Caedarth is the het ship between Marth and Caeda from the Fire Emblem fandom.
Canon[]
War of Shadows[]
Marth is the heir to the throne of Altea who was forced into exile after the Dolhr Empire killed his father and took over his Kingdom. Caeda is the Princess of Talys.
Marth met Caeda when he was sent to Talys for protection after the fall of Altea, where the two of them lived under the care of her father King Mostyn and trained for when Marth would someday liberate Altea. Their journey started when they defeated the pirates of Galder, and Caeda would accompany Marth on his journey to liberate Archanea, then Altea, and then defeat Medeus.
At the end of the war, Princess Nyna encouraged Marth to confess his affections for Caeda. The two professed their love, and during the timeskip between the War of Shadows and the War of Heroes, they got engaged.
Shadow Dragon has an extra scene where Caeda is seen discussing her own feelings with Nyna.
War of Heroes[]
In the year following the end of the War of Shadows, Marth and Caeda had set a date for their wedding when Marth received news from Hardin, now Emperor of Archanea. Hardin told Marth about an insurrection in Grust that needed to be put down, leading Marth to set out with his knights while Caeda and Elice protected Altea.
However, after defeating several armies of Grust, Macedon and Dolhr, Caeda arrived with the news that Altea had fallen once again, this time to an assault from Archanea orchestrated by Hardin, now a tyrannical ruler bent on world domination. This led to Marth and his army fighting the Empire and defeating Hardin, who'd been under the control of the Darksphere. Later, they defeated Gharnef and then Medeus, who'd been resurrected by those faithful to the Dolhr Empire.

With the War of Heroes finally over, most of Archanea's noble houses were left in ruins. Almost all of its surviving rulers ceded sovereignty over their territories to Marth himself, and so Marth united the continent as the Archanean Alliance, serving as its first king with Caeda as his queen. Under Marth's reign, the continent experienced a golden era of peace and its wounds began to heal.
As a result of the union between Marth and Caeda, they had descendants who would inhabit Archanea, called Ylisse centuries later. Among the best known descendants of both are Chrom and his daughter Lucina.
Fire Emblem Heroes[]
Heroes makes ample mention of Marth and Caeda's relationship. While the two have yet to have a Duo Hero, they talk about each other a lot. Caeda was one of the first bridal banner units, and was soon followed up with Marth as a groom.
Fanon[]
This ship is popular among Archanea fans and has gained more of a following over the years due to Marth being the face of the franchise and the extra development given to their characters and relationships via the remakes and the spinoff games.
This couple is one of the best known thanks to the fact that their story takes place in 4 games, three of them remakes. Fire Emblem: The Shadow Dragon and the Blade of the Light for the NES console, Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem for the SNES console, and Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon for the Nintendo DS console, as well as having an additional story in the Japanese version of Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow. They also appear together in the spinoff games Fire Emblem Heroes and Fire Emblem Warriors.

Trivia[]
- Caeda appears in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a spirit. that can be fought in a Spirit battle, where she's represented by her distant descendant Lucina. The stage represents Caeda's specialty in flying through the sky with her pegasus, while the music represents Caeda's, ability to recruit most of units into Marth's army, including some enemy ones.
- Also, a Marth minion appears to protect the Lucina puppet that contains Caeda's spirit. The player must KO both opponents in battle to free Caeda's spirit from Galeem's control.
- Marth is one of three lord characters to have a canonical partner, the other two being Alm and Sigurd. Every other lord has multiple choices for a spouse.
- If Caeda die in Shadow Dragon the epilogue will be different and called Artemis' Curse.
