Canon[]
You Know Those Buttons Don't Do Anything, Right?[]
Robot Flower tells Basketball that it was her first time being on a team without any other balls. Basketball points out that Eggy kind of looks like a ball, which offends her. However, after Basketball tells Eggy that she'd love to have her on her team, Eggy responds with a small "alright". Basketball then tells her she'd like Foldy and Bell and Eggy calls them good choices.
Basketball is thinking about who their last teammate could be. Eggy tells her that there's only one person who hasn't been picked, who ends up being Snowball.
During the challenge, Basketball tries to reassure that Robot Flower wouldn't betray them. Eggy shushes her and tells her to check out The S! team's strategy. Basketball asks who they should throw and Eggy suggests Foldy, but this doesn't work as she gets carried by the wind. When Basketball is urging her teammates to follow her into the elevator, she tells Eggy to look out for Foldy, who obliges. Later, the elevator opens on a floor instead of the roof, Basketball rapidly presses the button to close the door. Eggy tell her that the buttons don't do anything.
The Worst Day of Black Hole's Life[]
Basketball puts Eggy in charge of everyone while she leaves to fix Robot Flower. Later, Basketball and Robot Flower arrive back to the team at the same time as Eggy, making Basketball question where she went. She gets angry at Eggy for leaving the team, claiming she never should've trusted her. Basketball is also very surprised when Eggy claims that she dumped her leadership responsibilities on her, seemingly asking since when she was the leader before getting interrupted by Bell. They continue to argue until the challenge ends with them losing. She agrees with Eggy that their team could have done better.
Getting Puffball to Think About Rollercoasters[]
Basketball and Eggy both address their team at the same time, Basketball tells Eggy that she can speak first.
Gardening Zero[]
Eggy gets annoyed at Snowball for having them protect a plant in the cold. Basketball acknowledges that she's right, as the plant's vitals were failing with every second.
Eggy says that it'll probably be fine if Grassy's bracelet is completely burnt. Basketball says she isn't sure about that and that their burning teammates strategy is making her nervous.
At the end of the episode, Basketball says that their plant will die now that there's no heat. Eggy says "figures" before their frozen plant snaps in two.
Fishes and Dishes[]
After hearing Snowball's report on how the team is doing, Eggy smugly tells Basketball that her leadership skills have disastrous. She also brags that they've been keeping TV the hostage in line and that he's been fully cooperative. Basketball loses her angry expression and points out that Robot Flower seems to be the one watching TV if anything.
Fanon[]
Basketegg is moderately well-known, but doesn't have too many shippers. Although they interacted in every episode of TPOT (up until Eggy's elimination in episode 6), their interactions are usually overlooked. In addition, none of them are extremely positive, but those who acknowledge their interactions see that they aren't too negative either. It is however overshadowed by Basketball's more popular ships, Basketbot and Bask8ball.
