Aya-Ume is the het ship between Ayano Aishi and Umeji Kizuguchi from the Yandere Simulator fandom.

Canon

Story Mode (202X)

Ayano and Umeji are two students who go to the same school. Their interactions are quite limited but generally neutral. If the player gets too close to Umeji, Umeji will push Ayano and tell her to stay back. If Ayano repeats this 5 times, Umeji will start fighting with her. If Ayano wins the fight, Umeji will say she's just lucky and leave, but if Ayano loses the fight, Ayano will get a black eye and face, and Umeji will leave her there after talking smugly. If Ayano tries to compliment or talk to him, Umeji will tell Ayano that he doesn't care what she thinks

Apart from that, if Ayano tries to be friends with him, Umeji will not accept at first and will find this request ridiculous and says that he will not be friends with Ayano, but when Ayano does not leave, Umeji gets bored and tells her to give him 100 dollars. He says this because he wanted Ayano to get away from him and while saying this, Umeji sarcastically says ''that this will make us best friends.'' When Ayano somehow earned the money and gave it to Umeji. Umeji will be surprised but still say that it doesn't change anything and that Umeji say ''I just accepted the gift.''

When Umeji and Ayano become friends, Umeji will no longer push Ayano away when she is too close to him and will say "Oh it's you" when she tries to talk to him. Even if Umeji becomes friends with Ayano, he will still refuse to distract someone, follow Ayano, or leave for Ayano.

Apart from this, there is a mission system called Bounty in the game. According to this system, Ayano needs to take a photo of Umeji defenseless and defeated on Thursday, so that Info chan can blackmail Umeji later. It is up to the player whether Ayano accepts the mission or not. If Ayano accepts the mission, Ayano must defeat Umeji in a fight and then take a photo of Umeji while he is injured from the fight. If Ayano does this, she will gain 25 info points.

Apart from this, if Ayano wishes, she can blame Umeji and his gang for as many crimes as possible in order to get them expelled from school in the previous weeks, in order to be able to defeat Osoro, who will be her rival in the following weeks, more easily. After Ayano blames them for many crimes, Genka will not be able to stand it anymore and will have Umeji and his gang expelled from school.

If Ayano wants to join the group, Ayano needs to do the duties of Umeji's friends, apart from that, she needs to dye her hair blonde, change into a delinquents personality and lower her reputation. If she does these, Umeji's button to join the gang will be activated. If Ayano tries to get information about the gang with Umeji after doing these, Umeji says that he is impressed by Ayano's actions and wonders why she did such a thing, and tells her that although joining this gang does not make her popular, it makes it easier to get people to do what she wants. Umeji will be surprised if Ayano really wants to join the gang After telling Ayano that this offer is not easy, he allows her to join the club. When Ayano joins the club, she starts wearing a mask.

Apart from that, if Ayano wants to do combat training, Umeji says that she can fight in a one-on-one fight, but they can teach her how to survive a mass fight. If Ayano accepts the offer, the fight starts and Ayano fights with all of them, but if Ayano does not accept, Umeji accepts with understanding, but Umeji warns about Ayano that streets not safe enough. Apart from this, if Ayano is in the gang, Umeji calls her to do criminal activities every day between 16.00 and 16.30. It is up to the player whether Ayano will join or not, but if she joins late, Umeji will be angry to Ayano.

If Ayano kills someone in front of Umeji and Umeji survives that day, Umeji tells Ayano that no one's hands are pure, but there are limits they cannot cross, and Umeji tells Ayano that she will never be able to join their gang.

Fanon

The Aya-Ume ship is known by the fandom as a rare but recognizable ship. This ship first appeared when the delinquents first appeared. As many people think that Umeji and other gang members were cooler and hotter than Taro, some people started to ship Umeji and Ayano, because Umeji is most well-known member of the gang. This ship mostly came about because fans wanted to see someone else as their senpai instead of Taro. Many people use this ship to ship themselves with Umeji instead of the dynamics between Ayano and Umeji because Ayano represents the player. Even though it is a ship that is partially known by the fandom and has a certain amount of fan art, it is still weak in terms of fan fiction and there are also more popular ships for both characters, Yanpai and Ayando for Ayano and Horu-Ume for Umeji. This ship is generally considered a rare ship by the fandom.
