CatQuinn is the femslash ship between Selina Kyle and Harley Quinn from the DC Comics, DC Animated Universe and DC Super Hero Girls fandoms.

Canon

Selina Kyle and Harley Quinn are two of the iconic female villains of Gotham City and the DC universe. Most universes, versions of it and DC medias have had the two meeting as friends and allies. When Catwoman isn't serving as an ally of Batman, even though Harley has also been proven to posses some good in her as well. During occasions when it comes to be being there for those that the two care about. This has served as some of the common links that has made the two Gotham women as friends in DC comics and medias that focuses on its villains.

Back when Catwoman would aid Batman, she and Harley were enemies until Selina became more of a villain than anti-hero. Leading to the two Gotham women to become friends and allies.

2015

The 2015 web series has the Gotham girls learning how to be heroes than villains at Super Hero High. Where they where eventually allowed to keep their pet cat and monkey on its grounds. Despite the path their on, the two still slip into their stealing and joking habits that have got them into trouble more than once.

One of those times has Catwoman tricking Harley into serving as the destruction for her plot to steal Ares's golden amulet. By making Harley think that she was auditioning for the role of a damsel in distress in a play. Once Harley learned that she was tricked by a fellow Gotham girl she was angry with her, and later had to help the other young heroes to clean up Catwmon's mess. Keeping Ares from destroying the city until they can get the amulet back on him.

2019

In the 2019 reboot series, both Harley and Selina had moved from Gotham to Metropolis where they fund the Super Villain Girls beside a few other female villains. They hang out as both their villain and civilian selves, as they have chaotic fun together.

Harley has crossed paths with Catwoman a few times in the series, where they have set up as friends and allies.

Season 2

CATWOMAN

Harley and Ivy head to a restaurant, Ivy complaining about the choice. Harley says that she really needs Firefly's flamethrower and contacted the best thief in Gotham who wanted to meet there. Ivy puts it together that it's Catwoman, which she's annoyed by, but Harley is excited. Ivy recounts all the problems she had with Selina, and wants to leave before she arrives, but Harley points out that she's already there. She sits at their table and brings up the job Harley contacted her about. Harley is about to change her mind due to everything Ivy said about Selina, but Selina interrupts saying she wants a Ruby from the same place. So she's in. Harley tries to bring up the past mission, but Ivy ends up interrupting her. Selina and Harley end up in a staring contest as Ivy rambles, when Harley points out that Selina just stole Ivy's favorite jacket. Ivy says it looks better on Selina anyways, much to Harley's annoyance.

That night at the museum, Harley is annoyed that Selina is late, and starts calling "here kitty kitty". Selina then jumps down and asks if Harley's always been this impetuous. Harley says to give her a dictionary and she'll tell her and starts going over a plan to get in. Selina tells her not to "catsplain" breaking and entering, and the plan is for her to handle the traps while everyone keeps at a distance to follow.

Harley runs into the room just as Selina and Ivy reach the flamethrower, excited that she didn't miss the stealing part. Selina opens the glass nonchalantly and walks off. Harley sarcastically says it's been a pleasure doing business, and tells the others it's time to go.

• Harley calls Selina a "cold B" when she steals Ivy's engagement ring.
• Harley angrily says that Selina could have gotten them out of the trap if she hadn't left.
• Harley points out that Selina has 19 cats when Ivy compares herself to her.

CatQuinn is a rarepair in the DC Comics fandom. Thought they are shipped as being two of the most popular female Batman villains, and popular female villains in the entire DC fandom. Some people tend to feature the two with Poison Ivy, from all three of them being well liked Batman villains and like to keep them together as a group than a duo. Along with the fact that both of them have been shipped with Ivy on separate occasions. Selina and Harley both having canon love interests in one of the reasons why this ship is rare, as people tend to focus on those kinds of ships than fanon ones. Even though there are those who do enjoy a good "villain x villain" ship.

On AO3, CatQuinn is the eighth most written ship for both Selina and Harley. There are currently 75+ written works.
