Charlentino is the het ship between Charlie Morningstar and Valentino from the Hazbin Hotel fandom.

Canon

Charlie and Valentino are both powerful demons in hell, Charlie being the Princess of Hell and Valentino being an overlord. The two also have a different type of connection with Angel Dust. Charlie being his close friend and Valentino being his boss/temporary sexual partner. Charlie and Valentino only interact in Season 1, Episode 4, where Charlie goes to talk to him about Angel and how she wanted him to spend more time at the hotel.

Masquerade

Charlie first decided to visit Valentino to spend more time at the hotel. When she goes to Valentino's place, he greets her and licks her arm, as she looks uncomfortable. He then said he could make her a star and she said “Fuck No”. Then she says she will "aggressively kindly" talk to him about the hotel, but she said after they finish because she didn't want to interrupt their work. She then later trips over a cord, setting his apartment on fire, Valentino looks angry and he uses his wings to set the fire off. Charlie started crying and apologized, Val says that it was okay and not to worry her pretty blonde head, he then asks to see Angel in his dressing room. Charlie reached out to him as they leave.

Valentino throws Angel across the room and calls Charlie “Lucifer’s Little Bitch”. Saying that she came there to protect Angel. He then says Angel better get her out of his studio immediately. When they leave Valentino throws Angel to the bed and says that “We are taking this top!” in aggressive tone and Charlie turns into her a demon form, asking what makes Valentino think that he can treat Angel like that. While she runs to him and he smirks, Angel stops her and tells her to leave the studio immediately, as Angel repeatedly tells her to leave Charlie continues to get more upset, she apologized and looked at Valentino, with a smirk on his face. She then runs out of his apartment, crying as he smirks and touches Angel's shoulder, seeming proud of him for kicking Charlie out.

The Show Must Go On

Valentino and the other Vees are seen watching Charlie and the others fight against the Angels, Val seems excited to watch the fight happen. When Lucifer said he was going to "fuck Adam" for messing with Charlie, Valentino is seen saying how it just got interesting, Charlie corrects her father. In the song "Finale", Vox throws a knife at a picture of Alastor, which is near a picture of Charlie. Val and Vox are seen looking at the pictures as they sing.

Fanon

This ship a rarepair and is very hated or not even acknowledged in the fandom, considering how Valentino acted around Charcle combing with how he treats his workers and the fact that Charlie hates him. Fans also argue how toxic the two would be together because of Valentino's cold and abusive personality being mixed with Charlie's sweet personality. Another reason people dislike the ship is because of the limited amount of interactions the two have, considering the fact that they only interacted in one episode. The ship is overlooked by Chaggie and StaticMoth, which are canon. While for fanon ships it's overlooked by Charlastor and not much for Val ships.

However, a limited amount of fans ship them because of Valentino flirting with Charlie, they like to make AU's where Charlie accepted his deal to become a star and they are sexual partners, just like ValAngel often with that story in mind it doesn't actually ship them but makes it a center-focused of Charle angst. Or where Valentino treats her right and truly loves her, never neglecting or abusing her.

• As Charlie and the angels watch Angel, they saw Angel standing up for Valentino. Charlie calls that out and calls Valentino "moth man".
