Balleafy is the het ship between Balloony and Leafy from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for BFDI[]
During team picking of the season, Leafy offers Balloony some help as one of the people she chooses on her team. Balloony states that he doesn't need help but accepts joining her team anyways. Later while the teams are being named, Leafy thinks that Balloony is misunderstanding Woody and she herself goes to ask Woody what he's saying. The two work with the rest of the team to figure out a team name, which shortly later ends up being named BEEP.
In the jawbreaker challenge, Balloony is given a 3 on Leafy's loyalty chart, the lowest out of the team. After the end of the challenge when Cloudy finds Balloony's deflated body, Leafy asserts to Cloudy that Balloony is still alive. She pulls out an air pump and starts inflating him to try and show Cloudy that he is still alive and happy. Balloony starts being overinflated as he asks Leafy to stop, though Leafy whispers to Cloudy that she agrees with him when he called Balloony's deflated body a hindrance. When Balloony pops as a result of being overinflated, Leafy sarcastically expresses concern for him.
At Cake at Stake when Leafy tries to motivate her team, Cloudy mentions how she's killed Balloony multiple times. Leafy tries to explain that she only wanted what was best for him and wasn't aware of his conditions. Later when Leafy is revealed to be the next one eliminated, Balloony is happy to finally not have his team be assigned jobs like they were in the jawbreaker challenge.
When Leafy rejoins the season, she is initially happy to see her old teammates again. However, Balloony and the rest of the team back away upon seeing her, making Leafy feel unwanted as she points this out to Four. She rejoins on a different team nonetheless.
Battle for BFB[]
When Leafy finds Lollipop mean, the latter calls back to the time where she murdered Balloony. Balloony himself thanks Lollipop for standing up for him. Later, the two are placed on the same team in the Four-colored team. At night after losing the challenge, Leafy tries to make Balloony feel better when they have to head all the way back to Four. She calls it more bonding time for their new friends, although Balloony is still angry that he has to remind her that she killed him in a previous challenge.
Fanon[]
Balleafy is a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The ship emerged mainly during the run of pre-split BFB where the two were some of the main focuses of their team in the early episodes of the season. Fans felt mixed with the pairing during this time, with a lot not seeing the vision because of their mostly negative interactions. Despite this, ship art still emerged of the two, commonly with ones focusing on ships within their teammates. Ship discussions mentioning the two see them in a more light-hearted manner and often make jokes about the ship. Nowadays and during this time, the pairing is usually overshadowed by their more popular pairings such as Fireafy and Balloudy.
