somewhat of a "golden grail" for Axemma shippers.
As of January 21st, 2024, 6 fanfictions of the two exist on AO3, and many posts about Axemma exist on TikTok.
Axemma's most prominent rival ships are Ripaxel and Chemma. Both of which are less-than-favorable ships in the community, meaning that despite being non-canon, Axemma doesn't have too much competition and could even be a contender for the most popular ship on behalf of both parties.
