BatLex is the slash ship between Bruce Wayne and Lex Luthor from the DC Comics, DC Animated Universe and DC Extended Universe fandoms.

Bruce goes to Metropolis and meets with Lex Luthor, who shows him the robot that their companies had collaborated on. Bruce congratulates him on the work and Lex reminds him that it's his project as well. Bruce says that he's proud of both their teams and how the robots will revolutionize unmanned space travel. Lex places an arm around Bruce and whispers that there could be a use for the robots on earth. He then leads Bruce down a hall and explains how the robots can easily be used in battle, but Bruce says that he won't allow it. Lex is confused and Bruce says that he doesn't like guns. Lex has a say in this, but Bruce reminds him that all applications of the project needs his approval first. He says that Lex's pals at the Pentagon will just have to deal with it, much to Lex's anger.

A few nights later, Clark tells Lois and Bruce that he believes that Joker is working for Lex, but can't prove it. Bruce says that he could ask Lex, and that night puts on his cowl, heading to Lex's place. He breaks in, waking Lex, who demands to know what he wants. He demands information, and Lex tries to play ignorant, only for Bruce to knock out his bodyguard before she can take him out. Bruce says that Lex knows exactly what he means, and demands to know what deal he made with The Joker. Several more bodyguards knock on the door, and Bruce casually starts to walk away. He tells Lex to think about it, and that he'll be back, before taking off.

BatLex is considered a rarepair in the DC Comics fandom, though is common in some parts of the Batman/Superman fandom. With many shippers coming from the DCAU. As some saw chemistry between the two during crossover episodes. On AO3, BatLex is the fifth most written ship for Lex. There are currently 220+ written works.
