Brocedes is the slash ship between drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg from the Formula 1 fandom.

Lewis and Nico have been racing each other since their teens, first being teammates for Mercedes Benz McLaren in 2000 in Formula A. Nico joined Mercedes in 2010, and Lewis followed as he joined in 2013. Coming from different backgrounds, Lewis grew up in England and Nico grew up in Monaco as he is the son of a former F1 driver. One of the notable memories throughout their childhood was when Lewis would always convince Nico to buy him sweets.
During their childhood as Lewis came from a working-class background, Nico and his father would help Lewis with his go-kart with adjustments and fixing. But as well the two would go on vacations together, Nico mentioning his favorite trip was to Greece with Lewis. Their former karting boss commented on the many moments they shared such as their mischief and constant complaining from hotel recipients due to the constant play fighting. The two would then work hard and eventually be in Formula 1. After Lewis announced his move to Mercedes from McLaren, Nico tweeted about his excitement. The two would race together as teammates from 2013 till 2016.
Their friendship officially came to an end publicly when Lewis confirmed to the media he and Nico weren’t friends. Lewis and Nico raced each other till the end of 2016 when Nico won the World’s Drivers Championship and then announced his retirement after. Lewis admitted he felt sadden about Nico’s retirement but wished him well. Although after Nico’s retirement, many fans hoped that the two have rekindled their friendship, but Lewis revealed he had no desire to be friends with Nico again. However, in a Q&A in 2018, Nico mentioned that he hopes to be friends with Lewis again.

It’s one of the most popular ships loved by fans, not only as Lewis and Nico being childhood friends but for the bromance during their time at Mercedes. But it’s also considered one of the more "tragic" ships in the fandom since it came to an end due to rivalry. There has been a comparison of other ships to Brocedes, being childhood friends and then competing in Formula 1 together such as Loscar.
