BlackPen is the slash ship between Pen and Black Hole from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
Battle for BFDI[]
Pen asks Black Hole what the challenge was. Black Hole told him that they needed to return a basket to X. After they won, Pen was high-fiving his team. Black Hole says high five, however it didn't really work.
Pen is pushed into Black Hole by a fork Gelatin threw at him.
After Four tells everyone the next challenge, Pen begins to ask Black Hole if he could draw but is interrupted by Tree, who berates Pen for relying on Black Hole to do challenges. Pen and Death P.A.C.T. devise a plan to call Black Hole for help in absorbing the forks. However, Remote discovers that Black Hole may not have a good sense of hearing. Pillow suggests that someone should go and inform Black Hole in person while she stays behind to prevent the forks from causing further damage. Pen disagrees and says that it only takes one person to inform Black Hole. But Pillow warns them that if one person leaves, they will all face a painful death. After some argument, Pen and his teammates decide to take the risk and go to inform Black Hole. Upon their request, Black Hole agrees to suck up the forks. Meanwhile, Pen uses the remaining 5 seconds to draw Four.
When Pie suggests a simpler solution, Pen misunderstands her and throws the balls into a Black Hole. This causes Pen to become frustrated and, along with the rest of Death P.A.C.T., he decides to retrieve the balls himself to ensure his team's safety.
Pen and Death P.A.C.T. are on a mission to find X's treasure located in the Evil Canyon. However, their journey is interrupted by Black Hole, who reminds them of their primary mission- to prevent death, not cause it. Black Hole also brings up the recent death of Pillow to highlight the significance of their mission. In response, Pen and his team flutter their arms, which disappoints Black Hole.
The Power of Two[]
Having been former teammates, Pen knows Black Hole well enough to know how seriously he takes his death prevention. He also manages to take advantage of this. He climbs up his team's stack of blocks and risks his own life to stop Black Hole from sucking them up. This became the end of their friendship. Black Hole gets mad at Pen, and asks if death is just some kind of game to him. He also says that he doesn't need to kill Pen for him to be dead to him.
They sleep next to each other during the challenge. In his nightmare, Black Hole kills Pillow, Remote, Pie, Liy, Bottle, Lightning and Pen.
Pen chases Black Hole and Marker to stop them. Marker asks Black Hole to save him from this nightmare, Black hole provokes Giant David to scream. David's scream knocks down Needle, Marker, and Pen, and Black Hole picks them up. Black Hole tells Marker to keep his voice down, because "he" is here, and Pen whispers: "Oh God, not again."
When Pen and his team go to the Black Hole to help them get to the giant David, he agrees and says that he is glad to see Liy again. Pen gives him an annoyed look after he greets Lily, but not him.
When Black Hole raises his team, Liy shouts at him that this is a cheating and throws Pen at him to knock Fanny down. When Black Hole takes away the jetpacks, Pen looks at him and shakes with anger.
