CarrieDinahboose is the poly ship between Carrie, Dinah and CB from the Starlight Express fandom.

Carrie, Dinah and Caboose rarely interact between all three during the show. With Dinah and Carrie not really interacting with Caboose at all. Though Dinah used to interact with him quite a bit prior to the shows re-writes wich added in Carrie. They do participate in many of the group numbers together, most notably "The Rap" and "Light at the End of the Tunnel".
Their only real interaction being during "Freight is Great, where Carrie, Dinah and the rest of the coaches bemoan the arrival of the freight train. When it comes by, Caboose goes by Carrie and Dinah, before being pulled back in line by Rusty. All three also get pulled in by Electra's magnetism during "AC/DC", forming the circle that surrounds them. Caboose's section being behind Carrie's and Dinah's being behind his. Later all three end up making it to the finals. Dinah paired with Electra, Carrie with Ruhrgold, and Caboose with Rusty. Though after the crash that caused a re-run to be called, neither Carrie or Dinah make it to the final race. Ruhrgold being too injured to continue and Dinah no longer wanting to race with Electra. Caboose ends up taking her place after crashing Rusty in the original, and Carrie and Dinah watch Caboose and the other race from the side.

CarrieDinahboose is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Fans often ship it due to wanting CB to be with both Carrie and Dinah. Seeing it as a solution to a fandom love triangle. However, Dinah and CB's lack of interactions in modern production made their ship less prevalent, and as a result the poly ship as well. With it being more popular during the point where the fandom was more focused on the older version of the show and still getting used to the new one. Its rival ships include GreaseDinah, Electraboose and Carriegold.
Some fans like the idea of Dinah joining CB and Carrie's relationship after the events of the show. Believing that she should have dumped Greaseball and gotten partners who were much nicer to her.
