Chilyu is the het ship between Tartaglia and Ganyu from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Canon[]
Tartaglia and Ganyu have yet to interact, although they both appeared in the Liyue Archon Quest. Both have very similar ideals, to serve devotion to their respective gods (Childe to the Tsaritsa, Ganyu to Rex Lapis). They also are considered 'outsiders', since Ganyu constantly wavers around her human and adeptus halves. While Childe, is disliked by the other harbingers because of his tactics. Furthermore, Childe have a grey color palette with a yellow accent and a red head accessory (his fatui mask). Ganyu has an overall blackish-blue color palette with a red accent along with red head accessories (her horns).
On the contrary, every other part of them seems to be dissimilar to one another. Ganyu is much more shy, optimistic, and peace-seeking. But Childe, on the other hand, is confident, manipulative, and constantly power-hungry. He believes that battles exist for his sake, and is always seeking for any type of power. Ganyu, however, believes that existing in the first place is a beautiful thing and is enough.
Gameplay-wise, they both uses a bow. Childe has a Hydro vision; Ganyu has a Cryo vision. Because of this, they can create the reaction Frozen. With their skills and bursts, they can almost constantly freeze the opponents. They are both also, considered one of the highest DPS in their respective elements. Overall, they have a great synergy in the game.

Fanon[]
Chilyu is a rarepair in the Genshin fandom. Mostly due to the two never meeting and both having a bad reputation, for the most part, in the Genshin Impact fandom. Fans believe that though they have different personalities, their personal beliefs may help bring them together. Some also believe that they also look aesthetically pleasing together. They are often seen in fanworks as Ganyu oblivious and calm, while Childe is more flustered, or the other way around.
