Stelle, the Trailblazer, is an artificial species created by a person who is unknown and awakened by Kafka and Silver Wolf with the essence of the Stellaron. On the other hand, Bronya is a native human of Belobog who was raised in an orphanage in the Underworld before being adopted by Cocolia in the Overworld.
It all begins when Stelle and the Astral Express Crew via Astral Express land on Jarilo-IV and then become caught in a conflict between Sampo and the Gepard-led Silvermane Guardians. Gepard attacks Stelle and her companions because he thinks they are Sampo's henchmen. However, after realizing how desperate they are, he takes them to Belobog and escorts them to the office of Cocolia, the Supreme Guardian at that point, so she can decide what to do with them.
As soon as Stelle gets to the office, she runs into Bronya, who is talking to her mother, Cocolia. Cocolia lets Bronya go as soon as she sees that Gepard is bringing Stelle and her companions. Bronya and Stelle see each other, but do not yet know each other due to Bronya ignoring her for the moment.
After spending the night at the hotel the next day, Stelle gets a bit of bad news regarding the Silvermane Guards and goes to find out.
Commander Bronya is waiting for Stelle downstairs, according to a Silvername Guardian who informs her as she heads out the hotel. When she first meets Stelle and her companions, Bronya introduces herself, but she also says that she is about to arrest her and her companions on the Supreme Guardian's instructions since they are thought to be plotting a rebellion. March manages to get Stelle, Dan Heng, and herself away from the "threat" of Bronya for a little while by hatching a plan to get past the guards and into the Fragmentum area. March believes that something is wrong with the Supreme Guardian.
But as they prepared to leave the Fragmentum area, Stelle , March, and Dan Heng were ambushed by Bronya and the Silvermane guards. With no other choice, they chose to engage in a fight with them. Even though it appeared like Bronya was going to lose the fight, March acknowledges that she is strong. But Sampo blows up the fight by throwing smoke grenades at them, knocking Dan Heng, Bronya, Stelle, and March down hard. Later, while temporarily ignoring Bronya, Stelle wakes up at a hospital and looks for everyone. However, a long time later, when everyone and Sampo get together, they discover Bronya in distress after several homeless people tried to beat her up. Seele stepped in to help to chase them away.
Bronya and Seele argue because of their different views, yet despite her resistance, Bronya went with Seele and Stelle's companions. Because she had misplaced her weapon and maybe was afraid of what Seele might do, Bronya refrained from making any further attempts to apprehend Stelle until the right opportunity presented itself. Upon seeing Oleg, Stelle shares the "unwelcome" truth about the Supreme Guardian, to which Bronya finds it insulting. Oleg chooses to speak with Bronya alone, allowing Stelle and her companions to go to the hotel.
As they prepare to check into an Underworld hotel, Bronya shows up and volunteers to watch over the entrance after she and Oleg have had a talk. But after a few hours, Stelle finds that she can't sleep because of the dreams she's been having about the Stellaron and Cocolia, so she goes for a walk outside. When Bronya hears her footsteps, she approaches her, believing that she may be an enemy. However, when she realizes that it's her, she spends their time alone to have their first talk.
Stelle and Bronya talk about their concerns in Cocolia's sudden demands as well as their own concerns. After asking her to take a walk alone for a while to help her forget their problems, she gets Stelle's permission, so she leaves March and Dan Heng to sleep at the hotel.
They quickly discover Seele and Natasha and choose to assist them. While Bronya is gathering supplies, she finds her memories of her past returning, and they quickly learn the truth about Svarog—the robot that "protects humanity", but he doesn't get along with the Wildfire and about Clara, its closest friend.
They head to Svarog's territory to fight it once they get back together with Stelle's companions. After the battle, Bronya lets Stelle tell Svarog the truth because she can feel her heart aching.
They are reunited after a while, but when Dan Heng asks about Bronya, Seele explains that she went back to the Overworld to explain why she ordered Seele to send Stelle a letter.
A while later, Seele, Stelle, and the companions went in search of Cocolia and Bronya with Serval's help. When they eventually locate them, they discover that Cocolia was preparing to destroy the world as it is and build a new one. In punishment, she calls forth an Architect Machine to put an end to everyone's plan. But once it is defeated Stelle climbs the machine to confront Cocolia directly with the assistance of Bronya and companions, but she ends up stabbed by her Icy Sword. She is instantly transported to an illusory space where she discovers Cocolia's connections to her own men concerning the Stellaron and she acquires a new Amber Sword. She challenges Cocolia for a fight, but this time Bronya and the others will help her. Bronya is heavily shocked when Cocolia uses the Stellaron to sacrifice herself when she is finally defeated.
Afterwards, Bronya's new ascension as the Fifteen Supreme Guardian was observed by the Astral Express Crew. Later, before saying goodbye to Bronya, Stelle has one more conversation with her. Following this, Stelle and her companions leave Jarilo IV. Seele and Bronya talk in a cutscene about how their future is more unknown than theirs, but they still hope for them to do well.

BronStelle is a somewhat rare pairing in the fandom. It first originated as a ship in the cutscene where Bronya has her moment with Stelle to talk about the Underworld even without March and Dan Heng noticing it at first. It is known and appreciated, but not spoken about much and frequently overshadowed by the more popular ships. It rivals Bronya's most popular ship, Bronseele and Stelle's most popular ships, Starch, KafStel, and Stellefly.
