ChiliRye is the femslash ship between Chili Pepper Cookie and Rye Cookie from the Cookie Run fandom.
Canon[]
Enemies for Life[]
The story follows Rye Cookie's quest through the Pilgrim's Path to track down the thief that once stole her harvest. Completing the given Missions triggers the progression of the story. Rye Cookie sees Chili cookie for the first time when Rye sees a "wanted" poster of Chili. Rye doesn't know Chili's name yet, so she keeps trying to find the thief. Once Rye defeats the Ginkgoblin Enforcers in her mission, Chili appears looking for a treasure. Once they meet, Chili offers a hand to Rye Cookie. Rye accepts Chili's request and invites her over to join the mayhem. Together, they defeat the ginkgoblins, and Rye jokingly calls Chili "Careless Cookie", which makes Chili upset, making her introduce herself as Chili Pepper Cookie. Rye says that Chili isn't half-bad in a fight, in which Chili responds that Rye wasn't so bad, and that it was nice to have a Cookie watching her back for once.
Rye asks if Chili is the "rough rollin' type", later adding that she was ok in her book. Chili says that Rye didn't hesitate in that fight a single time, complimenting her. After befriending each other, Rye invites Chili to drink some rye juice, which she accepts. Chili decides to see the bounty board and Rye asks her if she is a bounty hunter aswell. Chili says that the Cookie in the wanted poster was her all along. Surprised, and sad, Rye asks her if she was lying to her all this time. She starts chasing Chili, who is confused by her bahavior all of sudden. Rye asks her if she doesn't remember what happened between them, and says that she will make her remember soon. Rye starts shooting in Chili's direction, asking if she remembered her treasure, a stockpile of golden rye that Chili stole. Chili is shocked, she asks if Rye was the cookie that has been chasing her all this time and Rye confirms, and they start running.
In episode 6, they are still fighting eachother, to a Ginkgoblin Mobster's surprise. The bridge they are in starts to collapse, and Chili screams to Rye to jump, saving Rye. Chili runs away and Rye says that she will never forget her name, and that she will keep chasing her.
Escape Into the Twilight[]
Escape into the Twilight is a Bond Cookie story between Rye Cookie and Chili Pepper Cookie that tells the story of how Rye started to chase Chili. The story starts with warm winds tickled the fields of golden rye. The harvest was bountiful this year. Though delicious every year, this time was special. This time, a certain watcher of the rye ensured the treasured fields had ample production.
Our certain watcher was none other than Rye Cookie, who always mixed a drink using the harvest grains. The first cup from the harvest tasted the best, no doubt about it. And wowzers, this year’s yield was fixing to be the greatest ever. Rye Cookie was ready to break her own rule of using the first batch of the harvest. She couldn’t wait until she got her hands on some tomorrow.
Her anticipation and excitement drove away any signs of sleep. The crickets seemed to chirp louder. The wind sounded as if it were beckoning Rye Cookie’s attention. Temptation grasped at her mind. The wind whispered to her.. Don’t wait for tomorrow. She deserved a reward after all the hard work.
Somewhere a door creaked back and forth. Probably the silo’s door, she thought. It had been finicky for sometime now. Rye Cookie jumped out of bed in sudden realization. A door’s hinges can’t creak unless it’s open, and she had locked down the silo before bed.
Bedhead and all, she grabbed her holsters and bolted out the door. Ain’t nothing good happened next. The silo was clean as a whistle, not a single grain in sight. But up above, Rye Cookie saw Chili Pepper Cookie was fleeing the scene with the only sack of rye left over her shoulder. Rye Cookie shoot her but it was too late. The robber had already made a run for it.
Rye Cookie followed the trail of grains left behind. But the trail went cold and ended with a single grain of rye, left alone on the road.
Rye Cookie was no longer a watcher. Now, she was a catcher. To be more specific, she took up bounty hunting. She roamed the lands with just a red poncho on her back. Rye Cookie chews on grains whenever she stares into the sunset. She ain’t going stop until she finds that infamous Cookie.

Chilirye is one of the most popular ships within the Cookie Run fandom, with a huge number of supporters. Most artworks of Chili Pepper Cookie and Rye Cookie are with them fighting together/each other, sometimes chasing each other, or with other themes. The ship sailed because of their Cookie Story Bond where we see how the rivalry of both characters started. Some might like the ship because of their similarities in personality.
On AO3, Chilirye is the most written ship for both Rye and Chili Cookie. It is also the second most written femslash ship in the Cookie Run (Video Game) tag. There are currently 110+ written works.
