BoKuro is the slash ship between Kōtarō Bokuto and Tetsurō Kuroo from the Haikyu!! fandom.
Canon
Bokuto is the ace/wing spiker at Fukurodani while Kuroo is a middle blocker at Nekoma. Both characters are 3rd years and also the captains for their teams. Throughout the series, these two have a strong friendship. They are often teasing one another. But when they face each other during matches, they become competitive.
We first see the two during the Tokyo training camp. In Gym 3 both of them are trying to get Tsukishima to practice with them. During the practice, when Kuroo blocks Bokuto's spike. Kuroo cheers while Bokuto gets annoyed. The next day, after Kuroo teaches Tsukishima, Kuroo tells him he should be able to "shut this owl up" while Bokuto pulls faces at him, showing their banter side.
The next time we see the pair is in the OVA: Land vs Air. In the OVA we see the semi-final match between Nekoma and Fukurodani. Again, then Bokuto goes for a line shot, he gets blocked by Kuroo, as he and Kenma swapped places. Kuroo tells Bokuto that he should get the spotlight once in a while, making Bokuto irritated and telling Kuroo that it was only one block. The two don't have a lot of screen time together, but their friendship is defiantly loud and funny.
Fanon
Though BoKuro isn't the most popular ship for both characters as most fans ship them as friends instead of romantically. In the fandom they're seen as best friends. Although most people see them as just friends, they still have a big number of fans while still being considered a rare-pair by most fans. One topic in fanwork is using cats and owls, due to the characters' teams. Another topic is that the characters are in college/employed, living with each other since both are 3rd years, meaning they'll soon be going to college. It's rivaled by BokuAka and KuroKen, though it can be shipped along with AkaKen. Some ship all 4 together, making BokuAkaKuroKen. On AO3, BoKuro is currently the thirteenth most written ship under the Haikyu!! tag.
