Charles & Q84 is the family ship between Charles Eyler and Charlotte Wiltshire Q84 from the Hello Charlotte fandom.
Canon[]
Charlotte Wiltshire Q84 is one of the many Charlottes created by Charles. Charles considers Q84 to be his favorite of the Charlottes, with Q84 being vastly different from other Charlottes. While their relationship consists of much banter, many points throughout the game show their mutual care and respect for the other. On multiple occasions, Q84 refers to Charles as "father."
Both Q84 and Charles only physically show up in Hello Charlotte EP3: Childhood's End. For one half of the game, Charles interacts with Q84 with a Vincent vessel, and the other half, in his own body. Their relationship is first established in game when Q84 encounters Charles at school and recognizes him in a Vincent vessel. She invites him to join her White Society meeting, though Charles refuses.
After Q84 wakes up after being attacked, she is once again created by Charles, who had watched over her while waiting for her to regain consciousness. They argue for a bit, and then Q84 asks Charles to help her up. Charles helps carry her to the door of her home, and asks if Q84 will thank him for helping her. She tells Charles to "go to hell," and Charles, in return, bids her good night.
When Q84 wakes up in the bathroom after being attacked by Bennett, she notices Charles in the same room as her, who had been looking after her. Q84 asks Charles to tend to her wounds, though he refuses due to his mysophobic tendencies, and tells her to get Felix to help her instead. They talk about Q84's relationship with the other tenants, as well as Q84's actual age and her lifespan. Charles attempts to warn Q84 to not spend so many vessels as it will lower her lifespan, but Q84 uses a toothbrush on herself and dies. Q84 pops back into the room, celebrating her new vessel, before leaving for school.
At school, Q84 spots Charles again, though he leaves before she can talk to him because of Scarlett Eyler showing up. After talking with Scarlett, Q84 decides to look for Charles, making her way towards the library. Q84 finds Charles in the library, who is having a panic attack. She pats his head, and they sit for a while. Charles asks Q84 how her day was, to which Q84 says was fine. Q84 then points out that Charles is afraid of Scarlett Eyler, to which Charles denies this assertion. Q84 presses on, threatening to learn the reason why, and Charles does not respond. Q84 thinks to leave, needing to investigate unusual linq activity, thinking of pressing Charles about information regarding it later as well. Q84 asks if Charles is just going to stay in the library to which he decides to rest in the infirmary due to a headache.
