Brigus is the het ship between Bria and Gus Porter from The Owl House fandom.
Canon[]
Gus first met Bria in "Through the Looking Glass Ruins", when she saved Warden Wrath's son, Braxas, from a Slitherbeast along with her friends Gavin and Agmar. Gus is amazed by the groups performance, he compliments the three and Bria tells him that it was not that easy. Gus introduces himself to the three and Bria responds introducing them before getting cut by Matt.
Gus tries to leave but Bria asks him if he has ever heard of the Galderstones and suggests for him to come with them. Gus responds saying he can't and has to help Luz, Luz tells the four that Gus can help and Matt tells the three that Gus is just an illusionist and he cannot help, Bria looks sad hearing this. Gus agrees to go with the group when Luz convinces him, Bria tells him where they're going. When Matt asks if Gus is scared, Bria quickly defends him saying that they all are. She tells Gus that they all have each other's back and winks, causing Gus to blush. Later, Gus asks what the stones do to Bria but Matt responds instead.
When Matt teases Gus and tells him to show his magic, Bria encourages him and tells him that it is a great idea. When Gus shoots the fireball, Bria is amazed and tells him that she knew it was a good idea to bring him along. Later, when Gus helps Matt, Gus is confused when they say that Matt could not handle Glandus, he asks Bria what they mean. She tells him that things work differently there and lies saying if she had a Galderstone she would change things for the better, Gus smiles and believes her lie.
Gus finds it a bit strange when Bria says she will make Angmar eat bugs the next time she sees him with playing with one. When everyone and Bria uses the Galderstones, Gus is a bit confused and realizes that the place is an illusionist graveyard. Bria tells him that he is saying that as if it is a bad thing, she makes fun of illusionists; she suggests that Gus should use the stones to power up his spells. He refuses and won't let the group take them, Bria tries to tell him that he does not know what he is saying.
When the guardian arrives, Bria pushes Gus to use his spells, not knowing he ran out. Bria sees that the guardian was just an illusionist and fights him and Gus. Gus creates an illusion and tricks Bria and her friends, he tricks Bria and she runs away.
In "Labyrinth Runners", illusions of Bria, Gavin and Angmar are seen surrounding Gus and taunting him.
Fanon[]
Before "Through the Looking Glass Ruins" aired, the ship began to gain a good amount of momentum, but when the episode did air, many fans immediately dismissed the ship, as well as Bria, though there were a good fair few that still liked the ship, regardless of the episode. Most fans dislike this ship due to the dislike of shipping victims with their bullies and Bria was very toxic and probably wouldn't change. Some fans theorize that Gus had a crush on Bria due to blushing and admired her. Many fans hoped that Bria would get redeemed and maybe get into a relationship with Gus. This ship is often compared to Boschlow due to the bully and victim dynamic. This ship is usually overshadowed by Gustholomule as even though they were enemies, they became friends at the end unlike Gus and Bria.
