Prologue[]
Boruto and Sarada are childhood friends, as their parents stayed close with their childhood friends. Both Boruto and Sarada got to know the respective parents and their children. Boruto and Sarada got to know each other through their parents and grew up very close. At some point during there childhood, When they were young, Boruto would often accompany Sarada when she was alone.
Naruto Chapter 700[]
After Shino dismissed class, Sarada overhears Boruto wanting to do a prank. When Boruto was walking around the village, Sarada secretly followed him and watched him from afar. Sarada would later see Boruto defacing the Hokage rock and him having a word with his father and later with Konohamaru. She later came home telling her mother that boys are stupid, making Sakura nervously ask about Boruto. Sarada later smirks as says that Boruto resembles her a little. A statement when it came to their fathers.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations[]
Academy Arc[]
On the day of the Academy entrance ceremony, Boruto missed his name being called because he was on a Thunder Rail train. When he finally arrived, the train crashed into the Hokage Rock. Sarada silently watched him. After Boruto’s two-week suspension, he and Denki bumped into Sarada and Chōchō at the Academy gate. Sarada annoyed Boruto by calling Denki's father stupid. In class, Sarada ignored Boruto while others talked about him. Chōchō asked Sarada about knowing Boruto, but Sarada denied it, saying their parents were friends. During Boruto's fight with Iwabee, Sarada grew concerned but tried to hide it. When Boruto won, everyone, including Sarada, was surprised by his use of Earth Release. The class was later scolded by Anko for skipping class, which improved the class atmosphere. During a lesson on summoning, Boruto failed to summon an animal, and Sarada called him an idiot. Sarada told Boruto not to cause trouble, leading to an argument between them. Later, they both wanted the last yakisoba bun, leading to another argument. During a boys vs. girls competition, Sarada's team won after Boruto used a Summoning Jutsu, surprising everyone. Sarada thanked Boruto for saving Chōchō. When the school was destroyed, Sarada and Shikadai talked to Boruto. Mitsuki, a new transfer student from the Hidden Sound Village, impressed everyone with his abilities. During an art class, they discovered Magire, a stalker, liked Sumire. Boruto and others confronted Magire, and after a fight, he apologized. One night, Boruto saw a poster of Kagemasa and noticed a possessed figure. Sarada, seeing Boruto act strange, asked what was wrong. Boruto explained about the shadow only he could see. Sarada believed him, and together they took down the possessed figure. They later discussed their mission. During workplace experience, Boruto saw a shadow around a construction worker. Sarada saved Boruto from a metal pole, calling him stupid. They discovered the worker was possessed. Sarada threw a smoke bomb to help Boruto. Afterward, they split up to deliver mail. When Sumire and others were hospitalized, Boruto apologized for not protecting them. Sarada dragged him out of the room. Weeks later, Sumire turned herself in, and the class formed new three-man teams. Sarada asked about Sumire, and Boruto listened to her conversation. During practical training, Sarada was in charge, and Boruto asked her about Shino’s whereabouts. Sarada didn't know and heard him mumbling about Sumire.
Run, Sarada![]
During a water-walking lesson, Boruto watched as Sarada and the others struggled to stand on the water's surface. Later, after buying vegetables, Sarada saw Boruto, Shikadai, Inojin, and Denki jumping off the roof of a train. Boruto greeted her, and Sarada suspected they were up to no good. Boruto explained they were taking Denki fishing and invited Sarada to join, but she declined, needing to get home for dinner. She advised them to ride the train normally to avoid injuries. Boruto called her uptight, and Sarada retorted that she didn't need to try roof-riding to know it was dangerous. After Sarada accidentally left a package with a stuffed animal on the train, she considered retrieving it by running across rooftops but thought better of it. Missing the train, she eventually jumped onto its roof, admitting it felt great. Shikadai briefly spotted her, but Sarada hid, annoyed that Boruto and his friends were on the same train. Boruto and the others didn't believe Sarada would roof-ride and wanted to catch her to tease her. They found her footprints but couldn't catch her. Sarada retrieved her package and saw Boruto fishing. As she watched, she fell into the water but managed to throw the package to Chōchō. Boruto, thinking she was a big fish, was surprised when she emerged from the water. Sarada, dripping wet, claimed she was just taking a swim because it was hot, intimidating Boruto's friends, who quickly agreed they had no problem with that.
Sarada Uchiha Arc[]
One day Sarada watches Boruto vandalizing his father’s face on the Hokage Rock from afar. After ran landed somewhere in the village, Sarada found where he was. Saying that idiots don’t give up. Boruto not wanting her to give away her location shushes her and hides in a manhole. After Sarada was asked where Boruto was and misled him in a different direction. Boruto came out of his hiding place saying he should be thanking her. And later saying that getting upset for graffiti over a Great Stone Face is nothing to worry about. Sarada believed that he wanted him to come after him and it was the only way for Boruto to get his father to give him more attention. Boruto denies this saying that he was only “playing tag” with him and that he was trying to break the record since the last time they played. After Boruto was caught by Shikamaru’s Shadow Paralysis Jutsu, Sarada watched the conversation between Boruto and Shikamaru.
At the gates of the village after Boruto was told sorry and was about to go home with his father’s lunch. Sarada asked if she wanted her to deliver the lunch box for him. Sarada told Boruto that she and Chōchō were getting ready to leave for a trip and that she could take that to Lord Seventh. Boruto said no and told her that she was giving it back to his mother. Sarada later grabbed his shoulder and told him that she would deliver the lunch box continuing to offer her request. Boruto tried to pull away saying no thanks, and telling her to mind her own business. Sarada tells Bourto that he knows the person who will deliver it and tells him that she is qualified to deliver it. Sarada promised that she’d deliver it and wouldn’t let the lunch that his mother made go to waste, later begging him to trust him. Boruto asks why it is important for her, and Sarada tells him that lunch isn’t about the food in it and is really about the person who made it for someone. After Shikamaru told them where Naruto was going and told Boruto to let her give it to her. Boruto finally decides to give it to her, Sarada promising that she will give it to him. After giving her the lunch box, Boruto watches Sarada and Chōchō leave the village for Sarada to deliver the lunch box to his father then later comments that she is weird.
After meeting her father after, him being away for a long time and having her mother kidnapped. At Orochimaru’s hideout, she falsely believed that Karin was her real mother after doing a DNA test. Naruto mentioned Boruto when he was telling Sarada that everyone in the village is family to the Hokage.
After Sarada awakened her Sharingan met her father and rescued her mother. The next when Sarada was at the academy, Boruto thanked her for delivering the lunch box. Sarada thanked him for helping him realize her goal shocking Boruto that she wants to become Hokage.
One day in the Training Hall, after Sarada hit multiple bullseyes with her shurikens, she told her friends she wanted to become Hokage. Boruto teased her, reminding her she used to make fun of ninjas. Sarada replied she decided not to be childish anymore. Boruto said becoming Hokage was fine, but she should master a skill besides throwing shurikens. Using her Sharingan, Sarada copied Boruto’s Shadow Clone Jutsu. When Boruto and his clone threw shurikens, accidentally hitting Iwabee and Metal, Sarada sarcastically praised him. Boruto claimed it was skill, but she said it was luck. Mitsuki commented they made a nice duo, making both blush and deny it.
When Chōchō almost revealed Sarada's Sharingan, Sarada stopped her, planning to master it to prove herself to Boruto. Later, while training with Chōchō, Sarada fainted and was saved by Konohamaru. He shared his dream of becoming Hokage and mentioned that it would be tough with her and Boruto. Sarada was surprised, thinking Boruto wasn’t interested, but Konohamaru explained that Boruto was frustrated by being seen only as the Hokage’s son. Sarada decided she would help change his attitude.
Watching the Great Stone Faces, Sarada saw Boruto about to deface them. She threw a pebble to get his attention and confronted him. They fought, with Sarada using her Sharingan and copying Boruto’s moves. Exhausted, Boruto tricked her with a clone and defaced the Hokage Rock. Sarada called him a coward, but Boruto accepted it. Sarada cut the rope Boruto was hanging from, and he used a Sexy Jutsu to embarrass her. Mitsuki, watching, still thought they made a good duo. Later, Sarada could be heard yelling Boruto’s name.
Naruto Gaiden The Seventh Hokage[]
While at the academy during class, Shino displayed a Shinobi Forehead Protector. As it was coming close to the week of their Academy's Graduation Exam. While Naruto had a shadow clone train Boruto, he tried to prolong their trying together they were seen by Sarada, she later found Boruto were she expressed to him that fools never learn. Boruto asks her to not tell his father anything via shushing while hiding in a sidewalk sign. When Naruto caught up to her he asked Sarada if she'd seen Boruto but she pointed him in another direction. After deceiving Naruto, Boruto came out of his hiding spot thanking her as it was a while since they played tag, and couldn't afford to let himself get caught. Sarada was going to tell him something but was cut off by Shikamaru who appeared with Shikadai, Boruto was later caught by Shikamaru using his Shadow Imitation Technique surprising both of them.
When Sarada decided to meet her father by following Naruto, at the gate she saw Boruto who failed to bring Naruto the lunch that Hinata made for him. This gave Sarada an excuse to follow Naruto and came out of her hiding spot from behind a tree where she volunteered to deliver lunch to him. Sarada gives Boruto an excuse for why she's leaving the village as she claims to be going on a girl's trip with Chōchō and volunteers to deliver the lunch box to him. Boruto didn't want to give Sarada the lunch box as he wanted to bring it back home and tell his mom that he didn't want to deliver the bento box to his dad. Sarada places her hand on Boruto's shoulder declaring that she'll deliver it but Boruto says to her not to worry about it as she slaps her hand off his shoulder. Boruto also tells her to not make a big deal about it and to stop worrying about it. Sarada rebuffs and tells him that he's supposed to be the one delivering it but since there's no chance of him losing his way if she were in his shoes she'd gladly hand the delivery herself. Sarada tells Boruto the value of the lunch box when it's made for someone. Boruto reluctantly decides to give the lunch box to Sarada who promises to deliver it to him. Boruto would later see Sarada departing from the village to go catch up with Naruto.
Later while trying to catch up to Naruto, Sarada and Chōchō are stopped by someone calling himself Shin Uchiha, after Naruto battled Shin, Sarada delivers the lunch box to Naruto telling him it's from Boruto.
After the battle with Shin and his clones, and the rescue of Sakura after they return to the village. The next day at the Academy Boruto for delivering the lunch box. Sarada also tells Boruto that delivering the lunch box made her find out what she wants to do in her life and thanks Boruto, he asks what that is with Sarada replies that delivering lunchboxes to everyone inside of the village isn't a realistic goal and tells him that she decided to become the Hokage, Boruto scoffs at this calling the it weak.School Trip Arc[]
After Boruto tried to prank Iruka, he ended up tied and hanging upside down in class. Sarada called him an idiot and later nominated him as the class field trip leader, surprising him. She pointed out his energetic nature, making the class agree. Still muffled, Boruto tried to speak, so Sarada freed him with a shuriken. After class, she warned him not to embarrass them in another village. During their trip to the Hidden Mist Village, Sarada was frustrated when Boruto arrived last at the gate. On the boat, Sumire and Chōchō asked why she picked Boruto as the leader. When Boruto showed up, Sarada told him it wasn't his business. Boruto said she was too tense, while Sarada scoffed, saying he didn't take anything seriously. They argued about their goals, with Boruto saying he wasn't interested in becoming Hokage, unlike her. In the Hidden Mist Village, Boruto was bored by Mizukage Chōjūrō's speech, and Sarada discreetly tried to silence him. Later, Boruto was confused about Kagura being the next Ninja Swordsman, while Sarada wasn't surprised at his lack of interest. During sightseeing, Boruto offered Sarada grilled squid, which she reluctantly accepted, and they admired the view together. When Boruto met Shizuma, Kagura joined them. Boruto was later found injured by Sarada, who tended to his wounds. They learned Shizuma was manipulating Kagura and decided to help him. Boruto stopped Sarada from alerting their teachers, insisting they handle it themselves. Sarada reluctantly agreed to accompany him, feeling responsible for keeping an eye on him. After Shizuma's gang stole the Mist blades, Boruto and Sarada pleaded with the Mizukages for Kagura's life. Sarada was impressed by Boruto's cleverness. They then faced Shizuma's gang, and Sarada was separated from the group but saved by Boruto's jutsu. After defeating Shizuma, they rushed back for roll call, with Sarada being carried due to her injuries. Upon returning, they were summoned to Iruka's office, where their actions were revealed in a letter from Chōjūrō. They were punished with detention and painting the roof. Sarada criticized Boruto for not coming clean, and they argued before completing their punishment. Later, Sarada overheard Boruto searching for Water Cinnamon Sweet for Himawari and directed him to a shop, making him promise not to ask how she knew about it.
The Super Beast Scroll Slump![]
After Inojin lost the ability to use the Super Beast Imitating Drawing, Sai was a guest lecturer, and during Art class, both Sarada and Boruto were seen sitting far apart from each other. At the Training Hall, Shino decides on a three-man team battle, both Boruto and Sarada are seen standing far apart from each other. When Himawari was made a guest lecturer, both Boruto and Sarada were seen sitting across from each other at the same table.
The Last Day at the Ninja Academy![]
In the Novel, Mitsuki went to visit all of his classmates to seek advice for writing his graduation essay from the academy. Mitsuki finds Sarada and Chōchō at a cafe and asks them on what they would be writing about in their essays. Mitsuki tried to ask Sarada but Chōchō interrupts and suggests that Sarada‘s topic might mostly revolve around Boruto. This caused Sarada to all flustered and stutter and tries to regard the subject. Mitsuki noted that Sarada’s tone always changes when it comes to Boruto, however Mitsuki decided to keep it to himself.
Graduation Exams Arc[]
After Boruto received a long lecture from Shino, he ran to his class, where Sarada told him not to be so loud and mentioned that their friends might have gone home since graduation was coming soon. Boruto didn't see what was special about graduating, and Sarada commented on how easy it must be for him not to have worries. Boruto, confused, said that friendship should be eternal, but Sarada replied that he might be the only one who believes that. Seeing his friends busy and training, Boruto remembered Sarada's words and arranged a camping trip with his friends. Sarada agreed to go when Boruto asked. At home, Sarada’s mother, Sakura, noticed she wasn’t excited and asked if something happened. Sarada said Boruto was just being stupid and asked her mother about eternal friendship. Sakura advised Sarada to apologize if she mistreated Boruto, which Sarada denied.
At the camping site, they prepared for their trip and went fishing, but they didn’t catch anything. That night, everyone enjoyed Iwabee’s curry and discussed how they had changed. Boruto sat alone, thinking. Sarada and Sumire followed him when he went fishing again. Sarada asked if what she said was still bothering him, and Boruto admitted it was. Sarada apologized, and Boruto noted it was unusual for her. They argued a bit but eventually worked together to catch the eternal carp with help from their friends. The next day, during parent-teacher conferences, Boruto was interviewed by Kakashi in disguise. In class, Boruto asked Sarada about Namida and Wasabi. Sarada explained Namida’s family issues and reluctance to become a shinobi. Boruto reminded Sarada of her goal to become Hokage, encouraging her to help her friends. Sarada thanked Boruto and resolved to assist Namida and Wasabi. As the graduation exams approached, Boruto and Sarada worked together during the practical exam. They used clever strategies to overcome their teachers and passed the exam despite not getting the bell. They all received their forehead protectors, standing next to each other, tired but proud of their achievement.
Formation of the Three-Man Squad[]
At the Academy, Boruto wanted to team up with Shikadai, but Sarada reminded him that the sensei decide the teams. She said she’d hate to be on a team with Boruto because he acts without a plan. When Boruto stepped closer, Sarada told him he was too close and spitting on her. During the class, Iwabee bumped into Boruto, knocking him into Sarada and almost making them kiss, which led to an argument. Shino announced the teams, and Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki were assigned to Team 3. Sarada acknowledged Boruto’s skills but doubted their compatibility. Boruto said he didn’t want to be on the same team as her if she couldn’t handle unpredictability. Boruto and Sarada went to Konohamaru to appeal their team assignment. Sarada tried to avoid Boruto by throwing a paper bomb. They both reached the Hokage’s office roof, where Shikamaru used his Shadow Paralysis on them. They requested not to be on the same team, but Shikamaru said the Hokage was out. In the forest, they searched for the Hokage. Boruto suggested a truce, and Mitsuki arrived with Naruto’s schedule. They learned the Hokage’s location and set off. They were stopped by Mirai, who wouldn’t let them pass. Sarada came up with a plan, and Boruto agreed. They tried to fight Mirai, but she was too strong. Sarada analyzed the situation with her Sharingan but couldn’t find a weakness. Boruto reminded her of their goal, and they argued. Mitsuki pointed out that they were canceling each other’s strengths. Realizing they needed to sync better, Sarada suggested playing it by ear. They fought Mirai again, using teamwork to overwhelm her. Konohamaru praised them for their cooperation. When asked if she still wanted to change teams, Sarada reconsidered. Boruto said he’d be happy to be on her team. They went to Naruto, who promoted their team to Team 7.
The Path Lit by the Full Moon[]
Sarada complains to Mitsuki that Boruto is late which Mitsuki noted that she’s quite hard on him. Sarada asked Mitsuki what he likes that makes him happy but only to find out it’s the same thing that Boruto does. After Mitsuki finishes reminiscing about his past, Boruto arrived, and Sarada reminds him that he’s late. Boruto apologizes and tells them that he ran into a lost kid but Sarada doesn’t believe him and thinks he lying. This causes them to argue with each other. They were both shocked when hearing that Mitsuki didn’t care if Boruto was telling the truth or not. He also told both of them that he trusts them. A statement that both of them look at each other in confusion. They both later left alongside Mitsuki to the Hokage’s office. Boruto meets up with his team at the Hokage’s office. They are assigned their first mission, and Sarada listens as Boruto confidently says it will be easy, only for his father to remind him that no mission is easy. As they head out, Sarada asks Boruto not to do anything reckless that could harm her chances of becoming Hokage. They argue, and Mitsuki comments on how well they get along. During their mission briefing, Konohamaru emphasizes the importance of teamwork. Sarada urges Boruto to pay attention, pointing out that he’s the most reckless. They get startled by a boar but proceed to the Green Banks, where they meet the new village head, Kiri. Both Boruto and Sarada are annoyed by Kiri's comments, but Konohamaru assures her of their skills.
Kiri explains the village's problems with rogue shinobi. Boruto and Sarada decide to convince Konohamaru to let them complete the mission despite the danger. They witness a villager being killed and Boruto fights the rogue shinobi, ignoring Sarada’s warning. Later, Sarada tends to Boruto’s injuries, teasing him for acting tough. They learn the shinobi want the deed to the bridge. While spying from a tree, they see a house set on fire. Boruto rushes off to save someone, and Sarada reminds him of their sensei's orders. They discover the villagers are under genjutsu and plan to use Mitsuki's Wind Release to break it. After freeing the villagers, they notice Kiri is missing. Kiri is kidnapped, and Sarada bandages Boruto's injury, teasing him again. They plan to rescue Kiri, with Konohamaru fighting the rogue shinobi. They save Kiri and set traps. Sarada compares Boruto to Kiri’s father, much to his annoyance. During the fight with Ashimaru, they use teamwork to defeat him, and Sarada lands a powerful punch. After returning Kiri to the village, she thanks them for teaching her the importance of teamwork. Sarada mocks Boruto’s pride, but they return home, and Konohamaru thanks them for their hard work. The next day, Sarada listens as Boruto exaggerates their mission, remarking that he is too much. On another mission, they capture a runaway pet, and Boruto complains about the boring tasks. Sarada explains the importance of all missions. Boruto requests a flashier mission but is scolded by Konohamaru. Sarada emphasizes serving the village and scolds Boruto for his childishness. They receive a mission to stop a bank robbery. Sarada reminds Boruto to respect Kōtarō Fūma, the police force captain. Inside the bank, Boruto handles the situation with Haguruma, a desperate man affected by stress. Afterward, Boruto's perspective changes, and he values the importance of even the less glamorous missions. Sarada teases him about his change of heart, leading to their usual bickering.
Byakuya Gang Arc[]
Team 7 arrives at the bank and learns from Kōtarō and Konohamaru that the hostage situation was a distraction and the vault was emptied by the Byakuya Gang, a group of thieves who call themselves Noble Thieves. At Lightning Burger, they discuss the gang, and Boruto insists that stealing is wrong, while Shikadai suggests the gang might have reasons behind their actions. Sarada discovers a frozen flower outside the vault, indicating the use of Ice Release, a rare Kekkei Genkai from the Land of Snow. Boruto realizes the thief could lower their body temperature to enter the vault.
Sarada wants to inform Kōtarō, but Boruto argues that doing so would upgrade the mission to B rank, beyond their Genin status. They decide to act on their own. Boruto suggests they seek help from Katasuke, an old acquaintance of his dad who does research and gifts Boruto new games. Katasuke explains the mechanics of Ice Release and takes them to a wall where secret messages are exchanged, suggesting they disguise themselves as buyers for the stolen jewels. The next day, they disguise themselves and meet with the thief, who sets off an explosive tag. They follow the thief, noticing frozen footprints leading to a village on the mountainside. The thief traps them with ice and reveals that the stolen jewels were used to fix the village's damaged water system. After being freed from the ice, they try to pursue him, but Boruto decides to stop.
All teams were summonsed in front of the Police Force to ask their help to capture the Byakuya Gang. But as they were Genin they were told to search and track and report to a Chūnin or a Jonin and that they were not to fight or pursuit them. Also, both Boruto is seen standing in front of Sarada and Sarada are seen standing behind him. Team 5, 7, 10, and 15 all gather together and Boruto and Sarada are standing next to each other and the group was talking about what they should do if Byakuya Gang attacks them since they can’t pursuit them first. Sarada is seen looking at Boruto when Iwabee asked Boruto if they could attack them first and possibly get the chance to capture them. The next day at Lightning Burger Team 5,7, and 10 were trying to cheer up Denki as his team were suspended and were discussing the gang, their merits, and their methods. As Boruto wanted to capture them, Sarada pointed out only Chūnin or Jonin can capture them, and because of their Genin ranks, they can only report and track them. Later Boruto said that he going to deal with a real-life problem and Sarada asked about his real-life problem and tells them that he blew through his allowance and couldn’t buy video games. Sarada asked if he was going to borrow from Katasuke and Sarada asked if he was going to see him again. But Boruto told them that he’s got a ton of games.
At Lightning Burger, Boruto came to his friends to see if they heard the news. Sarada pointed outside from a window that the protest is getting bigger. And all concluded that they couldn’t fight Byakuya Gang and an angry mob of people. As the protest on the KaminarCompany, all of the Genin expect Team 5 assembled at the Police Station. At an alleyway, Boruto question the place they were and thought that not any of the Byakuya Gang or protesters are going to be there. Sarada told him that they were still on a mission and that they have to stay alert. Later they noticed Shikadai passing by, Boruto went to follow Team 10 making Sarada wonder where he was going. But Boruto said that he had to go, and Sarada said he could not leave his post. But Mitsuki told her that his Boruto’s instincts must have picked up something. As the protest was happening Sarada was not to blame her if they get yelled at.
The Genin Documentary[]
After Team 5 made a documentary video at Lightning Burger, Sarada looked at Boruto as he’s questioning that they put his father in the documentary and complains that they should have been in the documentary and that they should have been in the documentary.
Wasabi and Namida[]
At the Hokage’s Office, Boruto and Sarada are arguing with each other about them being late. Sarada blames Boruto for losing the map, they later see Sumire and greet her and talk to her. Boruto told Sumire that they got back from finishing a mission but Sarada brings up that Boruto made them take longer than it had to. Boruto told Sarada that he was sorry but Sarada said kind of. Sumire laughed and told them that they get along so well. Making Boruto and Sarada ask why, but Sumire pointed out that moment and Mitsuki nodded.
Naruto Shinden: Parent and Child Day Arc[]
During the new Konohagakure holiday, both Boruto and Sarada decide to go train together at that time. At the apartment, Sarada told her mother that she promises to help Boruto with Shuriken training. Sasuke came back to the village, Boruto told him about the new holiday and that he told him where Sarada was at the training grounds. Sasuke would later arrive at the training grounds and tell Sarada that it was Boruto who told him where she was which surprised her, this causes her to almost blush. After Sasuke was struggling to connect with Sarada, back at the training grounds Boruto noticed that Sarada was by herself when he asked this Sarada replied that her dad didn’t know who she is, and that very thing he tried to connect with her didn’t work. Boruto asked if she understands him either which confused her. Boruto notes that it’s a family day that she should be upfront and tell him she wants to do with him. Boruto believes that Sasuke wants to spend time with her. After Sasuke successfully connected with Sarada, while walking home Sarda saw Boruto. As things tired fine, Sarada owns Boruto one, she giggles when Boruto says be grateful. Sarada would later give Boruto his advice for Boruto’s father. Boruto thanked Sarada after he said he had nothing to worry about.

Sarada tries to console Boruto about Naruto's absence
After a mission, Boruto talked about how easy it was since they were just guarding someone’s pet. Sarada reminded him that not all missions would be that simple. Boruto brushed it off and suggested the team go out to eat, asking Sarada what she wanted. He wanted to go to Lightning Burger, but Sarada wasn’t too excited about that. While deciding, Boruto overheard some Genin gossiping about them, which annoyed him. Outside, Sarada told him not to let it bother him, but Boruto said it wasn’t about them—it was because people always judge him for being the Hokage’s son. He ran off, and Sarada asked if they were still getting burgers, but Boruto had lost his appetite.
Boruto then had a flashback to his birthday. Sarada and Sakura came to wish him a happy birthday, and Boruto was surprised that Sarada came. She asked if he was disappointed, teasing him a little. When Sakura asked where Naruto was, Hinata said he’d be home soon, and Sarada asked if that was good news. Boruto, frustrated, said he didn’t care if his father came home or not. Later, during the party, Boruto became upset when Naruto didn’t show up after receiving a phone call. He went up to his room to sulk, and Sarada followed him. She guessed Naruto was busy, but Boruto angrily responded that his father had blown off his birthday.
Boruto: Naruto the Movie[]
Team 7 was assigned to capture a Kuma Panda (that takes the appearance of a bear), Boruto shows up and declares the animal as a Panda, but Sarada argues saying that it is a bear. Due to them being childhood friends and rivals, and she is always watching him, Boruto feels the need to look good in front of Sarada. Sarada attempts to move in to capture the animal but Boruto gets in Sarada's way as he uses Shadow Clones to capture the panda. Sarada is angry that Boruto got in her way, but Mitsuki tells her to leave everything to him as because Boruto is the son of the Seventh Hokage and the grandson of the Fourth Hokage he might become the next Hokage which Sarada angrily replies that she'll be Hokage. The kids would later witness Konhamaru use the Kote to capture the bear using the Shadow Imitation Technique which he later explains how the kote works and uses it to create a Rasengan which leaves them in awe. Later in the Hokage's office where they report to Naruto, where she witnesses that Naruto insists that Boruto show address him as "Seventh" rather than "Dad" in his office and bout the mission and the lecture on the importance of teamwork. she would witness Boruto as he angrily tells Naruto that he focuses more on his Hokage duties than his family and Boruto's warning to him to be at Himawari's birthday party. The group is later met with Katasuke who enters the Hokage's office and later leaves. Sarada would later witness Boruto leaving the office after he told Naruto that their not in the "lame era" that Naruto grew up in.
In Thunder Burger, Sarada and Mitsuki show up at Boruto's table and inform him that Konhamaru sent them the application for the Chūnin Exams. But Boruto wasn't interested in attending the Exams and told Sarada told to find someone else who cares. Sarada becomes angry and tells him that her dream becomes Hokage and that he is keeping her from getting closer to her dream. Boruto states that he doesn't plan to participate in the Exams because he doesn't want to be Hokage and tells Sarada that if she plans to be Hokage, she better be alone for the rest of her life or else it would cause problems to be the people around her were she remind silent. Later realizing that Borut is just upset at his father for spending less time with him Sarada tries to cheer him up by suggesting that they enter Exams to show off their skills to impress Naruto which Boruto would later agree. Boruto asks Sarada if her dad would come to watch her enter the Exams, but Sarada doubts it. Mitsuki would talk about how he heard from his parent that Sasuke can fight equally with Naruto. Before they could ask about who his parent is, Hinata and Himawari arrive to pick up Boruto and prepare for Himawari's birthday.

Chōchō Arc[]
After Chōchō used Butterfly Mode to make herself slimmer. Before meeting at Hokage’s office. Boruto and Mitsuki were walking their way they were talking about the upcoming mission of guarding an actor. After arriving Sarada brings him for being late. And told him that they were supposed to be at the meeting place on time. Boruto did not recognize Chōchō and said that it was here who they were guarding. Sarada was seen in the background not believing the fact that he didn’t recognize her, even when Chōchō berates him. The four walked together to the Hokage’s office. Team 7 was assigned to guard Ashina, but they were only being her servants. Both were shocked when Ashina was sent hate mail, but she brushed it off. When the studio went under attack by a masked bomber, the two confronted the masked bomber, and when he used a smokescreen after it was revealed to be a clone.
After the incident and with the injury to one of the actresses, After making Chōchō the replacement. After finishing the filming, it was revealed that Ashina was soon leaving the show, Boruto said that something was going on and that he was getting a weird vibe. Sarada agreed and responded that she can be difficult and heartful. As the members of team 7 and Chōchō went to enjoy some food. Boruto and Sarada can be seen enjoying some baked goods.
The Other Side of Anxiety[]
When Team 5 was tasked to escort a plate that was a national treasure. They returned with the plate broken since Metal got nervous and dropped it. Both Boruto and Sarada were shocked as Metal started wearing a necklace that supposedly cures anxiety and was incredulous to hear the reason why he was wearing it. After Metal faced his father and opened The Gate of Opening the First Inner Gate, one of the Eight Inner gates. Team 5 went to see what was their next assigned mission, both Sarada and Boruto were surprised to see that he no longer had the necklace. And was confused when he did say that the anxious him his genuine him, which confuses them.

Sarada thought that he was wasting money that they got from doing missions to buy cards and considered them to be childish. As Chōchō asked Sarada to eat a new set of desserts at the cafe, Boruto would consider them the same way. After Shino and Rock Lee were put on an X Card, Sarada asked if they were buying more cards.
Team 25[]
Both Boruto and Sarada and other Genin or Shinobis teamed up together to deal with a bomb threat sent through the mail. Boruto and Sarada were paired up together to disarm the bombs. At the post office where Team 25 where assigned they went their as one of the packages were disguised as a bomb. They would later disarm the device, they would explain to Team 25 about the the bomber and the packages and how they disarmed the bombs. They would later leave the post office and both are seen with the two running together.
Konohamaru’s Love Arc[]
Boruto, Sarada, and Chōchō were at the cinema watching a romance movie, Boruto and Sarada were seen sitting next to each other while watching the movie. After watching the movie, Sarada was annoyed by the fact that Boruto thought it was an action movie and didn't understand romance. Sarada would watch as Boruto ran away.
After Boruto lost some of his memories, Sarada confronted him and asked what he did that made their sensei Konohamaru be put under house arrest. Boruto was surprised by this and told Sarada that he didn't do any and told her to ask him. But she couldn't because he was under arrest. Later Team 7 went to Lightning Burger and was surprised that Boruto didn't know that they released a new burger. After Boruto ate the burger and started to regain some of his memories. Boruto would tell them that he felt like he ate the burger before. Sarada was confused by this.

At some point in the past, past Sakura found future Sasuke's note from Sarada and she tried to ask Boruto about it. Boruto recognized it to be a note from Sarada to her father.

When Sumire's transfer to the Scientific Ninja Tools department was confirmed, Sarada decided to have a farewell party with their class and she gave Boruto one of their classmates an invite. During preparatiosn for the party at Thunder Burger they discussed about Sumire's replacement name Tsubaki Kurogane a samurai from the Land of Iron and later would discuss the topic about Samurais. Later the class would meet Tsubaki in Thunder Burger. Later the class would have their farewell party of Sumire at their class saying their farewells to Sumire. Giving her gifts and signing their signatures on a card.
Hiashi's Birthday[]
As Hiashi's birthday is approaching Boruto trying figure out what gift he should give to his grandfather, Boruto discussing this with Team 7 at Thunder Burger. Boruto is trying to figure out what he should give to his grandfather for a gift by asking what is he known for liking something. But Sarada replies that should be something he should know being that he's his grandson. Sarada would later see Boruto and Mitsuki leave as Boruto is still trying to figure out what he should give as a gift. Later after Hiashi's birthday while Team 7 is walking to Boruto's house Sarada asked if Boruto figured out of what gift he should give to his grandfather and if it worked out to which Boruto said it did. Later at the front gate of Boruto's house they would later witness Boruto being doted on by Hiashi.

Mujina Bandits Arc[]
After defeating Momoshiki, Boruto befriends a wealthy young boy whom he is assigned to protect but uncovers a kidnapping plot. Because he is scheduled to go on a mission with his teammates, Boruto goes to Sarada's house as she practices shuriken in her room. Boruto tells her that he can't go in the mission because of something more important. Although he doesn't tell her what it's about, Sarada understands it is something he has to do and assures him that she and Mitsuki will handle the mission. When Boruto leaves, Sarada is amazed of the change in Boruto's personality.
Sarada and Mitsuki arrive to save Boruto from being attacked by bandits but is worried about leaving them alone on the mission they were assigned. Sarada tells Boruto to buy her a sandwich and coffee and she will forgive him. The next day, Naruto assigns Team Konohamaru to escort Katasuke Tōno to deliver a mechanical hand to a client. Boruto is unhappy because he is still angry at Katasuke for tricking him into using a Kote in the Chunin Exams and refuses to go on the mission. Sarada asks him if he means it but when he repeats his disdain for Katasuke's technology, Sarada says she is going for the Hokage's sake. Mitsuki asks Boruto if he really wants Sarada to go on the mission alone after he vowed to protect her and be her support when she becomes Hokage. Boruto changes his mind and agrees to go.

Sarada goes visit Boruto at the hospital but it turned out he had already been discharged. Boruto asks her if she came to visit him, and says she does have a nice side, teasing her. Sarada blushes embarrassed and tells him of course she’d come visit him.
Boruto was about to get hit by Deepa’s cubes, Sarada doesn’t think twice, shouts his name, runs until she’s in front of him and uses herself as a shield, concentrating her chakra in both of her arms in order to receive the impact. While she is protecting him, she unlocks the second tomoe. She also warned him that he would lose his arm if he did another Compression Rasengan, after doing transfer chakra along with Mitsuki they turned Boruto's Compression Rasengan into a Super Compression Rasengan.
Blockade the A-Un Gate![]
After the defeating Deepa Team 7 was hanging out with Team 10 and 15. They would later spot Denki walking by but he didn't even notice them. Later while walking they notice Denki carrying heavy equipment. They would help Denki and the rest of Team 5 with his hot air balloon for his expirencement for wireless radio.
Ao Arc[]
Upon reaching meeting Akita, Sumire tells Sarada that Akita seems to have taken a liking to Boruto. Sarada dismisses it because Boruto is easily able to make friends. Sumire then asks Sarada if it bothers her if girls like Boruto, in which Sarada responds by saying it doesn't. Sumire then states that it bothers her, which surprises Sarada, and makes her have a nervous look at the end.
As Boruto attacked Ao using the genin's Chakra Blade against him, Ao summon his Mirror Drones which knocked out Konohamaru who blocked the attack on Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki moved Konohamaru to safety, while Boruto fended off Ao. As he seemingly defeated, Sarada tried to help, but Mitsuki pulled her back from getting hit by the drone's attacks.
Boruto later subconsciously uses his Karma Seal to save Konohamaru from Kashin’s flames and passes out. Sarada rushes to Boruto’s aid and tries to protect him from Kashin, who praises Boruto for being able to use his new power for the first time. Sarada demands to know what happened to Boruto and is about to attack him before Mitsuki prevents her. Sarada in this scene lost completely her usual composure in battle, we’ve never seen her act like this when another teammate that isn’t Boruto is hurt or in danger. Sarada then carries Boruto when he wakes up, he keeps saying he’s okay but she insists to carry him.

Chūnin Re-Examination Arc[]
After the defeat of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Naruto decided to resume the Chūnin Exams. Team 7 participated in the exams, they take the first round of the the exams. While seeing if they qualify for the second round they see that they passed, Team 7 would pass the first round. Boruto teases Sarada that she was studying all night, but she deines it. Boruto is excided the fact that they passed but Sarada casses him now that their going to become rivals for the next round to test their technical skills. Before the second stage of the exam, they are congradulate for passing the first round, while Sai, Shikamaru, and Naruto explain about Scientific Ninja Tools and that the Chūnin Examins are a way to calm very one who are uneasy by Isshiki's attack, Boruto and Sarada are seen standing next to each other. Later that next for the second round they met where the second round will be held. While explaining on what they will have to do to pass the second round they were told that their wasn't going to be a third round. After Kaito's chummy act with Boruto, Sarada tells him to concentrate on passing the exams. They would later enter the Forest of Death for the second round. During the start of the exams they would later split up to search for subordinate. With time running out Sarada askes about Boruto but Mitsuki would tell her he wasn't their. They would later see Boruto but time ran out, Sarada would ask Boruto of what took so long Boruto replied that he got a little distracted which she remarks that he's a good person. Later the when Mogei was announce on the participants who passed, despite Boruto not arriving on time he still passes due to him not abandoning an injured ally, which Sarada remarks that he was incredibly lucky. Despite their being no third round they were told of the final test. Were they are told that the final test will be a one-on-one battle where they might have to fight each other.
During Kawaki's time of test to become a genin, Team 7 was assigned a mission to deliver cattle to a farm later suspecting two shinbois during a mission. Boruto and Sarada decide follow them while Mitsuki carries out their mission. Boruto and Sarada discovered deaths that connected to the Land of Clam Seas in the Land of Fire. They decided to reinforce Team 10, they followed the pair of shinobis and came across Shikadai and Chōchō.

The Ultimate Recipe[]
At Thunderburger Boruto and Sarada were hanging out with Inojin and Chōchō where they disscussed about their mission in the Hidden Mist. They would later talk about Team 10 and Shikadai. Later after the mission with Team 10 helping Jingo Kumano a former missing-nin who became a Ramen chef in his quest to make the perfect ramen. The next morning Team 7 and Team 10 went to Jingo's ramen store but the place was busy.
A Wound That Never Heals[]
Team 7 was assigned a mission to investigate attacks of Wind Release users victims that are former shinobis in the village. They later found another victim with slashed clothing. When Boruto brought up that he hear a rumor that the attackers may be weasels but Sarada said that the attackers were humans. The next day Team 7 and Kōtarō go over the incident to learn that it's a repeat of all the other incidents. While walking, Sarada agreed with Boruto about being tired. Mitsuki would mention that he hasn't seen Mikazuki in a while ever since their mission in the Hidden Mist. They would later go take a nap. During night patrol they went on look out for the attackers, when Mitsuki went after them he later tells his team that the attackers escaped. The next day Team 7 speak with Kōtarō about the Wind-Release victim and the masked attackers. Team 7 would go out for patrol again and discover that a Shopkeeper named Daizen Matsushige would be the next targets of the masked attackers. They would make their way to Daizen's grocey store. They would discovered that the masked attackers are a pair siblings named Kodama and Hibiki. When Hibiki told them that Daizen had a scar on his chest, but he would reveal to have no scar. But Mikazuki scratched of the prosthetic covering revealing the ruse. They would all witness Mitsuki taking down Daizen. The next day at the gate Team 7 would discuss that Daizen was going to commite the same crimes he did in pervious villages and was going to continue them in the Leaf village. They woul see the siblings leave the village as they were banished due to their attacks.
Kawaki & Himawari Academy Arc[]
Because Kawaki was attending to the Academy (as a secret mission to named a princess Kae Yukiwari), Team 7 will be assigned and will be completing mission without him while he's in the academy.
Team 7 was asked to be special instructors at the academy for Kawaki and Himawari's class. When they appear in Himawarki and Kawaki's class their classmates were delighted to see Team 7 except for Kawaki. At the training hall they demostrated their jutsus. Sarada would later yell at Boruto and Kawaki as the two would later get into a fight. Later after Team 7 demostrated their jutsus all of Himawari and Kawaki's classmates wanted to ask them to be their teachers. Boruto would later arrive with Lightning Burgers which Team 7 was going to be used for a simulated mission where the class will have to fight over with an empty stomach. They would later receive a red rubber ball which was going to the person who has the burger that the students will have to fight over, they wer also allowed to use ninjutsu but if they left the Academy grounds they would be disqualified. They would later begin the mission, Team 7 along with Hana Kaka would watch the students fight over the ball. They would later recieve news from Himawari that the students were fighting over a candy bar, they would later arrive with the hamburgers to resolve the conflict but they denied it. The next day Sarada scolds Boruto about the exercise, but he wanted them to leave the problem to him as he wanted to resolve the problem. They would later witness Ehō Norimaki and Soul Tao continue to argue with each each other on Extreme: Shinobi Picture Scrolls of the cards of Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze and a Sharingan Mode Kakashi Hatake of which one is more rarer. Kawaki would later reconciling them over Taiyaki, but it didn't work. The next day they would later witness Hana making the two reconcile over a cherry blossom viewing party, later they were asked by Shino if they wanted to be special instructions again but Boruto decline the inviation.
The Academy hosts a school festival, Team 5, 7, 10, and 15 attend the festival. Boruto, Sarada, Shikadai, Inojin, and Tsubaki collect prizes and a booth they later collect all the prizes. Later the main event of the festival was soon about to begin, in the training hall Boruto and Sarada were seen sitting next to each other. Before the play started they heard a loud noise that was later to be revealed to be an explosion. At the teacher’s lounge while the teachers were discussing about the attack the former students of the Academy showed up wanting to help as the academy held a lot of memories for them to which everyone nodded in agreement. Team 5, 7, 10, and 15 along with the teachers went searching for the bombs finding them all around the academy they would remove them from their location but their were so many that that they found them one by one. Sarada was worried for the students but Boruto wasn't as he believe that they would be fine because they had Kawaki.
Labyrinth Game Arc[]
Sarada gets annoyed when she hears that her father was taking Boruto with him to get a new messenger hawk as the current hawk he uses is going to retire soon.
Boruto asks Sasuke if Sarada knows that he's on another long trip, he says that she'll understand.
After Boruto and Sasuke got a new hawk, Sasuke sent Sarada a letter letting her know that he and Boruto were departing ways as Sasuke began searching for the whereabouts of Code. Five days after Boruto went missing, Sarada and Mitsuki went investigating the his whereabouts and the other passengers of the Thunder Rail Train that went missing. During the investigation, Sarada was worried for Boruto, although she denied about being worried for him when Mitsuki asked. After chasing down a train employee, they would find out the passengers became part of an experiment.
Sarada and Kawaki began to investigate a list of the other names of the passengers who were on the same train as Boruto, only to discover that there was a member of Kara who was an Outer that was on the same train with Boruto.
Team 7 continued the investigation on Boruto and the missing passengers on the Thunder Train but were stopped by the Anbu.
After Boruto had Ōga dispelled her genjutsu, Boruto used his communication device he had to contact with Team 7, he would give them his rough location and tell them that the other captives were released. Sarada would yell at Boruto for wandering off.
Code's Assault Arc[]
After rescuing Naruto and defeating Isshiki Ōtsutsuki returned home. Boruto was suspended and was put off from missions that also included team 7. Both Boruto and Sarada along with their friends were worried about his future. After some discussion in team 7, Kawaki got behind Sarada and was about to attack her, but Boruto intervened and stopped him from hurting her. Sarada watched as Boruto and Kawaki placed a bet and the two battled each other for the bet on which training method was better. Sarada and Mitsuki would watch as Boruto and Kawaki fought each other. They would see Boruto beat Kawaki due to Kawaki instinctively trying to absorb Boruto's jutsu but loses to battle due to Kawaki losing the Kāma. In the anime they would also see Kawaki's foreheadprotector being destroyed due to Kawaki trying to absorb Boruto's ninjutsu. Boruto had won the battle thereby winning the bet.
Omnipotence Arc[]
After Boruto was killed and resurrected through Momoshiki’s Kāma. Sarada and Mitsuki were checking on Boruto’s scar, Sarada was close to Boruto checking on the triangular seal on his chest asking him it doesn’t hurt or anything and Boruto told her to watch her hand, Boruto told them that he was fine. Boruto told them a lie about Code killing him as he wasn’t allowed to them the truth by Shikamaru. Unable to tell the truth, Boruto claims that it was probably that he couldn’t control himself and went too far. Sarada noted that since Boruto is a complete Ōtsutsuki he would be a target for Code. Boruto agreed but he stated that he doesn’t know where Code was hiding but vowed to not let him escape again. Sarada stated that Boruto need to be careful as he could be attacked when he was alone which Sasuke agreed. The two would see the arrival of Sasuke and would tell team 7 that Code wasn’t going to stop to remove his limiters and that Boruto and Kawaki were not his only targets.
Later during the time when Sasuke was talking to Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki were watching them from afar while watching she wondered what they were talking about. She would reveal that she was shocked and revealed about Boruto when she heard that he survived. Despite her relief, she started to feel angry that she couldn't help him but she states that it wasn't his fault. She would later ask Mitsuki if they were just undependable. She later said that she wants to be able to help him more, followed up by her saying that she's maybe mad at herself to which Mitsuki asked if she likes Boruto. This caught her off guard wondering where that came from, when Mitsuki asked if she didn't she didn't admit to it. She would later express her annoyance that her father was spending so much with Boruto when he was her father first.
After Boruto spoke with Momoshiki's spirit, Sarada and Mitsuki arrived at Boruto's house and witness Boruto vowing that he would decide his own fate, making Sarada bewildered by his strange behavior. They would later witness him rushing to the Hokage's office to meet with Shikamaru for the mission.
Before entering the Hokage's office to recieve instrucitons for the mission. They disscussed that their team was the only one to be assigned this mission and that it must be big since it's their first mission in a while. In the office they met Kawaki and Sumire, they would have some small talk with her. While learn what their miision is Boruto and Sarada were seen standing next to each other. Shikamaru would debief the current situation of Konha as Boruto and Kawaki were Ōtsutsukis that could pose a threat to the village. They would learn about Amado had survived his encouterment with Code and now has his limiters removed. Boruto and Sarada first thought their mission was to take down Code using Boruto and Kawaki's Ōtsutsuki powers, Shikamaru denies, he informs them that Code appeared in Konoha with a woman named "Ada". Shikamaru would inform them about Ada's ability to enchant people, despite this information Shikamaru also informed them that there was a flaw in her ability as Ōtsutsuki don't have any effect to her ability making Boruto and Kawaki immune to her ability. Although Sarada believe that her mission was to take down Ada, Shikamaru would deny this. Boruto and Sarada would complain to Shikamaru about their mission, Shikamaru would also reveal that Ada had originally arrived in the village to help Code, but they later learn that Ada had cut ties with Code. They would learn that Code his own his own despite regaining his full power, they would later learn that Ada is coming to Konoha. Shikamaru reveals that anyone who opposes Ada would be powerless due to her abilities and that she doesn't follow anyone's order. They would learn that Ada could take down the entire world if she wanted to. They were to avoid making enemies with her, and that their mission is to cohabitate with her. Konohamaru woul later inform them that Boruto and Kawaki would be cohabitating with Ada shocking Boruto and Sarada. Their mission was to supervise Ada inside of Konoha within a house for Team 7 to monitor as they don't want to make enemies out of her due to a spefic fact. They would later learn that Ada likes Kawaki shocking both Boruto and Sarada. They would hear Sumire's guess that Ada wants to experience ordinary romance. Shikamaru would also them that they shouldn't say anything bad about her as she has another ability to hear and see everything that allows her to see any event in time. Shikamaru would inform to Sarada and Mitsuki that they were to supervise Boruto and Kawaki while their supervising Ada, they would later expect the mission given to them. Later while in the Hokage's office the spirit of Momoshiki stood between Boruto and Sarada, but she couldn't see or sense his presence. Both Boruto and Sarada would look at Kawaki questioning him on the matter.
Team 7 begins their mission to cohabitate with Ada, they got two houses that they were going to use for the mission, one for Boruto and Kawaki to share with Ada and another for Sarada, Mitsuki, and Konohamaru to montor Ada. Team 10 also arrived curious about their mission. Later Ada would arrive to the house that she would be sharing with Boruto and Kawaki, upon her arrival Inojin, Chōchō, and Mitsuki would fall under her enchantment ability. Boruto, Kawaki, Sarada, and Shikadai would not fall under her enchantment ability due to Boruto and Kawaki being Ōtsutsuki and Sarada and Shikadai due to them not clearly looking at her face.
With Amado revealing his intentions, Team 7 would learn about Ada and Daemon's abilities, for Daemon it's to enchant people regardless of their gender with the exception of blood relatives and Ōtsutsuki and her left eye that is called a Senrigan that allows her to see anything currently happening in the world and see past events up to her birth but only 16 years, her brother Daemon can reflect all attacks as long as he's has physical contact with someone and the dangers the ability is with killing intent. Amado would reveal the abilities that Ada and Daemon abilities were transplanted DNA that came from "Shibai Ōtsutsuki", he would reveal that he longer exists in the living world, he would go on to remind them on how Ōtsutsuki use chakra fruits that had absorbed life on a planet to evolve themselves. He would explain that Shibai has done this repeatly for several millennia by repeatedly consuming several Chakra Fruits and resurrecting through Kāma that he later ascended into godhood. He explains that Shibai could generate storms with a wave of his hand and summon lightning bolts with an angry roar having the ability that was neither Ninjutsu or Senjutsu by using an ability called "Shinjutsu", he would reveal that Ada, Demon, and Code's Clawmarks are in that ability he would also include that the abilities of Sukunahikoka and Daikouten that Kawaki inherited from Isshiki from his Kāma includes this. Amadao would point out that ninjutsu was merely an attempt to replicate Shinjutsu. Boruto would later hear of how Sarada was offened that ninjutsu was inferior to Shinjutsu. Amado would later reveal that Shibai after obtaining godhood left his physical body to ascend into a higher dimension. Amado would go on to explain that the Ōtsutsuki could potential make the impossible, possible like bring back his daughter who died 12 year ago named "Akebi" who died from a unknown disease, Amado revealed after her death he created a clone of her but she wasn't the same Akebi he knew as the clone had a different personalty but had her memories and gave up trying to make clones of her, and later how he met Jigen (who is really Isshiki). Amado reveals that he wants to use Kawaki's Kāma to bring back his daughter using the mechanism of resurrection, he reveals that he has Akebi's data in Kawaki's Kāma so that he can implant a Kāma on Akebi's clone to revive her. During the time Shikamaru asked Ada to look into the past of his daughter's death, Boruto had began to commuicate with the thoughts of Momoshiki's spirit, Boruto suddenly has a vision of his friends and Konoha-nin in the near future.
After Bourto saw the future, as Naruto and Shikamaru ask Amado about his goals to bring back his daughter, they were told that she will pose no danger to Konoha by Ada. Amado further explains that he has no goals to takeover the world as he's not a shinboi. He explains to it was no anyone's business to know why he kept the plain to bring back his daughter since nobody could help him with his plans. They would all hear of how Kawaki used to hate the Kāma seal as he cause it to be the reason to be his suffering but now he hates the Ōtsutsuki as they are the reason why he and Naruto had to suffer. They would hear as Kawaki asks Amado if reviving his daughter would make her a new Ōtsutsuki or now but the latter didn't know. And would listen as it's his only option as he cries. Ada would call it a day as she makes up an excuse that she's tired. The next daya Ada would ask Sarada and Sumire to come over to the house as she wanted more girls in the place she also invinted Shikadai. But as soon as they came to the place Shikadai immediately came under Ada's charm ability and was forced to leave. Ada wanted to talk to Sarada and Sumire. While Sarada, Sumire, and Ada went to another room, Boruto wondered if they'll be ok. While Sarda, Sumire, and Ada had their girl talk, Ada asked Sarada on what she thinks about Boruto causing her to blush, but she didn't answer.
When Kawaki was having a commotion with Boruto to try and get Momoshiki to reveal himself, Sarada tried to get Kawaki to release Boruto. They would later see Kawaki leave the house stating that he had a minor errand. Boruto would later watch Ada take Sarada and Sumire on a shopping trip. Later at a store, Boruto would watch Sarada, Sumire, and Ada at a shop while watching Daemon but he also felt out of place being in a girls-only world.
Later back at the house, with the dissappearance of Naruto and Hinata, Boruto and Sarada would receive a message from Shikamaru via Ino’s Mind Body Transmission Technique that Naruto and Hinata suddenly disappeared and learn that Kawaki was the culprit, Sarada would watch as Boruto runs to the scene of the crime. Ada would also reveal that Kawaki was aiming to kill Boruto again much to the confusion of Sarada. Shikamaru would reveal that Boruto asked Kawaki to kill him to protect them from the threat of Momoshiki and that Kawaki might be doing it again for the same reason. Sarada would decide to go after Boruto, recalling her learning about his death and resurrection without knowing that he was in endanger. But now knowing she just can’t stand around doing. During the battle with Kawaki and Boruto, Boruto would be surprised that Sarada appears on the battlefield to try and stop Kawaki, but he doesn’t listen and threatens that she’ll die too. Boruto tells Sarada to run as he’s not going to listen, but she doesn’t as she can’t let their fight happen as the future Hokage. Kawaki tries to kill Sarada but Boruto moves Sarada out of the way, and she would see Boruto having a slash on his eye much to her horror, but he doesn’t pay any mind to it and tells her to run as Kawaki is messing around. While Kawaki was being detained the soul of Momoshiki took over Boruto’s body and freed Kawaki telling him to get away. After that, Sarada tries to apologize to Boruto, as she believed that she was the reason for the scar on his eye. But Boruto tells her it wasn’t her fault, but it was Kawaki's to which Mitsuki agrees.
During the search for Kawaki, Sarada and Mitsuki were told by Konohamaru to take Boruto to the hostipal to get treatment. But Mitsuki decided to go after Mitsuki, Boruto would tell Sarada to go with Mitsuki. During the search for Kawaki, Ada had used her ability to change reality due to Kawaki's wish, Sarada was confused when she heard Boruto's name being the target. While searching for Boruto, Sarada tells Mitsuki that she's found Boruto. While back with Boruto, he askes what's going on, something that Sarada asks to much to both of there confusion. They see Mitsuki enter Sage Mode and attack Boruto, much to Sarada's confusion. While running away, Momoshiki explains Ada's love charm revealing it to be "Omnipotence", and that Ōtsutsukis are immune and he also tells him that also Sarada is for some reason immune to the Omnipotence.
While Shikamaru asked Ada to confirm that Boruto had "killed" Naruto, Kawaki forcefully made her confirm that Boruto "killed" Naruto. After hearing the news from Shikamaru, this had make Sarada fall to her knees leaving her confused and in horror. During which, Sasuke who's been affected by Ada's Omnipotence, tells her of Mitsuki's reaction of what happened to Naruto and Hinata and how Boruto almost killed Kawaki, he tells her that he's gonna deal with Boruto. After Sumire had tells Sarada, of what happend and what Ada did to save Kawaki, Sumire tells Sarada that they are the only two who haven't been effect by Ada's Omnipotence, making them the only two who can help Boruto. Question why this is happening to Boruto, Sarada pleads to her father to save Boruto as he's innocent, but he tells her that he has no prejudices for Boruto and couldn't care less of him being an outsider, but couldn't ignore the fact the he "tried to kill Kawaki". Sarada pleads for him to save Boruto, awakening her Mangekyō Sharingan in the process. After being saved by Sasuke, he tells Boruto that he saved him because of his daughter and that he trusts her. As Ada appears where Boruto and Sasuke were, and before leaving the village Boruto asks Ada to thank Sarada for sending Sasuke his way. Back in the forest, Sarada wishes for Boruto and Sasuke to be safe.
- Erased Possible Future
During the fight with Koji Kashin with Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, Koji awakened his Shinjutsu ability allowing him to see a potential future on the day that Kawaki sealed Naruto and Hinata in the Daikokuten dimension, Boruto and Sarada were killed by Kawaki, as Sarada was trying to defend Boruto. But this potential future was avoided and erased as Boruto and Sarada's fates were changed.
Boruto Blank Period[]
After Boruto and Sasuke left the village having to be on the run, with everyone believing Naruto and Hinata to be dead, and with Omnipotence switching the lives of Boruto and Kawaki. Sarada and Sumire would learn from Ada about Omnipotence that Boruto had told Ada. Sarada would get and wear the same type of jacket that Boruto wears from a clothing store that he shopped at. Shikamaru would later become Hokage and have both Boruto and Sasuke be branded as criminals and have a kill on sight order. Sarada who is one of the two people who were non-Ōtsutsukis or shared blood with Ada or Daemon was unaffected by Omnipotence and retained her memories about Boruto, and because she knew that Boruto is the real son of Naruto and Hinata she repeatedly argued with Shikamaru about Boruto's innocences. Sarada and Sumire would also try repeatedly speak with Ada trying to see if she could undo the casting of Omnipotence. As Sarada wanted to return everything back to normal, she even passed a photo of the Uzumaki family of Naruto holding a young Boruto instead of Kawaki, but due to Omnipotence people dismissed this insisted that Kawaki is Naruto's son relying in their false memories by Omnipotence.
After leaving the village, Sasuke telling Boruto recalling when Sarada told him of the time before Sarada awkaned her Mangekyō Sharingan, telling him that for him Sarada's Mangekyō was the proof that he needed to he can trust what she saying. Sasuke believes that Sarada seem to be unaware of the awakening of her Mangekyō Sharingan that in time she'll awaken it and will be able to intuitively understand how to use it.
One year after leaving the village, Sasuke tells Boruto that he understands why Sarada asked him to help Boruto. As he believes that something that is going on and that only Boruto and Sarada could deal with it. After battling Code, Sasuke tells Boruto to run and to watch over Sarada as he's leaving her to him.
Sometime after Sasuke was bitten by a Claw Grime and was sealed in a tree, Boruto was found by Koji Kashin where he tells him about his Shinjutsu ability he awakened from Shibai Ōtsutsuki, "Ten Directions" the ability to see the future as well as potential futures. One of which where he explains that he saw a future where on the day that Naruto and Hinata were sealed in the Daikokuten dimension, he and Sarada were killed by Kawaki while Sarada was trying to defend Boruto.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex[]
Boruto's Return Arc[]
Three years would pass after Boruto and Sasuke left the village. Sarada at the Hokage office would again argue with Shikamaru about Boruto's innocence and how he's not a traitor and allow him the chance to speak. But Shikamaru and Konohamaru where not convinced. Later Sarada and Sumire would talk about the events that happened with Boruto and Kawaki and Omnipotence. Later Code begins his assault on Konoha, Code asks Sarada where was Boruto, but she tells him that he had left the village three years ago. Code would reveal that two years ago Code had begun pursuing Boruto, but had given up and decided to attack Konoha to draw out Boruto so that he could visit his former friends. Code wanted Sarada to scream loud enough so that Boruto would hear. With Code trying to attack Sarada, Boruto then appears stomping on Code's face, saving Sarada and she is shocked to see Boruto. With Boruto and Code having a conversation, although surprised to see him, Sarada notices Boruto's demeanor when he threatens Code. Sarada would try to speak with Boruto but he cuts her off saying that there were people who needed help who didn't make it. He tells her that they'll talk later but he tells her to survive without making any eye contact with her.
After Code's attack on the village and had retreated, while Kawaki was talking with Shikamaru, Kawaki was trying to insist that Boruto was a threat, but Sarada would interrupt them, Sarada would argue with Kawaki, and notes of Boruto protecting the village and how he knows something about the Claw Grimes. Sarada notes that Boruto and Code are enemies to each other and that Konoha should work with Boruto to stop Code. Later after Sumire listen to Amado revealing having his memories being tampered with. Sarada and Sumire would meet up they discuss of how Amado became aware of his memory was rewritten based on physical evidence when everyone insists that Kawaki is Naruto's son even shown a photo with Boruto in it, as they believed in there own memories than physical evidence. Boruto would appear in front of them, Boruto would them that even though Sasuke had doubted his memories to save his life and hers, Sarada would run into Boruto immediately hugging him, with Sarada telling Boruto he's late while calling him "stupid Boruto", Boruto hugs her back and with Boruto softly declaring that he is finally home.
Later at the park while sitting, Sarada embarrassed by her outburst of emotion as she suddenly hugged Boruto, she is unsure of what to ask Boruto first. Sumire would break the ice, Boruto is relieved that they're both doing okay. Although Sumire, was worried if Boruto for staying around the village. Boruto would explain that he's suppressing his chakra, only Kawaki should eventually notice him, giving him a little time. Boruto would reveal to them that Sasuke was absorbed by the Ten-Tails, blaming himself so that he could get away. Boruto explains that the usual cycle of the Ten-Tails, is to turn into a God Tree after consuming an Ōtsutsuki, but something changed. Speculating the reason that the God Trees already evolved is because of the Claw Grime. Boruto theorizes that although Code isn't an Ōtsutsuki, but his Kāma is an aspect of Isshiki's chakra. Later Boruto's conversation was cut short due to Shikamaru telepathically contacting him and with Mitsuki trying to attack him. Boruto would jump into the air and fly into the sky, he promises Sarada to rescue everyone who was turned into trees and retreats, before telling her he'll be back.
Later after Boruto and Mitsuki's fight, with the village being invaded again. The sensory unit would reveal to Sarada, Sumire, Himawari, and Team 10 that one of the intruder had a chakra signature that matches Sasuke's. But Sarada remembers her conversation with Boruto that Sasuke was absorbed into the tree. With the attack of the Human God Trees in the village of Konoha, both Boruto and Sarada would find out that their target is Himawari. Later, during the battle with the Human God Trees, as Sarada was battling the Claw Grime that resembles Sasuke she was subdued, proceeding to consume her only to be thwarted by Boruto's sudden arrival due to him teleporting to a marker that he has a toad hold. Arriving to the marker after saving Himawari. At Sarada's location, Boruto slices the God Tree that was trying to consume Sarada, saving her in the process, preventing her from being absorbing into the god tree like her father did.
After saving Boruto arrives to save Sarada and the other Konoha ninjas. As Konohamaru chasity Boruto, Sarada would tell off Konohamaru. Having known about the foe's target is Sarada, she asks if it has anything to do with her father being turned into a tree, Boruto would reveal that there foe came to be using Sasuke's chakra source but not to be concern with that or hold back but to focus on taking him down to save Sasuke. As more Claw Grimes arrive, Boruto and Sarada would team up to fight the Claw Grimes. In the battle, Boruto would save Sarada from Sasuke's Claw Grime clone, using the Flying Thunder God Technique and the Rasengan causing Sasuke's Claw Grime clone to retreat and heal itself. After Sasuke's Claw Grime clone heals itself it reappers to set up more Claw Marks to use to sneak up on Boruto and Sarada. Sarada would ask Boruto to fly up into the sky while she draws him out on the ground for him to hit him with a another Rasengan when appears. But Boruto declines planning to use Rasengan Uzuhiko at max output to kill Sasuke's Claw Grime clone in one blow. Boruto would explain the nature of Rasengan Uzuhiko, while Boruto builds up is preparing to use Uzuhiko at it's max output, Sarada would get in Sasuke's Claw Grime clone's grasps but Sarada would paralyze him using Chidori Current and throw Sasuke's Claw Grime clone to Boruto who preforms his Rasengan Uzuhiko at near max output which momentarily downed Sasuke's Claw Grime clone, but Kawaki would appeared and obliterate Sasuke's Claw Grime clone. As Boruto and Kawaki have a brief banter with each other, Boruto suddenly gets sniped bringing him down, Sarada would check up on Boruto. When Sarada tries grab the Thorn Soul Bulb that can be used to save her father, she also get sniped was well.
After Himawari woke up and used her new power to heal Sarada, intending to do the same thing to Boruto, Kawaki prevented Himawari from doing so. She watches as Boruto is restrained, planning to be taken in to custody to interrogate him for the information he has. Later after Boruto was restrained and was brought into interrogation, at the Hokage's office, she would later hear from Shikamaru that he escaped. After Shikamaru and Kankurō had telepathically spoken with each other, Shikamaru wanting to require more infomation about the Claw Grimes turning people into trees, Shikamaru would instruct Sarada and Sumire to inform him if they make any further contact with Boruto.
Matsuri and Ryū Arc[]
After Boruto's escape, Sarada along with Sumire approached Ada for help. Although having looked back the past three years Sarada and Sumire wanted to better his intentions. Although Ada said that Boruto was keeping to himself. Sarada asked help Ada to help find Boruto, although Sumire believed that Boruto had a reason for keeping away and should respect that. But Sarada stubbornly insisted on helping him. Sumire would counter that Sarada is selfish disregarding other people's feelings. Sumire sparking on how uncomfortable she was when she saw Sarada embrace Boruto in front of her. Later when out on a mission at the Land of Wind. When meeting with Araya and Yodo, Yodo would noticed how flustered Sarada was, asking if she had a crush on someone, which she would deny.
During the mission, Sarada, Mitsuki, and Konohamaru would feign befriending the God Trees under the pretense of hunting down Boruto. While in the hideout, Boruto asked Koji about what were the chances of success for Sarada, Mitsuki, and Konohamaru but his answer was vague, much to Boruto's displeasure. While following on potential whereabouts on Boruto that Sarada and Mitsuki claimed they had, they would later learn from Ryū that Jura found Boruto to be troublesome because he knows about the Thornsoul Bulbs. Sarada would make a suggestion that they use a Thornsoul Bulb to lure out Boruto. During the fight, with Ryū, While learning of the mission's progress Boruto would grow concern for his friends but Koji would forbade him from interfering.
During the battle with Ryū, demanding to know any intel about Boruto and his accomplice, Yodo demanded Sarada to tell him where Boruto is but she doesn't know. But Sarada refused to give any intel about Boruto. Yodo realizes that Sarada cares deeply for Boruto, similar to her own loyalty to Shinki. Later Yodo would reveal that she knows that Sarada is hiding a power that can help, telling her that it's okay to use something dangerous when it's to protect what you care for, causing her Mangekyō Sharingan to reawaken. Sarada would think back on her conversations with her friends and comrades about her dream of becoming Hokage and admits that Sumire's own feelings for Boruto unsettled her and has a flashback to when Sumire asked Sarada if it bothers her that other girls liked Boruto. And admitted her own feelings towards Boruto and that the reason she rejected those feelings was because she saw her own feelings as weakness because she thought she needed to ignore those things for the sake of her Hokage dream. Realizing that was wrong and that rejecting things about herself was what was suppressing her power and realized that she needed to accept everything herself starting now and uses her new found powers to destroy Ryū. Later back at Konoha, Sarada and Sumire have a talk, Sarada openly admitted that she also likes Boruto as well.
Post Matsuri and Ryū Arc[]
As Sarada and Sumrie later speak with Ada, who asked on how they intend to approach Boruto about their feelings for him, the two say that they can't tell him with his current struggles he's enduring.
Sarada as well as several other Konoha-nin who accepted Boruto as an ally through was contacted by Shikamaru through Inojin's Mind Body Transmission Formation as a part of a secret joint mission to deal with Mamushi who had come to the village for Ada. Shikamaru would go on to explain the situation of the nature of Mamushi 's Division ability.
Boruto OVA[]
Team 7 were assigned a mission about two suspicions individuals, Konohmaru showed them a picture of the two where he informed them that there are one person who looks to be a child while there's another person who's an adult. He also informs them that the shorter one was seen around the village carrying a big box. They were to uncover their activity and discover the identiy of the shorter masked individual. Boruto was given a flyer that was a promotion for three years worth of free potato chips, Sarada told him that it was a promotion that all convinted store took part in. After Boruto found the shorter individual who's been buying all of the potato chips, Sarada and Mitsuki met up with Boruto to confront the masked individual, Boruto warned them that he was a Shinobi. Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki would take part in the battle with the masked person, after the masked person expanded his arm that knocked Sarada back after punching his arm. They witness Sarada being sent back hitting a bolder. As Boruto threw another Rasengan at the masked person another masked person stepped in and redirected Boruto's Rasengan revealing himself to be Chōji, shocking them. The other masked individual would also reveal himself revealing him to be Chōbee Akimichi, Chōji's uncle and Chōchō's granduncle. Konohmaru would reveal to them it was an misunderstanding and reveal to them that while Chōji was on a mission he asked his uncle Chōbee to buy all the potato chips in the store.

This ship rivals against ships like SaraSumi, BoruMitsu, KawaSara, and BoruSumi. This ship mirrors NaruSaku and SasuNaru as they both argue with each other are compatible and work well with each other as a team. It also has some similaries to NaruHina and MinaKushi as Minato and Hinata watched Kushina and Naruto from a far. This ship also has some similarities to SasuSaku, as Sakura and Sarada would be level head until when it came to Sasuke and Boruto being harmed or endangered.
