Bevin is the slash ship between Ben Tennyson and Kevin Levin from the Ben 10 fandom.
Canon[]
Ben 10 (Classic)[]
Ben, without his grandfather's permission, went to an arcade, where he met Kevin, who, liking Ben, used his powers to expel all the tokens from the machine, giving them as gifts to Ben. Gwen said that Ben could not accept, since the chips were not his. Ben said they would become. Shortly thereafter, a gang came to Kevin's side, and Ben decided to transform into the XLR8 to defend Kevin.
That done, Kevin, still unaware of the Omnitrix, invites Ben to tour New York. Gwen insists he doesn't accept it, but the stubborn boy didn't care and went for a walk with Kevin around town. Kevin tells Ben that the gang was chasing him because he had destroyed their hiding place and Ben, not seeming to realize that Kevin was not a good person to accompany him to where he lived.
Kevin asks Ben why his grandfather is mad at him. Ben explains that he had a fight with him, because he decided to play the sumo video game, that the local security guard had already warned that only guests were allowed to play, but Ben entered as Ghostfreak and the Omnitrix disarmed, causing the three to be expelled of a four-star hotel that Max had already paid for.
Ben says it is the game that will only come out next year, so Kevin decides to help him and takes Ben where the games were in stock for distribution, then the two break down the door and Kevin hands one of the copies to Ben. But soon the police arrive around the place with helicopters and even S.W.A.T was there. Ben, realizing the confusion he had gotten into, asks Kevin if he knew how to keep a secret while transforming into the Insectoid to escape the place.
When they lose the police, they hide in a tunnel, and the Omnitrix disarms with the two hidden inside one of the cars taken by a truck. Right after all that confusion, Ben says everything about the clock. Kevin, already knowing that Ben and XLR8 were the same person, suggests that two unite and join their powers, stating that they could do what they want and when they want without anyone telling them to and Ben, totally clueless, agrees.
Then they both descend to the underground, and Kevin joins the train tracks, stating that a train full of money would pass by, and when the other one came along, they would hit each other and fly money everywhere, so Ben would turn around. the XLR8 and they would run away. Ben disagrees, saying that thousands of innocent people would die, but Kevin replies "No pain, no gain", as if it were normal.
Now, knowing who he was messing with, Ben turns into the Heatblast to attack Kevin, but Kevin manages to absorb the Omnitrix's energy and acquires the powers of the alien. Soon, the trains start to approach, but Ben manages to separate the tracks again and is almost run over, but he manages to teleport through the fire with the power of the Heatblast, stopping on top of the train. Kevin, seeing that he failed in his plans, tries to get revenge on Ben by attacking him, but he was saved by Max.
Ben explains that Kevin was misusing the powers of Heatblast, and they ask him where Kevin was. Ben guesses, hitting right away: the hiding place where the gang that tormented Kevin was. Ben turns into Four Arms and once again, there was a fight between Ben and Kevin. The Heatblast's power soon disappeared, but Kevin absorbs the Four Arms and becomes a hideous creature with the same level of strength as Ben's alien. When the clock was about to disarm, Ben decides it was time to act, and gives Kevin a hell of a kick.
The Omnitrix finally disarms, but Kevin, being a dirty and characterless boy, tries to convince Ben that he has gone mad with power, and that he has no one like Ben to help him. Ben then says that they could still be partners, offering his hand to Kevin, who deceives him and tries to remove the omnitrix that releases a small burst of omni energy as a defense which it makes Kevin lost the powers of Four Arms and forcing him to flee. But at the end of the episode it's revealed that kevin still has the Heatblast's powers.
Episodes later Ben discover that Kevin had managed to absorb the powers of the ten aliens of the omnitrix, and was committing crimes and destruction in various parts of the world, accusing the aliens of Ben and the boy of being responsible. And, to top it all, Ben was chased in the episode by an authority trained to fight aliens called Lieutenant Steel.
The most interesting thing was how Kevin managed to control his transformations, just by focusing a lot. There was a lot of fighting between Kevin and Ben, and in the end, the opponents ended up fighting on a bridge, in which Lieutenant Steel ends up finding out which alien was innocent and which was to blame.
When Ben beat him, Kevin became angry and permanently transformed himself into an amalgamation of Ben's 10 aliens. Which makes him more angry and attacks Ben, but he is interrupted by Lieutenant Steel, who shoots him with a bazooka that throws him into the water.
But he survives and keeps trying to defeat Ben to get the omnitrix, until the day he joins Vilgax and is trapped in the nullifier.
Ben 10: Alien Force/Ultimate Alien[]
Kevin returns in Ben 10: Alien Force healed from his mutation and as an ally of Ben and Gwen. Kevin's powers work differently than the powers in the original series.
His love for Gwen grows as the series unfolds, but that doesn't stop fans from shipping him with Ben as much for his jokes with Ben as for their approach.
Omniverse[]
In Ben 10: Omniverse, he decides to take a break from missions and go to college with Gwen, but Kevin still appears in several episodes as an ally.
Fanon[]
Bevin is not a very popular Ben 10 slash ship, mainly because slash ships are not popular in Ben 10's fandom. Its origins may be because they were friends before Kevin became a maniac and he became quite friend with Ben afterwards of Alien Force.
