Bal is the het ship between Mal and Ben from the Descendants fandom.

Ben and Mal first meet when Ben decides to have the VKs (villain Kids) to have a chance at a better life. He chooses the children of Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella de Vil and the Evil Queen. Not everyone is thrilled at the new announcement since everyone remembers how awful the old ways were, but they cautiously embrace Mal, Jay, Evie and Carlos. Ben and his current girlfriend at this point Audrey, who is the daughter of Sleeping Beauty, greet the new arrivals and as Ben meets them Audrey notices something between the two and tries to prevent anything from happening by keep talking. Over the course of the movie Mal finds out that only Ben's girlfriend can stand next to him besides his parents on the day of his coronation, so she finds a love spell to become his new girlfriend. However, as time goes by Mal starts to unknowingly develop true feelings from Ben and decides to undo the spell, but it wears off on her date with ben at the enchanted lake. He doesn't say anything until the day of his coronation and reveals that his feelings are real. By the end of the movie Mal chooses good and wants to be with Ben and tells the audience their story isn't over.

Mal is feeling under pressure of becoming a lady of the court and her relationship with Ben seems to be a fairytale until he finds out she's been using her spellbook to help her with her new duties. she feels like she doesn't belong in her new home and with her eyes doing a different effect while feeling under pressure, she goes back to the Isle of The Lost to feel like herself again. Eventually Mal returns to Bens kingdom and realizes that she truly loves ben and gives him true loves kiss and becomes a lady of the court. Which in simple terms means that Ben and Mal to be married as soon as he asks her to marry him.

Ben asks Mal to marry him and she happily accepts. Of course everyone excepts Audrey bens ex-girlfriend isn't happy for the new engaged couple because she was supposed to be his queen. With Audrey out for revenge Mal reluctantly makes an alliance with Uma, Gil and Harry but the alliance slowly turns into a true friendship once again. With the help of her father hades, Mal eventually defeats and saves Audrey and the whole kingdom celebrates the upcoming Wedding and Marriage of Ben and Mal.

Descendants: The Royal Wedding

The Big day finally arrives. Mal and Ben are preparing to get married and of course something goes wrong. Hades unintentionally ruins the venue when his hair blows blue fire at the curtains. Mal, Evie and Jay go to get him back to the event and they have a moment to mourn Carlos who died between the last movie the wedding. They convince hades to come to the Wedding by having the wedding on the Isle and Ben and Mal finally get married in front their parents and best friends and have Fairy Godmother officiate the ceremony. She magically poofs everyone to the reception and the whole kingdom celebrates the New Marriage of their King and Queen. This concludes the story of Ben, Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos and their friends. However the last scene shows White roses painted red leading into a rabbit hole leading to new possible story for a new bunch of Descendants.
