Boeymae is the het ship between Boey and Mae from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
Mae and Boey are two playable characters in Fire Emblem Gaiden and it's remake Fire Emblem Echoes Shadow of Valentia. Both are born in a island in southeastern Zofia and meet as children. In a priory they meet Celica with who they became close friend. Many years later when Celica decide to go on a quest to the temple of the goddess Mila, Mae and Boey decided to go with her. During the numerous fights they will be able to have support conversations.
In their first support, Mae explains to Boey that even though they trained to fight with magic in order to protect Celica, she feels weird when she uses her magic to hurt people. Boey answers that he don't feel the same since he knew that he would have to do it. Mae express that he almost sounded like an adult. In their second support Boey ask to Mae if she don't want to fight and assures that she can talk to him. Mae answers that she love fighting since it permit her to pratice what she learned and she like to help Celica, she explain that the last time she just said was she was thinking, she was surprised to fight real life people. In they third support Mae says that she prefere a quiet life on the island and ask to Boey how he feel about that. Boey answers that he also want to return to their home since his family is waiting for him. Then Boey imply that he will always follow Mae wich surprises her.
After the war Boey and Mae return to Zofia. If one of them die the other will fell into depression and dedicate their life to help others at the priory. If they both survive they return together to the priory and latter wed. They have many children. The two bickere endlessly but couldn't be happier.

Boeymae is a popular het pairing for both characters with only Celimae as a major rival. It's popularity can be explain by it's canonicity and the fact that Mae and Boey share many screentime during the main story of Celica's adventure. It's often shipped alongside the other canon pairings of the game: Celicalm, Gray x Clair, Clive x Mathilda and Tatiana x Zeke. In fanfiction they are often a side couple. Since the Remake is more popular than the original most fanworks show the remake version of Mae and Boey. In fanarts they are often together.
