Balloonpop is the het ship between Balloony and Lollipop from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Battle for Dream Island Again[]
In the Locker of Losers when Balloony is among those blocking some people from seeing TV's menu, Lollipop suggests using Naily to pop him. Balloony screams seeing her holding Naily as Lollipop carries on popping him, eager to see what's on TV. The two, along with everyone else inside, later get an upgraded appearance after getting hit by a laser from Gelatin.
While the LOL hovers over the air, Balloony points out the spire in front of them. Calling it huge, Lollipop smugly compares it to his "huge inflated noggin". Balloony also notices a bunk bed on top of the spire as Lollipop advises that they steer away from it, not wanting to crash.
Battle for BFB[]
As Leafy tells the voters to consider Lollipop's harsh comments to her, Lollipop brings up how she previously killed Balloony and got eliminated for it. Balloony thanks Lollipop for defending him, calling it her job to defend a fellow sphere on a cylinder, and the two-high five. Four is angry at them because they didn't "high-four" and starts pulling Balloony's hand to make fingers when he says he only has one. Lollipop is terrified seeing Four do this to Balloony. Later when Lollipop learns she is placed on the team with Leafy, she calls her "Balloony's ruthless murderer".
Balloony is concerned when Lollipop is unconscious from Four's screech. Four starts patting her when Balloony suggests him to do so, although Lollipop is still dazed. Balloony continues to tell Four to pat her until he accidentally splits Lollipop apart.
Fanon[]
Balloonpop is a fairly popular ship for the two characters. Lollipop defending Balloony from Leafy in early post-split BFB mainly sparked the ship between the two. Although, Balloony's early elimination in the part of the season gave them a harder chance to interact in the show. Fans believed if Balloony had a chance to stay longer, he would have developed a better bond with Lollipop. Partly because of this, the two have more popular rival ships, such as Balloudy, Flowerpop, and Gelapop. Still, shippers of the two consider their dynamic already shown to be positive.
The ship has four works on AO3 as of October 1, 2024. It is the second most written ship for Balloony and the eighth most for Lollipop on the site.
