Baliifu is the het ship between Baliyo and Tiifu from The Lion King fandom.
Canon[]
Tiifu was introduced in The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar, which served as the premiere for the series. She is a young lioness of the Pride Lands and one of Princess Kiara’s best friends. Baliyo was introduced in the show’s third and final season as a member of the Night Pride, protectors of the Tree of Life. The only known encounter between the two came when Tiifu visited the Tree of Life to attend the wedding of Kiara’s brother Kion to Baliyo’s sister Rani.
While the series cuts off abruptly after the proclamation of Kion's new status as King of the Tree of Life, it is easy to imagine Baliyo and Tiifu interacting after the wedding and coronation. It's also entirely possible they would have exchanged greetings beforehand, with Baliyo and the rest of the Night Pride undoubtedly greeting Tiifu and the other visitors when they arrived at the Tree of Life. Either way, it seems quite probable that either Kion or one of his family members would have introduced Tiifu to Kion's new brother-in-law. The two would then presumably have some time to get acquainted, unless there was some reason why the visitors would have immediately departed for their homelands.
Tiifu is notable for her fear of the dark, seen in The Lion Guard season two episode "The Underground Adventure." However, she notes in the same episode that this fear is only of the complete darkness of underground, and that she doesn't mind the darkness of night which is brightened by stars and the moon. As such, she and Baliyo might well bond over a shared regard for the night, as Baliyo and the Night Pride typically operate during those hours. Alternatively, the two might be able to enjoy a relationship in spite of keeping different hours, as Kion and Rani were able to do.
Like her friend Zuri, Tiifu is greatly impressed by royalty. She might thus be impressed by Baliyo's status as a member of the Tree of Life's royal family. Of course, Tiifu is also devoted to her friend and future queen Kiara, much as Baliyo is devoted to his sister and queen Rani. Any relationship between the pair would thus presumably require one or the other to take leave of their home and their respective monarch.

Baliifu is a rarepair within The Lion King fandom. Both characters are somewhat minor, and as noted above they don’t even actually interact in the series. However, het shippers eager to see various characters in romantic relationships have gravitated towards the pairing. KiTii is a known rival pairing for Tiifu, while Zuriyo is a rival pairing for Baliyo.
