The Power of Two[]
Pillow suddenly started picking up Book and flipping through her pages. When she is put down, Book realizes that it was Pillow picking her up and says that she would appreciate if she didn't suddenly read her like that. Pillow states that she wasn't reading her and she was just looking at the pictures. Book then says that they should find a team to join, saying that she doesn't want to be picked last. Pillow then makes a cat face, as it pans to Naily's team, Just Not. Book and Pillow then join Just Not, with Book saying "Oh. Oh, this is great!". Later, Pillow mimics Book while she speaks.
When stacking blocks, Pillow starts to walk away from the team. Book asks Pillow where is she going, and Pillow replies that she doesn't usually know. Book asks what does that mean, but Pillow is gone. Book then says "Uaah. Is this something I'll have to get used to?".
When Nickel says that Pillow, Price Tag, and Naily have been gone for a long time, Book says to him that he shouldn't be like that and she's sure they have their reasons. Nickel asks how does she know that and did anyone tell her. Book nervously says no, but she says there's no way all of them have no reasons. Nickel says that Pillow didn't have a reason, and Cake says that Price Tag didn't have a reason either and they just got up and left, and Nickel says that Naily wasn't even there to begin with. Book says that they don't have all the information and they could be stuck in some kind of ball, and says that usually when she doesn't know where someone is, they're in some kind of ball, typically a colorful and sugary one.
For their attraction, Pillow suggests shredding Book. A mildly concerned expression appears on Book's face as he looks at her. Book asks Pillow if they're just collecting garbage, but Pillow corrects her, saying they're taking garbage, a jawbreaker, and batteries.
As Yellow Face runs over Nickel with his roller coaster car, Book asks Pillow where Nickel went. Pillow responds that Nickel had enquired about the Yoyle Chess rules.
After losing a competition, Pillow begins to question her method of killing people to gain good luck. Book suggests that she should try researching other ways to get good luck, such as doing a good deed, to which Pillow replies "Yuck! Fine..." before helping Price Tag put their piece of the moon onto the roof as they weren't able to reach it. Two responds positively to this and tells Pillow that she's safe from elimination. Book says that perhaps doing a good deed worked, before Pillow threw up fluff on her and fell over on the ground. Book then helps her put her piece of the moon on the roof.
When trapped in Book's nightmare, Pillow calls Price Tag and Bomby "My acid test dummy and my explosion machine," then adds "no picture book though," referring to Book. Upon realizing Book isn't there, Pillow is the one to suggest and initiate searching for her. They later find Book by freeing her from a jawbreaker, Book then realizes that her nightmare was about being all alone rather than facing her ex-friends. Despite Two informing them that their team had already lost, Pillow suggests they try Book's idea of doing a good deed again. Pillow is the one to figure out that Book's nightmare is about her being all alone after losing most of her friends in the past, forcing Price Tag to go say hi to her.
Moments[]
- The plate that Book was holding is swiped by Pillow, shattering it.
- During Cake at Stake, Pillow throws Book off the hotel.
- Pillow fills Book's pages with a different definition of the word gravity during the challenge.
- Book asks Pillow if she can do anything to stop Puffball when it bites Nickel. Pillow assures her not to worry before lighting Bomby on fire and hurling him at Puffball.
- Pillow says Book's cover would make great armor for the zombie infestation.
- Pillow is seen with pieces of Book's cover glued on her, implying that she killed Book by ripping her.
- When trying to find new ways to get good luck for her team, Pillow thinks licking may be a solution, so she runs up to Book and licks her.
Fanon[]
Book became hated because of her past actions in BFB, so almost everyone declined her request to form a team with them. Pillow was the only one who wanted to form a team with her, and soon they together joined Just Not. Because of this, Booklow quickly became popular, despite their little interactions. It is both Book's and Pillow's most popular ship. The pairing is commonly rivaled by Tacobook and Booktag.
On AO3, Booklow currently has 50+ works, and is the most written ship for both Book and Pillow.
