Bickey is the slash ship between Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse from the Looney Tunes, Mickey Mouse and Friends and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? fandoms.
Canon[]
Bugs Bunny and Mickey Mouse are the iconic mascots of their respectable film companies, Warner Brothers and Disney. Both are shown to have an affinity for the stereotypical favorite food of their species, carrots and cheese respectively. Both also have friends/rivals in the form ill-tempered ducks.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit?[]
Bugs and Mickey have a short, voiced cameo where they skydive next to Eddie Valiant in Toontown as he's just about to fall to his doom. They have a friendly chat with him, with Bugs telling him that he'll need a parachute to make it safely to the ground. However, when Eddie opens the parachute, an anvil comes out leading to him falling to the ground faster. Mickey feels sorry for the "poor fella", but Bugs insists that he'll be fine.
They later appear again at the end to celebrate the defeat of Judge Doom with everyone. They always appear together due to mandates from both Disney and Warner that the other company's mascot should not have more screentime than theirs.
Fanon[]
Bugs and Mickey are often depicted as rivals, mirroring the real-life rivalry between the Warner Brothers and Disney. Although, there have been those who have featured the two as friends, or lovers for pure fun. Even though crossover ships don't have large fanbases and can be quite rare. Even if the characters in the ship have in fact met in the same canon universe, like the one featured in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?. That has a brief scene of Mickey and Bugs having a friendly chat.
People often consider Bickey to be the cartoon variant of SonMario, finding Mickey to be similar to Mario as the responsible adult with a clean slate and Bugs to be similar to Sonic as the more "edgy" trickster (though both have mellowed out since their initial portrayals as such). In some of the more serious stories, Bugs is depicted as very powerful but even he knows that only a fool would underestimate Mickey.
Some fans were disappointed that Mickey didn't appear in Cartoon All-Stars To The Rescue, with the Duck Triplets substituting for him, since they were hoping for more interaction between him and Bugs.
Most of the fics on AO3 are tagged as platonic, with only one romantic tag. Much like most ships based on classic cartoons, there's more fanart than fanfic. Even then, most fanart just depicts them as friends.
