Charllow is the femslash ship between Charlie and Willow from the Brawl Stars fandom.
Canon[]
Charlie and Willow are young-looking female playable characters in Brawl Stars and, depending on the player's choices, can face off or cooperate in online modes.
They don't interact directly in the game nor in official Supercell promotional animations. However, they have several things in common. They both work in entertainment businesses: Willow is the CEO of the Tunnel of Love and Charlie is the main attraction at the Bizarre Circus. The design and theme of the characters are based on animal species: Willow is a half-humanoid green amphibian while Charlie is a half-spider human. Furthermore, they both have fangs in their teeth. In the game, both are classified as controller class and mythic quality. Likewise, with their super attack they are capable of enclosing and/or capturing opponents: Charlie encloses them in a Cocoon made of her hair while Willow mentally controls them by throwing a pink tadpole at their head. Regarding their statistics, both have low damage output, a long attack range for both their basic and super attacks, and a normal movement speed.
They also have differences. In their voice lines, Willow denotes greater aggression towards opponents while Charlie speaks elegantly at all times. In the game, Willow has 3 basic attacks to damage, while Charlie only has one. Likewise, although both can capture and immobilize the enemy, Willow has the ability to mentally control them to counterattack. Additionally, the amphibian's super duration is 1 second shorter than Charlie's.
Fanon[]
Charllow is a rare ship in the Brawl Stars fandom. It has very few followers in the entire community, although it has a relative presence on social networks such as Twitter and Tiktok. Their fans began to pair them romantically because they consider that they look pretty together and both are related to animal species. However, it has been criticized and described as a random couple by other users mentioning that they lack interactions, share personality aspects or prefer other character ships such as Mortlow in Willow's case and Charlola in Charlie's case.
In the fanworks, they are portrayed as a healthy couple even if both constantly seek to be the dominant one in the relationship. On the one hand, a common scenario in fanart shows Willow and Charlie being enemies or having a rivalry; however, they also present strong romantic and sexual tension. In fact, artists often use their evil skins (Willow Scorpion and Charlie Rosie) to exemplify this scenario. On the other hand, they also like to choose Charlie as a protective partner for the amphibian woman against other potential suitors like Mortis. Finally, others present a situation where Charlie ties Willow in her hair to calm her, although the frog woman responds by throwing her tadpole at him, leaving them both trapped in their super attacks.
