CaineSERIAL N is the friendship between Caine and Serial Designation N from The Amazing Digital Circus and Murder Drones fandoms.
Canon[]
Due to being from two separate medias, the two haven't interact with each other in their own series. While the two shows have done crossovers a few times outside of canonicity, the two characters were never introduced to each other during those crossovers. On the other hand, Alex Rochon and Michael Kovach, Caine's voice actor and N's voice actor respectively, do have moments where they act as the two characters while playing out scenarios during live streams.
Creative Artificial intelligence Networking Entity, or simply known as Caine, is an A.I. who acts as the ringmaster of a digital circus, which houses trapped humans in the bodies of digital avatars. He tasks himself with making sure the residents are entertained alongside his loyal assistant, Bubble. Serial Designation N, or simply known as N, is a male Worker-Drone-turned-Disassembly-Drone. He was sent to Copper 9 by the Absolute Solver/Cyn with the goal of wiping out the entirety of the Worker Drones species on said exo-planet.
Caine and N do share some similarities in the fact that both are Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, the two display an enthusiastic and excitable personality. They strive to keep the atmosphere bright with everyone feeling comfortable and happy. They both want to improve and wishes to do their best at what they do. However, they also do have their own struggles; Caine struggles to to understand human emotions, while N struggles to stand up for himself when confronted with harsh and unfair treatment by his co-workers. These two's weaknesses makes them get hated on by their peers despite their efforts, once again striking a similarity between them in character.

CaineSERIAL N is a moderately famous ship in both fandoms. Due to Alex Rochon's and Michael Kovach's moments of acting as the characters in live streams, fans have come with their own headcanons of what Caine's and N's relationship would be like if they were to meet each other.
As a result of the two voice actors' interactions, most fans interpret them as father and son, with Caine being the parent and N being the child. Additionally, going off of this headcanon, many also see Caine having given birth to N through his mouth, which is once again based off of the words said by Michael Kovach on the livestream. On the other hand, others see them both as best friends who watch movies together.
This ship doesn't exactly have any competition from other ships. However, Cainble can be considered a possible rival.
