Bombickel is the slash ship between Bomby and Nickel from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.
Canon[]
After Book confuses a Yoyle metaled Coiny for Nickel, Bomby helps Nickel prank Book by making it look like he has arms. Although shocking Coiny, Book does not fall for it and Nickel laughs it off. Later during the challenge, Bomby listens to Nickel when told not to get distracted by the spaceships in the factory they plan on sleeping on. Bomby and Coiny explain to Nickel how a cloud formed inside the building they're staying at. When Nickel asks the team if their dehumidifier pipe is suppose to move, Bomby answers no and urges his team to help pull it back.
When Bomby is painted purple as a prize for getting the most likes at Cake at Stake, Nickel admires the new look and calls him a cute little yoyleberry. Bomby growls at the description and tells him not to say that.
When Yellow Face knocks Bomby off the Eiffel Tower for being purple, Nickel rebukes him for it until realizing that it caused their team to get ahead of the others. He later asks the Puffball Speaker Box if there's a recovery center on the tower so he can recover Bomby, calling him his friend. Failing to move the crank, he and Spongy work together to bring Bomby back and greet him upon his recovery. Nickel works together with Spongy and Needle to continuously throw Bomby at the tower to paint it purple and recover him each time afterwards.
In the charades contest, Nickel correctly guesses Bomby's gesture of putting on a sweater. The two later end up sharing laughs at each others' gestures with Pin and Needle as they continue to advance in the challenge. However, when Nickel is given the prompt to immitate Nonexisty, Bomby is confused on why he's standing blankly.
Bomby and Nickel share a banana snorkle, eventually they share only one banana snorkle, but ends up drowning both of them.
The two end up on the same team again for The Power of Two on Just Not.
Because of Bomby telling the team he's found items behind a desk, Nickel thinks it could be Dream Island. Bomby instead pulls up with some garbage, although Nickel still finds it amazing.
Nickel is frustrated that Pillow caused the end of their multi-week long campaign of Goiky's Dragons by exploding Bomby against his will. He scolds Pillow and tells her to let Bomby play. Later in the challenge, Nickel stops Pillow as she is about to ignite Bomby. Nickel instructs him to do what he needs to do to heal the dragon, saying he trusts him.
When Nickel gets kicked by Needle, Bomby tells her to back off and calls Nickel his buddy. Bomby then fights Needle for this.
Bomby sadly stares at Nickel's elimination.

The ship has garnered a following especially on platforms such as Twitter, TikTok and Tumblr. The two being teammates on two different seasons and their friendship as a result have gotten fans of either two to support the ship. Along with this, moments such as Nickel calling Bomby a yoyleberry and Bomby defending Nickel from Needle have been used to support the pairing. Fan art of the two often depict them being sweet towards one another, romantical or not. The ship is rivaled by other pairings involving the two such as Bombaily (Bomby x Naily) and Bookel (Book x Nickel).
