Berdsei is the Slash ship between Berdly and Ralsei.

Canon

Though Ralsei recognizes Kris and Susie instantly when they arrive in their first Dark World, there's no indication that Ralsei knew about Berdly at that point. Since the Dark Worlds only started appearing in the first chapter, there is no way that Berdly would've known about Ralsei either.

Chapter 2

When Kris, Susie, and Ralsei first encounter Berdly in the Cyber World, he boasts about his intelligence and his alignment with Queen. Ralsei mostly observes this exchange, offering moral support to Kris and Susie.

During the battle with Berdly, Ralsei participates by healing and supporting the team along with Kris having the option to order him (and/or Susie) to bump into Berdly's car. Berdly makes several condescending remarks, but Ralsei remains calm. When Ralsei tries to talk sense into Berdly by telling him that Queen is just manipulating him, Berdly dismisses him. He says that Queen told him that Ralsei would say that and Queen confirms this. However, all four of them are subjected to falling off Queen's rollercoaster as she forgot to finish it, ending the battle abruptly and resulting in Berdly going missing for a while.

Berdly has a chance to reunite with the others and Ralsei again if Kris chooses him as the recipiant of the carnival gift. This will result in Berdly briefly joining Kris' party, so brief that he will immediately leave to look for Queen once the others want to move on to the next room.

When the party is on their way to Queen's mansion to seal the Dark Fountain, Ralsei witnesses Queen capture all four of the Lightners, unable to stop her. When he complains that he wasn't captured with them, Queen sheepishly admits that she forgot about him.

Later, the Kris and Susie find Berdly near their chambers, reuniting with Ralsei after finding out that he got a position as Queen's butler. Berdly feels sorry for siding with Queen, her betrayal of him causes him to try and help the heroes rescue Noelle and seal the fountain. He gets the idea of teaming up with Susie to sneak into Noelle's chamber, calling Ralsei "Kris' lackey" when telling him and Kris that they should try to distract Queen on their way. As Berdly leaves with Susie, Ralsei asks Kris if they also think of him as their lackey, regardless of what Kris says, Ralsei will take it as a compliment.

However, Ralsei will be shocked to learn that Berdly's plan failed and that Queen had put a plug in Berdly's face to force him into obedience. Ralsei is appalled by Queen resorting to enslave a Lightner, reminding her that a Darkner's purpose is to serve them, not the other way around. During the fight against Queen, Ralsei will proclaim that they won't let her control everyone.

Ralsei again shows his caring nature by checking on Berdly after Queen's defeat. He reassures Berdly and encourages him to join their side, highlighting the importance of unity and friendship. If the heroes failed to loosen the plug on Berdly's face during the battle, Ralsei can only promise him that the three of them will save Noelle.

Berdly repays the heroes by rallying the Darkners into a resistence as it seems that Queen's GIGA mech caused the three of them to plummet into certain doom. Together, they built a mech for them to battle Queen with.

When Queen is defeated for the final time, Berdly and Noelle discuss why they shouldn't just make more Dark Worlds, with Susie agreeing with them. But just as Berdly makes a speech while embedding his will into his blade to create another fountain, Ralsei stops him. He questions what all of them are thinking trying to create another fountain, interrupting Berdly multiple times as he's trying to explain. Berdly couldn't give a straight answer when Ralsei asks him what he thinks will happen afterwards, Ralsei will explain that more than two fountains at a time will only bring "the Roaring". The fountains will cause the "Titans" to take shape and spread devastation across the land. Survivors of the Roaring won't have anything to look forward to, Darkners will slowly petrify one by one, Lightners will be trapped in darkness forever with nobody to guide them. Berdly and the others realize that making more fountains is a bad idea and abandon it thanks to Ralsei scaring them away from the thought. Ralsei returning to the storage closet after Kris and Susie seal the fountain in the library makes any future meetings between Berdly and Ralsei unlikely.

Berdsei is a rarepair, though it is one of the more popular Berdly ships. It is either shipped as part of Krerdsei or as a side-ship for any combination of Kris, Susie and Noelle.
