Blot x Tapes is the cargo ship between Blot and tapes from the Dandy's World fandom.

Blot is a Toon from Dandy's World. He can be bought from Dandy's shop in the Lobby with the right requirements at all times.
Tapes are a currency while doing runs in the game and can be obtained through various means. This includes doing machines, encountering Twisteds, using items, and performing a Toon's active ability. During runs, Tapes spawn throughout floors, and they increase in amount the higher the floor is.
Another way to obtain Tapes is by equipping certain Trinkets that gives a player a certain amount of Tapes at the start of every run. This includes Fancy Purse and and Coin Purse. Coin Purse grants 30 Tapes and can only be gained by purchasing it from Dandy's Shop in the Lobby. On the other hand, Fancy Purse grants 100 Tapes and can only be gained by completing 100% Research on Twisted Teagan. Equipping the two at once will grant the player 130 Tapes.
Blot is a male non-event regular Toon resembling a blob ink. He possesses an active ability of 60 seconds that allows him to summon a decoy of himself. Said ability costs 10 Tapes per use. However, tor every additional (alive) Blot there is in a run, the Tapes cost increases by 10.

Blot x Tapes is a ship that's not exactly popular but isn't a rarepair either. Since Blot requires Tapes in order to perform his active ability, fan content may depict him fighting and/or competing for Tapes with other Toons who have active abilities that also requires Tapes to perform, A.K.A Teagan and Sprout.
Its main rivals are Sprout x Tapes, Dandy x Tapes, as well as Teagan x Tapes. However, all four ships are sometimes all paired up together, creating the poly ship Dandy x Sprout x Teagan x Blot x Tapes. This pair is often shipped alongside Rodger x Research.
