Canary Vixen is the femslash ship between Amaya and Sara from the Legends of Tomorrow fandom.
Canon[]
Amaya and Sara clash immediately upon meeting, the Legends' impulsive actions in stark contrast to Amaya's strict JSA rule abidance. However, unlike most Amaya doesn't fear Sara nor does she cower in the face of Sara's command, and Sara develops respect for Amaya who in turn learns what life is like among Legends and starts to like the adventures and freedom life on the Waverider brings. The two opposites learn a lot from each other and become arguably the Legends' most powerful allies, as they share many traits; strength, determination and endurance.
Season 3[]
FREAKSHOW
When a Sabretooth tiger is released on the circus, Sara gets the idea to go get Amaya back on the team. She then heads to Zambesi and suggest for a mission, for old time's sake. Amaya has Sara join her in her tent, but says that she can't go with her. Sara says that she's not asking her to join back up with the team, just for one easy mission. Amaya sarcastically asks if trapping a sabretooth tiger is easy, and Sara clarifies that Amaya's powers will make it easy. Sara says she can't risk the Time Bureau taking the Waverider again, but as much as Amaya would like to help, her life's a little complicated at the moment. A little girl then comes in and Amaya talks to her, telling her to get to bed. Sara says that normal life suits Amaya, and that she seems at peace. She decides that she can't disturb that and says goodbye to her. She heads out to leave, but Amaya tells her to wait. Amaya asks if Nate knows she's coming back and Sara lies, saying that he's thrilled.
Amaya goes back with Sara, but doesn't get the warm reception from Nate she was expecting. Sara says that she and Amaya will take care of the tiger and takes Ray's shrink ray. She pulls Amaya out of the galley, and Amaya calls Sara out on her lie. Sara insists that everything's cool, even though it's clearly not.
