Bookfries is the het ship between Book and Fries from the Battle for Dream Island fandom.

Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know[]
When Book ends up being selected to join the season, she happily states this to Fries who is disgusted by the sight of her cover. Book slaps Fries and takes one of his fries to eat, which provokes Fries and causes him to do the same with one of Book's pages. However, he quickly dislikes the taste of paper and awkwardly spits it back out, which Book angrily shoves back inside herself. During team forming, the two become members of Team No-Name after all of the season newbies switch over to the team.
Get Digging[]
After Book fails to convince Coiny not to force Teardrop off of their team, she complains to Fries about the fact he did it anyways. However, Fries is indifferent about it since Teardrop was not much of a leader to him.

Spore Day[]
During the birdhouse challenge, The Stars members Book and Pin get into an argument over stealing a shrink ray between Pencil or Coiny, members of The Hearts. When Nickel suggests stealing from Fries instead, Book and Pin agree that they can do that. After Nickel fails to do so, Pin calls for an ambush against The Hearts and Book throws Pin onto Fries.
Later, after Fries is flung away and Coiny and Book fight over the shrink ray, Book gets a hold of the shrink ray only for Fries to make his landing by smacking book onto the ground. Book, Fries, Coiny, and Pin brawl over grasp of the shrink ray until they accidentally shrink the birdhouse with it. While Pin and Book are distraught by the fact, Coiny and Fries run off after they swipe the shrink ray from Book. Later after Coiny and Fries shrink themselves in the water droplet the birdhouse is in, Book witnesses Fries get lead poisoning to Coiny's concern. When the remaining contestants are all inside and unable to get in the birdhouse because of the lead poisoning, Pin orders Book to shrink Fries using her shrink ray. Fries tries to block her shots using other contestants until Book's third shot hits and shrinks Fries.

In the trinket challenge while Fries is digging underground, Book is inside the FreeSmart SuperVan as the van travels underground. The van approaches Fries and Book is concerned about running him over, though from up close she does not recognize him because of the algae turning him glowing and blue. Book looks up information about the species and decides to run it over with the van. However, Fries unintentionally sends the van flying upwards while he is trying to dig.
Start the Shift[]
While Book is continuously having to make deals with shopkeepers, the last one asks her for some fries. Book remarks that she actually is able to get some and she runs off to go get Fries. She sees Fries and Needle run off to Yoyle City as she follows behind the two. Eventually when Fries and Needle stop to look on top of a tree, Book snatches Fries and runs off with him back to the superstore. While Fries is indifferent about it, Needle decides to run after Book to retrieve her teammate.

Coiny and Pin emerge from underground and the two chase Book as well because Fries has their yoylite. While Coiny, Pin, and Needle yell that they need Fries for the challenge, Fries appreciates not needing anything since he is already immune, relaxing as Book continues to take him to the superstore. Book shortly afterwards makes it to the superstore and gives Fries to the first shopkeeper in exchange for a glass of lemonade.
Airplanes in the Night Sky[]
At the next Cake at Stake, Fries interrupts Book to eagerly ask if he won the prize voting again, which he did not. In the sky lighting challenge, Fries and Book both go for the radio tower first, with Needle following behind them. Fries overhears Book talking to Needle about catching up to him, angering him as he throws one of his Fries at Book. Book tries to throw one of her pages at him in retaliation but misses, which Fries laughs at her for. After Fries makes it to the top and activates his first beacon, he realizes Book is close behind. To prevent her from getting to the top, he jumps down and smacks her to the ground.
Later, after Book is back on the radio tower and sees Tennis Ball, Fries, and Pin approaching her, she detaches the tower's ladder and knocks it over. The ladder ends up hitting and splitting Fries in half which Book feels bad about. Later while Coiny and Fries get into an argument at the watchtower, the two see Book flying above them and agree to sabotage Book's beacon at the radio tower. Coiny uses a fry from Fries to deactivate Book's light from a distance. Later when Needle and Fries are stuck on the watchtower, Book offers them a ride with her wings. Needle is glad to get some help while Fries blinds Book with a beacon to get her to go away. Needle yells at Fries for rejecting the offer while Fries thinks that it was funny to do so.

After Tennis Ball recovers Book and Fries with the help of the "Hand-powered Recovery Center", Book informs Fries how she just had experienced the most horrifying and excruciating death ever. Fries replies back in disgust that he had forgotten how abhorrently nauseating her cover once again is, which causes Book as a reaction to kick him in the shin. Fries jumps around on one leg and yells how badly this hurt and that no one has ever been in more pain than him in this very moment.

Fanon[]
Bookfries is a rarepair in the Battle for Dream Island fandom. The pairing mainly emerged during the BFDIA revival era which had the two interact more frequently as they become some of the final remaining contestants of the season.
Early episodes also suggested an idea of Book briefly wanting to befriend Fries given her first interactions of the show were towards him, as pointed out by shippers. Though, most fan posts revolve around their later interactions of the season and drawing comparisons between the two.
Even with them frequently not getting along in the show, fans of the two often enjoy their dynamic either way.
