BruWeiss is the het ship between Weiss Schnee and Bruce Wayne from the RWBY and DC Comics fandoms.

As Weiss retreated to the balcony to set away from her father and the guests from the party he was hosting during her break from Beacon Academy, she comes across (the non-canon sixteen year old Remnant counterpart of) Bruce Wayne. Who also wanted to get away from the party and wasn't too pleased to see another Schnee. Weiss wasn't happy to see him either, believing that her father was playing matchmaker in order to use her to obtain the Wayne family's money to dubious dust dynasties, and that was why he was alone on the balcony. Bruce had similar thoughts and tells Weiss of for interrupting his on his silence and also believes that the only reason he was invited was because Jacques Schnee seeks his money. Weiss was offended by this, knowing that her family has plenty of money and found it hard to believe that his family more than hers do. Along with her assuming that was why he'll never go out with a "gloomy-ne'er-do-well" socialite like her. Realising that he way have offended her and that he as wrong about Weis, Bruce offered to share the hot chocolate he guardian packed for him as an apology. Jacques had told Wiess that hot chocolate was too childish for elegant parties, but after Bruce informs her that it was given to him by his guardian to ensure that he has a reason to return him she agrees to have some. Now that the two are reassured that either of them are curl or heartless to be part of any arranged marriage plans to merge their family's corporations, by a father's orders. To help keep Weiss warm from the cold, Bruce un sleeved part of his coat so the two of them can share it, as they properly introduce themselves to another. Weiss liked the sound of Bruce's name, as it gets her to think of the wind rushing through bushes tree tops.
Their peaceful moment gets introspected when Jacques and the rest of the quests came onto the balcony to see Mr. Alan accuse Bruce of stealing his pocket watch. Weiss heard her father mention Bruce having a tragi past, as he tries to calm things down, before Mr. Alan knocked off Bruce's hat that was covering his Fanunus bat ears. That being combined with Bruce keeping himself and avoiding everyone else at the party only made him look guilty in their eyes. Weiss, however, doesn't share their unkind view for Fanunus and informs everyone that Bruce was with her for the last hour, making it impossible for him to have commit the thief. She then scold her father for the way he and the others are treating the gust that Jacques Schnee himself saw good enough to invite. Even though Weiss doesn't mention her earlier assumption of her father playing matchmaker with Bruce, Jacques admits that while the Waynes have a fortune that he wouldn't mind getting his hands on, he refuses to sell her into a marriage with to a Fanunus. While the gusts and hot were returning to the ball room, Weiss apologies for the way her father and Mr. Alan treated Bruce, who reassures her that he didn't steal the watch and the two of them both agreed on how it couldn't have happened to a nicer man at the same time. After Weiss tells Bruce that she is learning how to be a huntress at Beacon Academy, the two of them start to share their semblance abilities with one another. Bruce comments Weiss's glyphs being glamorous while his own semblance are of bat-like abilities, as well as him having a knack for detecting patterns and solving puzzles. This got Weiss to subject that they look for the real thief together, seeing it as another puzzle to solve got Bruce to agree. As the two find the watch on Mr. Lloyd's person and then kept him from leaving the building. Bring some exactment to a dull party, even though the guests enjoyed the show Jacques wasn't happy with their actions. Before Weiss had met Bruce, she felt that she never belonged in the upper class world she was born into and dreaded having to return to that life, knowing that she had to hide that part of herself. Until Bruce helps her to see that she doesn't have to any longer, knowing that there are those like her in their shared world. Weiss convinces Bruce to accompany her back to Beacon before school returns. For the jet ride there, Bruce had packed from hot hot chocolate for them to share, like they did on the balcony they first met on.

After Weiss found a costume-like clothes at the party her father was hosting rather than taking the time to fix the damaged communications, and puts the clothes in the same room that an unconscious men without his clothes was kept in, she comes across Bruce Wayne. Who was reverted back into a teenager when he woke up in Remnant, while having no memory why or how it happened, he sneaked into the building in hopes of getting assess to their computers for answers. While trying to blend in to help him gain a better understanding of the world he became trapped in. Bruce had saw the way Weiss talked to her father and commended her for it, before commenting how the rich are the same in every universe. He could tell that Weiss wasn't too sure about him, but kept talking to her in order to gain helpful information. Even though he was truthful when Bruce said that he isn't fund of wealthy parities either and looks for an empty room to help him get away from it. This got Weiss to open up about a dust lab being her ideal hiding place, while Bruce tried to act like he knows what the dust she speaks of is after she shared a small fact about dust. Because Bruce wasn't sure if he could trust Weiss or if she'll believe him once he tells her that he is from another world, he intended to keep her in the dark. That plan, however, was thrown out the window when Jacques Schnee found out that his key card was gone and Weiss was quick to point the finger at the young stranger she just met.

After the RWBY x Justice League comic had Weiss meet an non-canon Remnant counterpart of Bruce, people got the idea to ship them. With the two having a lot in common, like the two coming from wealth, have a close bond with their butlers and the JL/RWBY crossover giving Bruce face scars like Weiss has, and the way they clicked in the third issue that focused on them, before meeting the others and showed Weiss to be jealous when Bruce had asked Ruby to join him on a mission instead of her. Making people think that shipping the two together was the comic's idea, long before the issue of Bruce and Cyborg kissing her on the cheeks was released. Even though the comic did have Bruce flirt with Diana and Ruby, as well as Weiss spending time with Victor Stone. The attention and idea of it grew after Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One was released, and got people to hope that there would be more moments between them in the upcoming part two film. Because the ship is still new, however, the fanworks and support on it is small, but fans of it are hoping that it will grow as time passes. Since Tumblr already has a descent number of posts on them. The comics and films bridging the age gap that would put most people off the idea, helps to easy some of the thoughts that could lead to ship hating from simply shipping a teen with an adult.
The energy and vibes people get from Weiss had also got a small group to compare her with Bruce's bio son, Damian.[1] Who also uses a sword and is the youngest of his family.

- Remnant Bruce from the RWBY x JL comic had him posses bat ears, while DC Bruce who got sent to a virtual Remnant in part one of Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen developed bat wings. Like most bat fanunus were shown to have in the anime RWBY series.
