BatKids is the family ship between Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Stephanie Brown, Tim Drake, Cassandra Cain and Damian Wayne from the DC Comics fandom.

Half of the young members of the Batfamily are the adopted wards of Bruce Wayne. Part from Steph who is a close friend of theirs, while Damian is Bruce's bio son. Dick being the first ward has him view himself as the older brother and role model for those who picked up the Robin mantle he helped to start, before putting it down. Leading it to be inherited by Jason, Tim, Steph and Damian. As for Cassandra she started out as the second Batgirl, before changing her name to Black Bat and then Orphan. Tim wishes to get along with his adopted siblings and allies, even though both Jason and Damian weren't too pleased with him when they first met. Leaving Dick to keep the peace between them and the others. He believes that the Robin mantle binds them together as a family, including Cass through their connection with Bruce. Who brought them together in the first place.
Whenever a case calls for it, the six will always be there to aid one another. Despite them mostly being off doing their own thing, as well the friction that their vigilante lives has created between them. Along with Damian seeing himself being superior to the others he saw as below him, but despite their rocky start the others were able to form some kind of bond with him. Just as Steph and Cass can be found hanging out with Barbara Gordon as fellow Batgirls, the Batbrothers are mostly seen together. In comics and DC related medias.
The Wayne Family Adventures web comic has focused on their lives within the manor outside and within their vigilante lives. Allowing it to showcase the sibling bond and energy that the Wayne wards share with one another. Unlike other DC comic or media universes Steph has appeared in, the web comic has her as one of Bruce's adopted children and has showcased many moments of her being a sister to the other young Batfamily sidekicks. Most of these siblings moments, however, don't always have all six BatKids together. Like when Jason, Tim, Damian and Cass were fighting over the last cookie with Duke. Along with Dick, Tim, Jason, Damian and Cass showcasing their similarities, like hero name changes and starting their own teams, through their vigilante bingo game. Duke has found himself to be caught up or made part of these moments after he moved into the manor. When their hero lives cause problems in their civilian lives, they are there to help each other out. Just as they may try to out do one another, in friendly sibling rivalry or simply teasing each other. Damian had even gathered blackmail marital on his siblings, so he won't be forced to do their chores. When he tried to find any secrets that Jason would want to keep quite from the others, the two ended up hanging out and agreed not to speak of it to the others. As for Steph, she tends to drag her adopted siblings into other people's personal lives. While Dick does what he can to be there for all of them, even though it has caused friction when he finds himself putting sibling bonding time he promised off to help another one of his siblings. Jason managed to give Dick helpful advice on the subject and to make peace with Tim. After he blew him off to help Damian with his school work.

The BatKids are beloved by those who prefer the young Gotham vigilantes over the adult members of the Batfamily. Due to their sibling bond through Batman or the Robin mantel. Even though Steph was never adopted by Bruce (in the mainstream universe) and Cass had started out as Batgirl than a previous Robin. There have been fanfics and AUs that do have Steph as a Wayne ward like the other BatKids, from feeling that she is more of a sister than simply a friend to the rest of them. Although she and Tim had dated in the past, before she was made a BatKid. Fans of the Batman: Wayne Family Adventures web comic enjoy the sibling moments between them, while they share some of those moments with Barbara and Duke. With the BatKids also being apart of the Young Bats.
