Beffilbo is the het ship between Beffica Winklesnoot and Filbo Fiddlepie from the Bugsnax fandom.

Canon

Beffica is first introduced after the Journalist and Filbo cross the bridge. There, they meet Beffica, who settled in a cave after leaving Snaxburg. When encountering her, Filbo greets her in a low manner. Beffica snorts and appears indignant that a “squeeb” is speaking to her. Filbo weakly responds that he indeed, is not a “squeeb”, in which she rebuttals and claims that his personality type appears as “squeeb” in her Snaxscope. Along with this, he has no skill and no friends. Filbo argues that the Snaxscope displays these traits because she inputted them in herself. Nevertheless, she continues, declaring that it has additionally stated that he is a “terrible leader”. Filbo attempts to speak but pathetically resigns. She rudely dismisses him, and he reluctantly obeys. When she speaks to the Journalist, she explains that in the meantime while they discover new Bugsnax, they should get Filbo out of here. When returning to Snaxburg without her, Filbo suggests that the Journalist should head to the beach to speak to Gramble, but also gives them the option to return and speak to Beffica in which his demeanor shifts into a more uncomfortable and disdainful tone when regarding her.

The two overall do not have a healthy relationship mainly due to Beffica’s antagonistic influence towards him for his failure at keeping the residents of Snaxburg together during Eggabell and Lizbert’s absence. The two heavily spark the Opposites Attract trope for various reasons. Beffica is sassy, sarcastic, and desires to unearth any secrets for the topic of journalism and gossip. Filbo is sweet and caring towards all and desires to gain the trust of anyone and become a decent leader. Notably, one of the biggest contrasts between their personalities is how Beffica seeks to apply dirt on anyone if it benefits her and does not hesitate to argue and insult others; all of which greatly differs from Filbo, who desires to earn individuals’ mutual liking for him. But despite these characteristics, Beffica truly cares about friendships and possesses self doubt about her ability to get along with others.

This is also a struggle Filbo faces himself, earning the duo the Lonely Together trope. This small connection Despite Beffica’s constant degradation and strong dislike for Filbo sparking a rather toxic bond, Filbo ensures that she brings everyone back to Snaxburg, including her. She is also seen in the group photo with him in the end credits after he had earned the position as an official mayor of New Grump City. This may signify that the two have reached a mutual civilized relationship after the events of the traumatic downfall of Snacktooth Island.

• When a menacing sound is heard from Chandlo and Snorpy’s currently unoccupied cabin, Beffica offers to sacrifice Filbo.

Fanon

The duo as a heterosexual ship is not popularized at all, earning its position as a rarepair. The two are heavily rivaled with Filbuddy for many reasons. AUs may be created to ensure a much healthier relationship between them, or fans of the pairing deem them as Enemies to Lovers as they get closer. This interpretation will eventually become Canon if Beffica were to survive the Quake. She's seen in a group photo looking happy for Filbo who has won Mayor of Grumpcity.
