Carriegold is the het ship between Carrie and Ruhrgold from the Starlight Express fandom.

Act 1[]
Control tells everyone to start partnering up, and Carrie and Ruhrgold immediately do. Rusty then tries to partner with Carrie, but both she and Ruhrgold push him to the side. Skating off to get ready for the race. When the second heat starts, Control calls Carrie and Ruhrgold for track 1. The two come out, Ruhrgold showing off and Carrie blowing kisses to the audience. Ruhrgold then says to grab your luggage and clear the track, which Carrie seems surprised by him saying, but likes. They then skate down to the starting line, waiting for the other racers. Control the says go, and the race begins. Carrie and Ruhrgold stay closer to the end for the most part but end up being able to secure one of the four spots in the finals.

Carriegold is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Though has a moderate following among Bochum revamp fans. Especially those who enjoy shipping racing partners together. In many fics they are often a background or side pairing. Fans of the ship believe that the two have been racing partners before the events of the musical, and this also extended to a romantic relationship. Something hinted at as Ruhrgold includes a mention of luggage in his statement before the race. As Carrie is a luggage car and would most likely enjoy him including her in his own description. Its main rival ships include Rustygold and Package Store.
On AO3, Carriegold is the most written ship for both Ruhrgold and Carrie. It is also the eighth most written het ship in the Starlight Express tag. There are currently 8 written works.
