Castordei is the het ship between Castorice and Mydei from the Honkai: Star Rail fandom.

Mydei and Castorice are both members of Chrysos Heir.
Voice lines[]
In Castorice voice line about Mydei, she says that Death brought by Strife is often full of pain and darkness. However, in her opinion, Mydei grants to his enemies is a glorious and brilliant demise.
In Castorice's voice line "added to team with Mydei", she says it is time for them to carry out their duty.
In Mydei's voice line about Castorice, he mentions that she's The Death Servant of Aidonia and destined to carry the Coreflame of Thanatos. His later words are more poetic. Mydei hopes that "at the end of the black tide, on the other side of the warm west wind, is also a sea of flowers".
In Mydei's voice line "added to team with Castorice", he says death shall forge the warriors' path to glory.

Both Mydei and Castorice's magazines have information about their arm wrestling. Mydei was curious why she decided to sign up for this competition. However, Castorice didn't sign up on her own as it was one of Cipher's jokes.
At the end of the contest, Castorice took first place while Mydei became Runner-up in the Okhema Arm Wrestling tournament.

Fanon[]
After the leaks about Mydei and Castorice's curses, some players found Castordei interesting even before Amphoreus was released. Their dynamic "Touch of Death x Immortal" made a positive reaction in fandom. As fans see the potential of pairing, they hoped that Hoyoverse will pay great attention on their relationship during Amphoreus Story Quest. However, this didn't happen. Most of time was spend on Mydei and Phainon's companionship and Castorice's goal to find Titan of Death. As a result of it, Castordei stayed as a rarepair for some time.
Although, after their emotional interactions during 3.1 and 3.2 updates, the content gradually began to grow.
On the strength of her curse, Castorice could never hug someone or touch, it made her feel lonely. After Mydei suggested her to have a hug, fandom started to notice Castordei making some content. Learning more details about their backstory and some interesting facts about them from other Hoyo sources, also helped ship to become popular.
Currently, it's Mydei's most popular hetero pairing while for Castorice, it's second most popular hetero ship. Castordei often shipped along with Phairene and some artists also draw those couples in double date. After it was revealed that Cyrene also has elven ears just like Castorice, it made some jokes among fans about that both Phainon and Mydei have similar tastes in women.
Castordei mostly rivals with PhaiDei on Mydei's side and CaeRice with Castorstelle on Castorice end. In Lofter, Castordei has 925+ artworks while on AO3, their pairing has 181+ works.
