CamiPepa is the family ship between Camilo Madrigal and Pepa Madrigal from the Encanto fandom.

Canon

Camilo is the middle child and oldest son of Pepa and her husband Felix. He has a prankster personality while Pepa is more anxiety-prone and dramatic. Despite being directly related, however, there is only one notable interaction between them in the film. After the disastrous dinner scene of Isabela's proposal, Pepa is left a nervous wreck after seeing Bruno's vision of the family's future. The house to crack and all the family's Gifts start acting up, including Pepa's weather going crazy within the house, and Camilo shapeshifting out of control. Shortly after this scene, Camilo is seen trying to calm his mother down in her room. He helps her sit down and instructs her to take deep breaths, while handing her a cup of tea. Unfortunately, it happened that Mirabel was running around in the walls at the time. Pepa gets startled by the noise and accidentally hits Camilo with a lightning bolt, which causes him to shapeshift uncontrollably once more.

This is their only interaction in the film (as Camilo's antics are usually dealt with by Felix, Dolores or Mirabel). However, they do have some interactions in extra-canonical material. For example, in the book "Mystery of the Rainforest," Pepa is stressing about Dolores' upcoming wedding. Camilo is listening in on her discussions, and tries to lighten the mood by shapeshifting into Bruno and suggesting to ask him for advice. Pepa thinks this is a good idea and takes his advice. Both of these instances suggest that Camilo is in a habit of helping to soothe his mother's emotions, much like his father Felix.

Fanon

After seeing the brief scene in the movie between the two, a popular headcanon arose in the Encanto fandom that Camilo is a "Mama's boy," and that he and Pepa are particularly close. Many fan works in the community reflect this and may sometimes portray Pepa as a very protective mother over her son. Camilo, usually, is seen as being embarrassed by her affection but also secretly happy about it. Other times, Pepa might get annoyed at her son's antics and be the one to put him in his place with her heated personality.
