Brave Red Warrior is the poly ship between Merida, Red and Fa Mulan from the Once Upon A Time fandom.

The Bear King[]
As Merida is about to give over her kingdom, Mulan and Red walk in, Mulan telling her not to do so. She said that they'll find the knight and the helmet, and Merida asks how. Mulan says that she brought a friend, indicating Red, who says she'll sniff him out using the bit of cloth Mulan gave her.
Red then leads her to Zelena and Arthur, who have just found the helm, which Merida shoots out of their hands. Merida asks where the man who killed her father is, and Red says that it's Arthur. Merida pulls out her own sword, and starts making her way to him, but Mulan holds her back. She says Merida will get herself killed, and that this wasn't about revenge, but finding the helm and saving Merida's people. Merida however is forced to fight Arthur to get the helm, while Mulan and Red knock out Zelena. The two escape, but Merida is able to keep the helm and return to her people.
Later, Merida thanks Red and Mulan for their help, saying how she couldn't have found the helm without them. Mulan says that without Merdia, she would still be fighting for money in taverns, and Red says if that didn't happen, then she'd still be stuck as a wolf. Mulan decides it wouldn't be honorable to keep the money, and Merida asks if she can now ask what happened to her. Mulan explains that she was getting over a broken heart, and Merida says she's sorry that happened. Red says she might not be the best at giving dating advice given that she ate her only boyfriend, Mulan agreeing with her. But she thinks that maybe if they traveled together, it might do them both some good. Mulan questions how searching for werewolves would help, but Red says it's better than wallowing in self pity. Mulan says that she doesn't wallow, which Merida scoffs at. Red says that maybe helping someone with their path will help them find theirs, and Mulan agrees to go with. Merida wishes them luck and gives them both a hug, and the two head off.

Brave Red Warrior is a rarepair in the OUAT fandom. Mostly due to the two only interacting for one episode. Those that do ship it, started to do so due to the chemistry between the three during their interactions. On AO3, there are currently 8 written works.
