Bask8ball is the het ship between Basketball and 8-Ball from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

While forming teams for the Battle for BFDI, Basketball suggests teaming up with 8-Ball because they're both balls. 8-Ball agrees and also gets Golf Ball and Tennis Ball to join them. When the first challenge starts, part of Golf Ball's plan is to use 8-Ball and Basketball to weigh the flying basket down once they get ahold of it.
When the team realizes that Golf Ball hasn't been treating Grassy well and that 8-Ball could manage the team in her absense, Basketball apoints him as the new team leader. She tells Golf Ball this when she is brought back, causing an outrage through the team.
Golf Ball tries to lead the team through the swingset challenge but 8-Ball instead states the opposite of her instructions. Basketball reminds Golf Ball that they listen to 8-Ball over her. She continues to follow each of 8-Ball's orders, such as swinging backwards and ducking down.
8-Ball tells the team to waste time on making something for Four. The rest of the team, except for Golf Ball, does so and Basketball is glad to follow 8-Ball. The two later yell at Golf Ball for disobeying orders.
Basketball notices that Four has been abusing his powers recently and wishes to stop him from causing further harm. She asks 8-Ball on what she can do, who directs her attention to Golf Ball's idea. 8-Ball and Basketball later ride a sled with the rest of the team to combine Four, X, and Donut together. When Four and X are gone as a result, the team celebrates their victory. 8-Ball can be seen jumping on top of Basketball. Later, when their team is on the moon, Basketball and 8-Ball bring up the fact to team Bleh, who followed them up there, that they have a good chance at losing the challenge for doing so.
During the team's first Cake at Stake ceremony, Golf Ball and 8-Ball in the bottom two. Basketball wishes that they don't lose their team leader. 8-Ball believes that Basketball is talking to her and assures her he'll try his hardest to remain on the team. Golf Ball believes that Basketball was instead referring to her and she and 8-Ball shush each other.

Bask8ball has a fairly decent following in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. Fans often support the pair because of two being both balls and having an early bond in the fourth season. Basketball will to follow 8-Ball's lead shaped the general direction of how their friendship was viewed. However, there has not been much development for the pair after 8-Ball's elimination. Basketball has gained further leadership traits throughout the following season, The Power of Two, leading some fans to wonder if she would still be a follower towards 8-Ball should he return. The ship rivals some of Basketball's more popular pairings, such as Basketbot and SnowBasket.
