Byleth Eisner is a character from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Character[]
Byleth is the main protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The child of the leader of a mercenary group, Byleth awakens a mysterious time-rewinding power while defending a trio of nobles. This combination of factors causes them to be brought in to the Officer's Academy of Garreg Mach Monastery to teach the next generation of leaders. Later on, it's also discovered they have a Crest long-thought died out and able to wield the legendary Sword of the Creator.
In the spin-off game, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Byleth is presented as an antagonist for most of the story, having killed main character Shez's mercenary company in the opening mission, though they can be recruited in all three routes provided certain conditions are met.
Byleth is also a playable fighter in the Super Smash Bros. series. They first became playable as a DLC fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Canon[]
In Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Byleth can S-support any character of the opposite gender, and even a few of the same gender. Most of these relationships will result in marriage (barring characters like Alois and Gilbert, who are already married), and a few endings (those with Sylvain, Lysithea, Flayn, Shamir, Manuela, and Yuri) explicitly mention Byleth and their spouse having one or more children.
Fanon[]
Per series tradition, Byleth's most popular ships are with the three house leaders Dimitri, Edelgard, and Claude as well as the unofficial lord of "Silver Snow", Seteth. Other popular partners include Sylvain and Flayn.
