Trailblaze Missions: Jarilo-VI[]
Caelus and Bronya are species that come from different origins because Caelus, the Trailblazer, is an artificial species created by someone unknown and awakened by Kafka and Silver Wolf with the essence of the Stellaron, while Bronya is a human native to Belobog, where she was initially raised in an Underworld orphanage and later adopted by Cocolia in the Overworld.
It all begins when Caelus and the Astral Express Crew land on Jarilo VI via Astral Express and then become involved in a problem between Sampo and the Silvermane Guardians, led by Gepard. Believing that Caelus and his company were Sampo's henchmen, Gepard fights them, but later, due to the situation they were in, he decides to escort them to Belobog, in the office of the then Supreme Guardian, Cocolia so that she can decide what to do with they.
Just upon arriving at the office, Caelus sees Bronya for the first time, who is having a conversation with Cocolia, her mother. When she notices Gepard bringing Caelus and his company, Cocolia lets Bronya go. Bronya and Caelus see each other, but do not yet know each other due to Bronya ignoring him for the moment.
The next day, after spending a night at the hotel, Caelus begins to receive bad news about the Silvermane Guards and goes out to see what is happening.
Just as he leaves the hotel, a Silvername guardian tells Caelus that Commander Bronya is waiting for him downstairs. Upon meeting her, Bronya introduces herself to Caelus and his company, but reveals that she is going to arrest him and his company, under the orders of the Supreme Guardian, for being suspected of inciting a rebellion. March suspects that something is wrong with the Supreme Guardian and makes an escape plan to evade the guards and escape to the Fragmentum area, allowing Caelus to escape with her and Dan Heng temporarily from the "threat" of Bronya.
However, just as they were about to escape the Fragmentum area, Bronya and the Silvermane guards managed to ambush Caelus, March and Dan Heng, but they decided to give them a fight, since there was no other option. After the battle, even though Bronya seemed about to lose, March admits that she is strong. However, the fight is interrupted by Sampo, who threw smoke grenades at them which ended up leaving Bronya, Caelus, March and Dan Heng unconscious. Later, Caelus awakes in a hospital and searches for everyone, ignoring Bronya for the moment. But much later, when everyone is gathered, along with Sampo, they find Bronya in trouble with some homeless people trying to beat her up, but Seele came to hep to chase them away.
Because Bronya's ideals clash with Seele's, the two have an argument, but although she did not want to, Bronya accompanied Seele and Caelus' company. Here, Bronya for the moment made no further arrest attempts against Caelus, due to him not only losing his weapon, but also perhaps out of fear of what Seele will do, until the opportune moment presents itself. Once they meet Oleg, Caelus has no opinion when he tells the "unwelcome" truth about the Supreme Guardian and Bronya considers it an insult, so Oleg decides to talk to her alone, letting Caelus and his companions go. to a hotel.
Just as they were about to enter an Underworld hotel, Bronya appears and offers to guard the entrance when she finished talking to Oleg. However, after a few hours of the night, Caelus cannot sleep, since the nightmares about the Estelaron and Cocolia continued, so he decides to go walk outside for a while. Bronya hears his footsteps and decides to confront him thinking that there was a possible enemy, but upon realizing that it was him, she took the opportunity that they were alone to have her first talk.
Caelus has a chat with Bronya about their concerns regarding Cocolia's sudden orders and their own troubles. She then, asks him to walk together alone for a while to forget their troubles and Caelus agrees, leaving March and Dan Heng sleeping in the hotel behind.
Soon, they find Seele and Natasha and they decide to help them. When searching for supplies, Bronya recovers her memories about her past and they soon discover the truth about Svarog, the robot that "protects the humanity" but he doesn't get along with the Wildfire and about Clara, its closest friend.
When they reunite with Caelus' companions again, they make in their way to Svarog's territory to fight it. After the battle, Bronya feels her heart aching and lets Caelus to reveal Svarog the truth.
Some time later, they are reunited again, but when Dan Heng asked about Bronya, Seele said that she returned to the Overworld and to explain the reasons she asked Seele to give Caelus a letter.
Much time later, with the help of Serval, Caelus, Seele and the company went to search for Cocolia and Bronya. After passing difficulties, they finally find them, but they learn that Cocolia was planning to destroy the world to create another one, so she summons an Architect Machine to stop everyone. However, as it is defeated, Caelus, with the help of Bronya and company, climbs the machine to face Cocolia personally, but he ends stabbed by her Icy Sword. He is sent immediately to an illusory space where he finds Cocolia's relationships towards her own men regarding the Stellaron and he obtains a new Amber Sword. He challenges Cocolia again for another battle, but this time with the help from Bronya and others. After Cocolia is defeated for good, she uses the Stellaron to sacrifice herself, which shocks Bronya heavily.
Later, the Astral Express Crew witnessed Bronya's new ascension as the Nineteenth Supreme Guardian. Later, Caelus has a last chat with Bronya before he bids farewell to her. After this, Caelus and his company leave Jarilo VI. In a cutscene between Seele and Bronya, they chat about their future being more uncertain than theirs, but they hope them to do well.
Trailblaze Continuances: Jarilo-IV[]
After defeating Phantylia at the Xianzhou Luofu, Caelus returns to the Astral Express, preparing to teleport to the next zone. There, while waiting for the Astral Express to be ready, Caelus receives a personal message from Bronya, addressed only to him and his friends March 7th and Dan Heng. Bronya reveals that she is organizing the Solwarm festival, a traditional holiday on Belobog, which was previously suspended due to the Stellaron crisis on Jarilo-IV. Caelus immediately accepts the invitation, causing March 7th to do the same.
Caelus, in order to have fun at the party Bronya was organizing in Belobog, goes to his friends' rooms hoping that they will want to go to the festival, however, despite their insistence, Dan Heng refuses to go for personal reasons.
Himeko says that they are still preparing the Astral Express for the next jump, so she grants Caelus and March 7th permission to return to Belobog while she and Welt continue to take care of the Express.
After meeting people like Topaz, Pela, Gepard and Serval on the way, Caelus heads to Qilipoth Fortress to meet Bronya. But to his surprise, Topaz is already there, asking Bronya to pay the debt that Belobog owes to the IPC. Caelus has a moment of conversation with Bronya, to analyze the situation and face the debt. In order to help Bronya, Caelus tried to negotiate with Topaz, but without success. Therefore, at Seele's request, he had to forcefully remove the IPC members and their robots, even if it means fighting.
Bronya sends a message again and says that Caelus and March should return to Qilipoth Fort. Back at the site, Bronya explains that Topaz has just sent a contract to sign. According to Topaz, should she accept the contract and sign it, the IPC would forgive all of Belobog's debts and the IPC would help in rebuilding Belobog. Bronya would apparently be inclined to sign it, but just in case, she asks Caelus to help her ask some citizens of Belobog to find out if they agree or not. Proceeding in this way, Caelus managed to bring back information for Bronya with the following results: half of the citizens agree with the contract, including Serval, Pela and Oleg and the other half do not, including Dunn, Natasha and Clara.
Finally, Seele's answer is neutral, as she has no preferences and will support Bronya no matter what her decision is. This makes Bronya even more hesitant. When she was about to accept the contract at the last moment, Himeko appears to give more information. Now that everyone knows how risky it is to gamble on receiving outside help, Caelus is given a new mission to find Topaz and confront her. Topaz has already begun to get the impression that Caelus is trying to obstruct the CPI's operations on Jarilo-IV and so her superiors have given her permission to attack Caelus and the members of the Astral Express with the IPC troops and robots. Just as the fighting is about to get heated, Bronya appears and puts a stop to it.
Caelus calmed down when Bronya and Topaz finally began negotiations without any further problems, so Bronya decided that Topaz would only take care of part of Belobog and not the entire city, implying that she accepted the contract halfway. Finally, at Bronya's suggestion, Caelus heads to the Goethe Hotel to rest while she has matters to discuss with Topaz. Afterwards, Caelus would return to the Astral Express to prepare to go to Penacony.
Fanon[]
CaeBronya is a somewhat rare pairing in the fandom. It first originated as a ship in the cutscene where Bronya has her moment with Caelus to talk about the Underworld even without March and Dan Heng noticing it at first. It is known and appreciated by fans of the ship.
Fans of the ship appreciate how Bronya can be at ease on expressing her worries to Caelus and how he’s willing to help her solve the issue in Jarilo VI.
