CandiLeo is the het ship between Candi and Leo from the Lego Friends fandom.
Canon[]
Candi would make her debut in the episode “Space Race Competition”. She’s a new student at Heartlake International High School and everyone in the class, including Leo would welcome her to the school. Candi and Leo would be in rivaling teams to compete on creating an innovative idea for Heartlake City’s astronaut, Olivia. Candi would continuously insult and bring down Leo’s team. In the end, Candi would get really upset that Leo’s team won the comptition and she wants revenge on them.
In “Liann’s Magic Lucky Charms”, Candi meets Leo before soccer practice. Leo greets her back, but Candi then threatens Leo that she'll want to be the team’s new starting striker and replace him. Leo gets nervous. Candi takes the ball from Leo’s hand and kicks it as a demonstration of her skill, then skip away cheerfully. During practice, Candi purposely made Leo miss the kick, causing him to trip and fall. The coach calls off practice and Candi suddenly act nice to Leo praising him to show everyone that she’s a nice person. Once everyone looks away, she insults Leo, telling him he kicks like a worm.
Candi continues to bully Leo on multiple occasions. Once instance has Candi walking down the hallway with her friends when she spots Leo. She intentionally bumps into him and he falls down, dropping his books as well. Candi put on an act apologizing to him and pretends offers to help Leo get up, but then she takes her hand away and insults him again. She leaves him and Leo felt really hurt. Later during lunch, Candi would throw a soccer ball at Leo causing food from his tray to fly up and make him look like a mess. Finally, Candi would kick Leo’s leg when he was preparing for soccer practice and laughs at him, but then pulling a one eighty when she’s was with other people. Leo feels seriously demotivated and is on the verge of tears from her bullying. Later, he tell his friend Autumn about the new girl and she assumes that he has a crush on her, but he denies. He explains her trouble Candi caused, but he stops himself cause he thinks it’s not a big deal.
During soccer practice, Candi spills water on Leo’s pants, making it seem like he had an accident. She makes the scene the center of everyone’s attention and mocks him by asking to offer him a towel, which everyone laughs at. Leo felt really embarrassed and runs away from the field, crying. After school, Leo begs to Liann for a lucky charm, but she’s informed him that she’s run out. He then vents out all the bullying Candi has done to him, such as tripping him, calling him names, and being super two faced. Autumn comforts him and she and Nova advise him to stand up to Candi tomorrow. He feels a lot better and more confident after hearing his friends advice. Liann gives him a lucky charm to wish him luck to stand up to Candi.
During soccer practice, Leo approaches Candi. She mocks him by calling him with nicknames. Leo doesn’t want her to call him with those names, but Candi still persists. Leo gets frustrated and tells her that she’s a mean, showing that he has had enough of her bullying. Candi caught by surprised by this, but then she says okay and promises not to be mean anymore. Leo was confused by her sudden change in attitude. She insists that she would love to be Leo’s best friend instead, but Leo doesn’t want any of that as that’s not what he said. Candi invites him to beat up everyone on the field, but then corrects herself they should play soccer with them. Leo is left still confused. After school, he tells Liann and Nova that the charm worked, but a little too well. Suddenly Candi jumps in and she insists on Leo to come over for dinner, referring to him as “Leo with an I”. She drags him away from his friends as Leo is clearly uncomfortable.
In “Secret Crush”, Candi spots Leo in the Adventure Camp Clubhouse and she punches him in the arm, calling him “Leo-tastic”. Leo is uncomfortable but he still greets her. Leo really didn’t want Zac to tell Candi about him being Zac's wingman, but alas, she would intervene. Candi says that Sky is in the room when she isn't, and Zac hides away. Leo gets annoyed telling her to stop messing around. Candi calls Leo a cute wingman and wants to to offer his friend advice on how to impress his crush, that is if they agree to go on a double date, as she looks at Leo implying she’s gonna make him her date. Leo thinks her advices are really bad, but Zac seems to be following along with her. But Candi argues that being thorough is a important quality in a boyfriend. She goes over to Leo calling him he’s someone thorough, while he looks disgusted with the way she looks at him. She also adds on that she loves it when people buy her nice things as she glances over at Leo again. Candi advises Zac to buy Sky a special gift, but Leo disagrees with this as he believes someone cannot buy love. Candi calls him cute for his wholesome idea.
In “Holiday Gift Wrap Disaster”, Liann and Nova would find out that the gift thief is Candi and they immediately knew where to find her. Since she's always where Leo is, they go search for him. They ask him to call Candi as she'll always answer the phone if he calls and they can later confront her, but Leo doesn't want to do it. They beg for him to do so to save the present and he finally gives in. He calls her and she answers. She tells him she's at the diner and invited him to come over as well for lunch. She just want to do whatever Leo wants. At the diner, Candi is scrolling through Leo’s social media account. Nova and Liann try to get Candi talking by having a conversation about Leo’s heart getting broken. Candi genuinely gets worried for Leo and asks them what was wrong with him. Nova says that Leo loves the jolly spirit so much and Candi suddenly brings up about the missing presents, calling them stupid.
In “Cooking Dreams at Risk”, Candi appears behind Leo who seems to be interested by a poster of the Cooking Academy hosted by Chef Marta. They would quiz each other on a bunch of Chef Marta trivia questions. Candi would spew up a bunch of extra facts about Chef Marta’s way of cooking. Leo and Candi would continue to bond over cooking, which Leo had no idea Candi was even interested in in the first place. He asks how long she's been a fan of, to which she awkwardly claims that she’s always been a fan of hers, when in reality she just memorized a bunch of books about Chef Marta and was constantly worrying about Leo possibly seeing right through her. Candi asks if he wants the two of them to team up to enter the academy, to which Leo agrees. They have a whole week to prepare the meal and whoever gets to be the first few to present their dish to the chef gets to compete. However, Leo’s time would be cut short because his soccer friends would drag him into a camping trip for the weekend. Leo tells Candi they'll work together next week, but she tries to warn him that they don't have all week since the meals will be buffet style and they need to be the first to cone, but she gives up as he gets too faraway to hear her. Present Leo who's narrating the story says he should've listened to Candi’s warning.
Candi continuously tries to contact Leo on the phone and through text, but no response from him as he put away his phone to focus on camping. The next day, Leo would open his phone and sees a bunch of notifications from Candi. Her voicemail tells him that the Cooking Academy is really low on slots and yo ball her soon. He sees that there's only one spot left and he rushes to sign up before it is filled. He managed to make the cut and fills in the last slot for the academy. Candi congratulates him in a frustrated tone and Leo asks if she got in the academy as well. Candi angrily storms off pushing him aside.
In “Too Many Cooks (In The Kitchen)”, Leo gets nervous seeing Candi glare at him. He thinks back to the day when he barely managed to get in the Cooking Academy by filling in the last slot. Leo walks up the stairs, with Candi following him. He tells her that it’s for academy students only and Candi knows that as she got in, no thanks to him. Leo awkwardly congratulates her and Candi shuts the door in front of his face. The two would become partners for Chef Marta’s academy, but Candi is still very upset at Leo for the trouble he caused. The first round of challenges begin where the teams have to make a dish in complete silence. Candi adds some spice into the food Leo is making and Leo blames her that she’s ruining his dish, while Candi argues that the spice is the secret ingredient to her getting accepted. Chef Marta would deduct 50 points from their team for talking. The next challenge has teams create a dish blindfolded and use their other senses other than sight. Leo and Candi would argue what dish to make with the ingredients available, but their beef would cause them to drop their ingredients on the floor and wasting food. Chef Marta deducts another 20 points for their team. The third and final challenge has them prepare a meal without their hands. Leo knows Candi is upset at him and Candi finally spews out everything to him, from him ditching her and to calling him the worst friend ever. Leo brings up the time when she bullied him until he stood up to her and didn’t consider her a friend. Candi claims she apologized for that, and Leo asks when she did she ever that. Time would run out and the were left with an overflowing mesh of chocolate. Candi apologizes that she’ll be the reason why they’ll get kicked out of the academy and Leo also blames himself. But Chef Marta surpringly liked the dessert they made and they manage to pass their first class at the academy. They would hug each other, but upon realizing it, they both let go and step aside while blushing a bit. Candi wants Leo to not get too comfortable as they barely passed the class if it weren’t for another team foing worst than them.
In “Creative Cook-Off Challenge”, their next class would have them create a new original recipe and then make their recipe in the kitchen the next day. Leo gets worried as he has only been creating food by following recipes and Candi encourages him that he’ll get his mojo back. But she was just messing with him and that she actually doubts he’ll succeed. She is just glad that they’re no longer doing teams then waves goodbye to him. Leo walks away in shame. The next day, before they start baking, Candi tells Leo that he’s got this and Leo thinks she actually meant what she said. But again, Candi was just messing with him and was surprised that he fell for it twice. She says that he’s kinda cooked. When the class starts, Leo would use his Abuelita’s cook book to make his cake and Candi gets suspicious of him as he tries to hide it. Leo would end up winning the competition, but Candi notices that he's dropped the cook book on the floor and she picks it up. She announces to everyone that Leo cheated and Leo to feel really embarrassed. Candi didn't know that he could do something like this, telling him that she likes him even more now and Leo was really uncomfortable with it. Candi’s dish would instead replace Leo’s dish to be put on Chef Marta’s blog, while Leo would be on dish duty. Candi says she could help him, but doesn’t want to and leaves.

CandiLeo is a widely hated ship in the fandom. There are very few fans who ship the pair as they consider it a enemies to lovers whip, which can be considered a rarepair. Overall fans hate it due to the fact that Candi used to bully Leo causing him to feel hurt to the point he cried, making the relationship be seen as very toxic. When Candi suddenly starts to treat Leo in a much “kinder” way and she would on some occasions even act flirty with him, fans still didn’t trust her as she was still being mean to him at times. During Season 3, Leo would suddenly act really friendly towards Candi, even though in Season 2 he was really uncomfortable whenever she was around him. This could be because of the fact after the finale of Season 2, Candi has a change of heart, but fans still did not like the approach of the sudden change in their relationship.
The ship has no fanfictions or fanarts, but there is a single YouTube edit of the ship. All of Candi’s fanfictions on AO3 involve Leo. There are even some official LEGO promotional material that include Candi and Leo together, such as YouTube video thumbnails.
