Candlover is the femslash ship between Candle and Clover from the Inanimate Insanity fandom.

In Candle's aura readings, Cabby lists Clover's aura that she got from Candle as orange. Shortly afterwards, MePhone uses the aura readings to rearrange the teams, in which Candle and Clover end up being teammates of The New Thinkers. At the start of the challenge, the two, along with Yin-Yang and The Floor, partake in Goo's group hooray to motivate the team. Afterwards, Candle directs them into starting the challenge. Later after Goo saves Clover from falling after she flies off of a platform, Clover tells Goo that he many not actually have free will in the situation. Candle agrees with Clover, making Goo startled.
Candle brings in Clover and most of the other remaining contestants for a group photo. A falling platform ends up killing all of them, save for Bot, and MePhone ends up accidentally switching their bodies trying to revive them all at once. Later when Silver Spoon, in Candle's body, is trying to get her flame put out, Clover approaches him as a volunteer. Clover remarks that she is surprised she didn't know there was a birthday according to his song, making Silver Spoon claim that it is everyone's birthdays for all being reborn. Clover then tries to weakly blow out Candle's flame to no avail. Clover joyfully exclaims that she can't do it, making Silver Spoon yell that she has nothing to celebrate. Later in the challenge when Clover tells the others why she's glad to lose her luck, The Floor prompts her with an idea of equally distributing it instead which Candle agrees with. When Nickel quickly realizes that Clover's luck ended up causing them to all die and get swapped in the first place, startling Candle. Candle says that Clover would not have caused the damage consciously, although Clover nonetheless is upset by this and runs off crying. Candle later comforts Test Tube, in Clover's body, about Bot starting to come to terms with their true self. In the elimination, Candle and the rest of the team, along with Clover herself, all vote Clover out after realizing that the game was torturing her. Clover takes it in well and shares her luck to the rest of the team as Candle solemnly watches Clover's butterflies take her away.

Candlover is a rarepair overall in the Inanimate Insanity fandom. The pairing grew particularly among lesbian shippers during the third season, since the two are one of four female newbies of the season. The two getting along in the season also added to this, although their time together as teammates was short. The ship has gained a following mainly with video edits on TikTok, along with some fan art on the show's shipping platforms. The pairing is mainly overshadowed by those such as Silvercandle and Niclover.
