ChiLither is the poly ship between Tartaglia, Zhongli and Aether from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
In Liyue’s Chapter, Zhongli and Childe play central roles, while Aether takes on the main protagonist’s mantle. Together, the three form an intriguing alliance: Zhongli's wisdom and knowledge of Liyue balance Childe's unpredictability and boldness, while Aether, as the protagonist, navigates his own journey with both characters by his side. Despite their cooperation, the dynamics are complex; while Aether and Childe work together, they often clash, leading to a frenemy relationship filled with tension and mutual respect.
Voicelines[]
In Zhongli's voiceline about Childe, titled Composed, Zhongli asks Aether to inform him if Childe ever causes any trouble, assuring that he will handle the matter promptly. In another voiceline about Childe, Drinks, Zhongli expresses that he would like to join when the time comes for the four of them to share a drink.
In Childe’s voiceline about Zhongli, after realizing Zhongli had deceived him, Childe believes that the only way to settle the matter is through fierce combat. However, Aether intervenes, reminding Childe that he stands no chance against Zhongli. Understanding Zhongli’s immense strength, Aether knows that Childe would be overpowered in a confrontation.
Archon Quest[]
Act II - Farewell, Archaic Lord[]
Childe invites Aether to meet Zhongli at Liuli Pavilion for the Rite of Parting, introducing Aether to Zhongli for the first time. As they prepare for the ritual, Aether runs out of Mora, only for Childe to appear suddenly, generously providing more Mora and advising Aether to avoid letting Zhongli handle any bargaining.
Later, they meet Qiqi at Bubu Pharmacy, where she requests their help in finding the elusive "cocogoat." Despite their efforts, they return to Qiqi empty-handed. Baizhu then appears, informing them that they owe nearly 3 million Mora. Unable to cover the cost, they turn to Childe once more. Though amused by their naivety regarding the “cocogoat,” Childe ultimately agrees to pay, all while secretly instructing his subordinates to keep an eye on their movements.

Quotes[]
- “Tell me, how has Mr. Zhongli been lately? Not bad, you say? Seems he's had no problem acclimating to "mortal" life. Hmph, he sure had me fooled. Such a fiasco mustn't be so easily forgiven! The only way to reconciliation is fierce combat! What do you mean I'm no match for him? Hahaha...”

- “That rascal from Snezhnaya has yet to depart from Liyue? Heh, no matter, just let me know if he gives you any trouble. I shall deal with the matter swiftly.”

Fanon[]
ChiLither is a polyship in the Genshin Impact fandom, involving Childe, Zhongli, and Aether. Although this ship isn't widely popular, it has a niche following, largely inspired by the events in Act 2 of Liyue's Chapter. Currently, there are over 30+ fanworks for ChiLither on AO3.
The dynamics of this trio are often humorously portrayed as "two wallets and one broke god." Zhongli frequently forgets his Mora, leaving Childe, with his wealth, to supply both Aether and Zhongli just in case they run out. Occasionally, Aether is also depicted as having a small amount of Mora on hand to help with Zhongli’s habitual oversights.
