Bumper Ben is the friendship between Ben Pincus and Bumpy from the Jurassic Park fandom.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous[]
Bumpy is born in the In-Gen labs at Jurassic World. Four of the Camp Cretaceous campers are present for her birth, but Ben is the one who steps forward to help her hatch. As Ben is the first thing that Bumpy sees upon birth, she instantly becomes close to him. Ben, who up to this point, has had no interest in dinosaurs, finds himself drawn towards Bumpy as well. They are forced to part ways when the campers leave the lab, but they later reunite after the Indominous attack. Ben refuses to leave Bumpy behind, and she becomes an honorary member of the "Camp Fam".
During their attempt to escape the island, the campers try to ride the monorail. Unfortunately they are attacked by Pteranodons and Ben falls off the monorail. The other campers believe the fall has killed their friends, and they mourn him. However, it is revealed that Ben survived his fall and that Bumpy found him lying unconscious in the jungle. The two begin to live together in the wilderness, caring for each other and becoming each other's only companion.
Jurassic World: Chaos Theory[]
Bumpy is living at Sammy's ranch, and while she seems to lead a peaceful life it is clear that she misses Ben. When the two reunite, she nearly runs him over in excitement. Bumpy is later kidnapped by the DPW, which causes Ben to snap and demand that they save her. The Nublar Five follow the trail to a dinosaur drop, where Ben risks everything to hop into the same truck with Bumpy. He is worried about her safety, as she isn't acting like herself. However, it is later revealed that Bumpy is pregnant. Ben is extremely emotional upon Bumpy giving birth, almost seeming to consider the egg to be his own child or grandchild.
The celebrations are short-lived, however, as the egg is taken by the buyer. Ben demands to follow Bumpy's egg, knowing that his friend will be devastated if she loses her baby. Throughout the second season, Ben is almost laser-focused on saving Bumpy's egg.
Fanon[]
The relationship between Ben and Bumpy is one of the most beloved human-dinosaur friendships in the entirety of the Jurassic Park fandom. Fans were initially intrigued by their relationship, seeing Ben interact positively with his very first dinosaur. Their friendship really took off in season 2, when it was shown that Ben and Bumpy survived together in the wild of the island. Since then, the relationship between them has only grown, and fans enjoy to see how much love Ben shows for Bumpy. Many consider Bumpy to be Ben's best friend, even when compared to the Nublar Six.
Ben affectionately calls Bumpy "Bumper Car", which is the inspiration for the pairing name.
