Champion Trio is the poly ship between Rusty, Greaseball and Electra from the Starlight Express fandom.

Wembley Park Theatre[]
After Electra's arrival, Rusty joins the other trains and declares his intent to race. Greaseball skates to the top by Electra, with Rusty joining them. All three intent on being the racing champion of the world.
After Momma races and becomes too tired to race, she wants Rusty to race in her place. Greaseball then arrives and starts insulting the steam engine's, and Momma has to stop Rusty from charging Greaseball. Electra then arrives, and demands that Rusty leave, as all he is is garbage. Rusty then gets the courage to say he'll race in Momma's place when he sees Pearl go to Electra. He tells Greaseball he'll race her, but she and her gang just laugh in his face. He then tells the same to Electra, and their components laugh at this as well. Both then lead their groups in calling Rusty a future laughing stock, but he plans to show them all steam can do.
Later, both Electra and Greaseball conspire with Slick to get her to take out Rusty. The final race is then called, Greaseball racing with Pearl, Electra racing with Dinah, and Rusty racing with Slick. The three then begin the race, with Rusty eventually taking the lead. Leaving Electra and Greaseball behind. However, things come to ahead when an accident happens and they need to restart the race after a break.
The final race is then called again. Greaseball is still with Pearl, but Electra is now with Slick and Rusty is with Hydra. The three begin the race, each taking the lead at some point. However, Greaseball and Electra get so distracted with fighting each other, they don't realize that they've let Rusty pass them till he's at the finish line.

Champion Trio is a rarepair in the StEx fandom. Most fans preferring to ship them with their racing partners rather than all three together. Making GreaseDinah, Prusty, Electraboose and Electronents its rival ships.
