BurningCheese is the het ship between Burning Spice Cookie and Golden Cheese Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.
Canon[]
Shadow of the Destroyer[]
Golden Cheese Cookie recieves a letter from Pure Vanilla Cookie, warning her of the Beast Cookies. The fallen Golden Cheese Kingdom then is filled with a burning smoke, signaling the arrival of Burning Spice's army. Worried for her kingdom, Golden Cheese Cookie rushes to where she keeps the soulcheeses. She revives Smoked Cheese Cookie and orders him to get Mozzarella Cookie and Burnt Cheese Cookie to safety.
After that is dealt with, Golden Cheese Cookie is faced by Saffron Buffalo Cookie; a cookie in Burning Spice's army. Golden Cheese tells him to kneel before her for her mercy, but Saffron Buffalo is happy that he found her, as "she is the one Burning Spice Cookie is seeking." He tells her to surrender her soul jam to his master, but Golden Cheese refuses, saying it belongs to her.
Later in the story, Smoked Cheese and Golden Cheese end up talking on their journey. Golden Cheese explains to Smoked Cheese who Burning Spice Cookie is and who the beasts are. She then asks both Smoked Cheese and herself how Burning Spice will achieve getting his soul jam back (referring to Golden Cheese's soul jam), and Smoked Cheese believes that Burnt Cheese Cookie is entertained by his and {{Stub}}Golden Cheese's "Cat and mouse chase." He then says that Burning Spice will keep toying with them for his own pleasure. Golden Cheese then suggests that they learn everything they can about Burning Spice in order to defeat him with minimal damage (and while taking some things from his land for herself).
In "Legend of the Lassi Springs", Golden Cheese and Smoked Cheese come across a tablet depicting a demon and a God. The tablet states that they will return to one another [referring to the soul jam], but that the two must not unite, or else all shall perish in flames [referring to Golden Cheese and Burning Spice meeting].
Golden Cheese Cookie and Burning Spice Cookie officially meet in Stage 15: "Burning Spice". Burning Spice is thrilled to meet Golden Cheese, complimenting her on her ability to do damage to Nutmeg Tiger Cookie in battle. He then gets even more excited about battling her, saying that he likes his prey to have a little bit of fight in them. The two then fight, and they're pretty evenely matched, but Golden Cheese saves the Young Kulfi, whiches slows her down and allows Burning Spice Cookie to catch her. He holds her by the throat over a cliff and complains that he waited a long time for a pitiful fight and tells her that she will crumble to dust.
Wings of Eternity[]
The story starts with Burning Spice Cookie holding the two soul jams in his hands and declaring that he is bored. Nutmeg Tiger Cookie asks him what's troubling him, saying that he has multipled his power and strength now that he has Golden Cheese's soul jam.
Burning Spice replies that he just took back what was his, and that there is nothing to be triumphant about. He then says that converging the two soul jams doesn't interest him in the slightest and that it feels dull and meaningless. He calls her easy prey, and says that she was too weak. Still, he holds onto the hope that she will regain her strength and that they can have a true battle.
The next scene shows Golden Cheese waking up in a cage with Smoked Cheese. Even though she just woke up, her mind is set on finding her soul jam. But when she tries to stand, she gets memories of her fight with Burning Spice, and she feels afraid. Still, she and Smoked Cheese manage to escape after some lock-picking.
The scene after cuts back to Burning Spice. A soldier informs him that Golden Cheese has escaped, but instead of being saddened, Burning Spice is overjoyed, saying that he knew she wouldn't disappoint him. He then calls the hunt for Golden Cheese back on.
In "Hallway of Ruin", Golden Cheese comes across murals depicting Burning Spice Cookie. In "How the Mighty Falls", Golden Cheese learns how Burning Spice fell, showing that he was bored with how history always changes, but everything feels like it stays the same, and just follows the same cycle. His boredom then causes him to crave destruction. In "Kulfi Kindness", Golden Cheese is dealing with the fact that Burning Spice took her soul jam and wants to destroy her all out of boredom. The Elder Kulfi then helps her hide away, and she watches as Burning Spice walks down the hallway. calling for her and referring to this hunt as "hide and seek." He calls for reinforcements to look for her, but he tells Nutmeg Tiger to bring her back alive because she is his to crumble.
Later, when Golden Cheese and Smoked Cheese are talking to Cilantro Cobra Cookie, Burning Spice Cookie comes in shouting. "WHERE AAARE YOU, GOLDEN CHEESE COOKIE?" He learns that Cilantro Cobra and the soldiers let Golden Cheese escape and he threatens to smash them to dust for letting that happen. He then shouts to Golden Cheese that she can't hide for ever, calling her "little bird", in the process. In order to protect the Elder Kulfi and Smoked Cheese Cookie from Burning Spice's wrath, she shows herself to him. He laughs, saying it's good to see her in one piece, and that it's time for some fun.
"Mayhem" shows the two having a very destructive battle. But, even in their fight, the twotwoill banter. Burning Spice comments on her strength and says that he is glad that he didn't make it [the soul jam] his yet. Golden Cheese then compliments Burning Spice that that was his "Greatest achievement" [letting her keep the soul Jam so she can fight him] and tells him that she doesn't give praise lightly. Burning Spice laughs and tells her to keep going, even referring to theIr fight as "a little dance."
In "God or Hero", Burning Spice comments on how Golden Cheese calls herself a "hero", but reminds her that he has crushed countless heroes who have tried to stop him. He then says that it is amusing that she would try to turn his own strength against him. Even though she is weak and he could crumble her right there, he tells her to get up and fight, asking "What hero crumbles so soon?", and tells her that she must keep fighting to see that all is fated to end in destruction. Golden Cheese informs him that she doesn't care for the world and doesn't wish to protect it, and that she only wishes to protect her treasures. She tells him that she won't let the likes of him harm what's hers, and she gets up to fight again.
During their fght, Burning Spice tells her to "stop teasing him", and that her treasures are what he wants to destroy the most. He then informs her that, when he's done with her, he will wipe everything off of the face of the Earth. He tells her to keep fighting and to use her strength until there is nothing left while laughing maniacally. Still Golden Cheese is unfazed. She threatens Burning Spice, saying that if he harms her kingdom, he will see the full extent of her wrath. He laughs and says that that's what he likes to hear, and taunts her by calling her, "The 'queen' of a forgotten kingdom." He then tells her that he will savor her destruction like nothing before.
In "Cookie of Abundance", Burning Spice has Golden Cheese almost defeated. Golden Cheese is barely holding onto her strength, and Burning Spice is telling her to get up and fight. He then shouts at her and encourages her to breathe in the spice dust so she can go berserk and telling her that "Jamshed [jam is cookie blood] should be relished." Golden Cheese speaks to him, saying that she pities him for wanting to destroy everything to get to her. Burning Spice laughs at her, calling his temples "trash', and says that he will gladly destroy his temples and savor every moment of it. Golden Cheese then says that he wasn't stripped of the right to be called a god, but that he never deserved it. She berates him for failing to nurture his and his kingdom's legacy. Still, he tells her that she is naive and that he's seen it all, and that the conclusion he came to is that all things must be destroyed. Golden Cheese tells him that he isn't meant to see the true value of things, and Burning Spice gets angry and says that, like many before her, she will rumble to dust.
In "Cookie of Destruction", Golden Cheese is almost defeated. Burning Spice stands over her, making fun of her for saying the he failed, and tells her that she will be forgotten by history. In the next scene, Burning Spice laughs at her for stealing his power and basking in his glory, then having the nerve to try and teach him something. He laughs at her again, saying that all her efforts lead to the crumbling of Smoked Cheese, and he then asks her how it feels to lose everything. Golden Cheese doesn't answer him. Burning Spice still takes the time to compliment her, saying that she is the reason he got his soul jam back.
He tells Golden Cheese to look him in the eye because he wants to see her face when he crumbles her. He tells her not to worry and that he always keeps his promises, and that everything she had will be swallowed by the tide of change, and that her name will be erased from history. Golden Cheese Cookie has flashbacks to her time as queen and her time with her friends, which gives her the motivation to continue fighting. She gets up, saying that he cannot crush her treasures, that he cannot crush her, and that her name will never be forgotten. She says that the power of abundance will never belong to him, and that he lost his power that was never his, saying that the power became hers. After that speech, she awakens and becomes Immortal Golden Cheese.
Burning Spice is amused by this and reminds her that she will suffer. Golden Cheese says that the tides of change have turned in her favor and that he doesn't even deserve the smallest smidgen of her treasures. Golden Cheese proceeds to crumble a building on his head, but, through all of this, Burning Spice is laughing maniacally.

BurningCheese, along with other Beast x Ancient ships, is a rather controversial ship in the fandom due to the violent and degrading way that Burning Spice treats Golden Cheese. Nevertheless, many fans enjoy the potential the ship has, enjoying the fact that fighting Golden Cheese allows Burning Spice to feel "alive" again, or the idea of Burning Spice kneeling before Golden Cheese Cookie. Some fans enjoy the idea of Golden Cheese having power of burning spice and the idea of her "taming the beast."
