Chewsolo is the slash ship between Han Solo and Chewbacca from the Star Wars fandom.
Canon[]
Solo: A Star Wars Story[]
When Han Solo was denounced a deserter of the Imperial Army, he was sent to be executed by "the beast", Chewbacca. While imprisoned, Han used his knowledge of Shyriiwook, the Wookiee language, to convince Chewbacca to fake a fight with him. Han figured out a way to allow both of them escape. Grateful for being rescued, Chewbacca proclaimed a life debt to Han and the two became lifelong friends.
The two started their lives as outlaws by working as part of Tobias Beckett's crew. They, however, failed on their first mission. To make up for the failure, the two, along with Beckett, Qi'ra, Lando Calrissian and L3-37, made the Kessel Run in order to steal coaxium.
Having previously failed to win the Millennium Falcon from Lando in a game of sabaac, Han challenged him to a rematch. This time, Han managed to win fairly, and got the Falcon for himself. Solo and Chewbacca started using the ship for criminal activities, and the two eventually became smugglers.
Original Trilogy[]
During a mission for Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo was forced to drop the cargo, leading him into great debt to Jabba. In great need of money, Han agreed to take Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 to planet Alderaan for money. Chewbacca was the one who had told Obi-Wan about Han and the Millennium Falcon. As Alderaan had been destroyed, Han, Chewie and the others ended up on the Death Star, which was in the area. They rescued Princess Leia, who was held captive on the Death Star, and brought her to the rebel base on Yavin 4, where the rebels started planning the destruction of the Death Star now that they had the plans.
Luke hoped Han and Chewbacca would join the rebellion, but Han initially refused and left along with Chewbacca. Chewie seemed to be dissatisfied with the choice. The two later returned, protecting Luke from Imperial ships and allowing him to destroy the Death Star. At that point, Han and Chewbacca became notable members of the rebellion.
Sequel Trilogy[]
Han and Chewbacca remained close after the rebellion as well. The Millennium Falcon was eventually stolen from them, but years later, they managed to retrieve it. Han and Chewie joined the Resistance and went on a mission to destroy the Starkiller Base. During this mission, Han was killed by his own son, Kylo Ren, causing Chewbacca to shoot at Ren in fury. While the Resistance celebrated their victory, Chewbacca mourned Han's death.

Chewsolo is not very popular as a romantic ship, and most prefer them as close friends like they are in canon. On AO3, there are currently 35 written works.
