CassieKate is the femslash ship between Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang from the Marvel fandom.
Canon[]
Kate and Cassie are best friends. While not founding members of the Young Avengers, they are considered two of its original members. Having been brought in at the same time and becoming the first two female members of the team.
Astonishing Ant Man[]
Kate comes to support Cassie in one of her most vulnerable moments. After Cassie's death, she lost all of her powers and even gained a strained relationship with her father. And was even upset at the fact she can't even play basketball well. Amidst all of this, after a fight with her mom, Cassie is surprised by a pizza box being shot to her room with an arrow. She's happy to see Kate at her window, there to support her. She even thinks to herself that Kate came to "rescue" her. Kate invites her to a "date" outside and the two go get some drinks.
As they were talking and catching up, their date gets interrupted by someone calling Kate on her phone. Kate says the "buyer's agent" needs her at his office. But Cassie doesn't buy this, so she decides to follow Kate.

CassieKate is a smaller ship among Young Avengers fans. This is due to them having less interactions with each other than most other Young Avengers team members. As well as Kate's later interactions with America Chavez being considered more flirtatious and coming out around the time that fan fic was taking off on AO3. Although there are some who ship their MCU counterparts as so far they are the ones who have had the most screen time as adults. This also comes from those who are aware that they are on the same team together, but might not have read the comics. On AO3, CassieKate is the fourth most written ship for Cassie. There are currently over 40 written works.
